Thank you! Lots of videos on how to do it, but they are all for a different model of Sprinter and while instructions are similar, only yours work for my Sprinter. Mercedes certainly doesn’t make it easy to enter service menu.
You have to hold the home/back button, click the center select button, and release both at the same time. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. If you have a smaller screen, then it's the back button and center button. Same button location as these on the steering wheel, just different labels.
I got it to work. I just want to mention that it's NOT the home button that you press and hold it ended up being the BACK button. But thank you it worked.
Thanks for the video! One thing I may add...you must click the center button WHILE HOLDING DOWN the home button. First few tries did not work, until I noticed you did this. Thanks again!
So on my 3500 similar display as your video, the Asyst Plus menu doesn't have anything on it except Service A past due. I've tried it 3-4 times and each time it is the same.
Thank you for the guide. It does not work on my Citan Tourer V420 even if they have same dash / same menu. I can access to the menu Vehicle data, brake pad and assyst plus but when it displasy "for Assyst plus" turn the ignition on and i turn ignition on the menu disappears instaed of going to "service data / full service"page... would appreeciate if you could help and thanks for the great job you do!🤗
i have some questions about this model. usually how many is millage for this model when you need to replace oil. The second one, how many is millage for gearbox oil and capacity ( i mean how many liters you need to replace completely (gearbox/transmission oil) Thanks for in advance !
Depends on the engine. The 0m642 v6 takes 12.5 liters of oil and I change it every 20,000 miles (32,000km). The 0m651 I4 takes 11.5 liters. Mileage is with 229.52 MB Spec oil. Typical transmission service is a drain and fill plus filter change. That usually takes 9.1 - 9.5 liters of transmission fluid.
