Following the plan by the government of Nigeria to purchase new presidential aircraft for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, the main opposition leader in Nigeria and presidential candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi expressed his opposition to it citing the dire strait of the Nigerian economy. However, in reaction to Obi's opposition, the Presidency, speaking through the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, asked Peter Obi if he wanted Tinubu to die in an air mishap like the Vice President of Malawi or the President of Iran.

Why is Tinibu using proxies to deceive Nigerians ? He claimed that Wike, not Tinibu, suggested naming an Abuja Highway after his biggest political supporter, Wole Soyinka. Secondly, even though Tinibu had long wanted to change the National Anthem, in the end, Tinibu said it was the idea of the national assembly. Finally, Tinibu being the big spender that he is, wanted a new, flashy presidential jet. But, he claimed that buying an expensive brand new jet was the idea from the National Assembly. Always lying. Never telling the truth. Always scamming the people. When will this man grow up ? When will Tinibu, for the first time in his life, speak truth to his fellow Nigerians. That in itself will be quite refreshing !!!
