it really is, when hes not wearing the metallica hat hes even more down to earth, Id love to see him make some kind of car related content, i feel like it would be really cool to see his creativity with customising.
It amazes me how a guy held on a podium can enjoy the little things as much as any other person. Such a down to earth guy.

James is just an old school mans man. Simple things, hunting, making stuff, cars and such. In 2023 it’s hard for most to understand but most men used to be this way lol.

I like that James Hetfield isn't afraid to be filmed doing what he loves to do and I am sure there are many that would look down on him for doing this. Especially being who he is. Good on him.

You can see James is really enjoying his low key life in Colorado ! Not being the frontman of the biggest metal band of all time but just be James Hetfield. I am glad he is eating all that Colorado meat though ! Not just killing for fun only. James Hetfield is the man and I am his biggest fan

I’m a deer hunter. Started hunting in 2016. Have had several successful hunts and some I don’t know how I didn’t come back with something. I love my 44 mag rifle it does the job.

As with any creature we harvest. It should always be about the meat. Antlers look great on the wall but they aren't the main source like the meat is. Great to see James out there enjoying what us hunters enjoy doing.

Tough to watch but Papa Het does eat his hunts.
My Girlfriend said she can't watch this , so I said "I would rather watch this than watching Hundreds of cattle being slaughtered in a Slaughterhouse , when I was a teenager I watched a Farm Cattle Slaughterhouse vid and it really upset me and put me off eating meat for a long time.

at one point in my life I really wanted a quad to go hunting, so when me moved to alberta, I got me a tricyle or trikey,... working with a student budget and went hunting with it..
It was -20 deg celcius, on that crisp beautiful november morning... it was fun though.. a bit cold yeah.. but, when you are adventurous..
no I no longer own it... just thought I should wait until I get hunt some place warmer.. those compact suzuki jeeps, sidekicks, was a warmer alternative, in the meanwhile..

Big animal lover here and it isn't easy to watch these videos. I do however have a lot of respect for these guys. I don't eat meat because of how inhumane and disgusting factory farming is. No issue with ethical hunters who feed their families with these magnificent creatures. Yes, I feel bad for the animal but I also understand this is about the best death they can ask for. The alternative is the disgusting factory farming or dying a slow and painful death out in the wild (although I understand that is nature, it still is brutal I'm sure). I do have a question for the hunters out there though. When you have a mule like this guy that is surround by what looked like maybe a female and some young-ins (Please correct me if I'm wrong) does the death of the papa mule have any real effect on the rest of the clan? Or do they just keep on like nothing happened?

Even if I could not find enjoyment in killing animals I don't mind people hunting as long as they follow the law. After all it's sometimes needed for regulation. I think it's one of those (many) subjects where you can't just go with your guts feeling and judge people just because you would not do the same thing. Of course James being my ultimate hero in life he could behead a living deer with his teeth and I would find it cool anyway, lol.

Entendería que maten a este animal por supervivencia, pero matarlo por el simple hecho de divertirse no le encuentro sentido.El animal no los atacó ni le hizo nada. James cómo frotman de Metallica está bien, sigo a la banda desde 1988 cuando escuché el LPs de Máster of Puppet , pero me parece un estúpido el quitarle la vida a un animal que no les hizo nada, no creo la caza sea un deporte si hace esto para drenar sus problemas personales que escriba nuevas canciones. Es mejor que vuelva a la bebida alli el unico que la va pasar mal es el ,hay que ser imbécil para hacer para lastimar a un animal indefenso.
El caza para comer, lo dice en el video, por la carne, yo personalmente no cazo (mi familia compra comida de granjas y carniceros y cazadores) pero una vez fui a cazar con mi tio, no es divertido matar al animal, no es divertido, pero, toma tiempo, estrategia, es una actividad muy interesante, dificl de hacer, asi que cuando matas al animal sientes que haz ganado una recompensa, por eso la gente sonrie, porque ha logrado su objetivo, tambien lo hicimos por carne, nos dura como 2 meses, la caza recreativa deberia ser prohibida eso si.
