COP14: Mobilising climate finance for biodiversity and wetlands - Lessons from evaluations.

This RAMSAR COP14 side event took olace on Tuesday, 8 November 2022, in Geneva.
The session focused on the state and role of private finance in climate adaptation and wetland conservation. The IEU head, Andreas Reumann, shared key findings from the independent evaluation of the GCF's approach to the private sector. He was joined by representatives from FAO, The Commonwealth Secretariat, Wetlands International, and IUCN, for a discussion on the role of private finance in wetlands conservation.
