It would be cool if there was a zombie survival game with the same driving mechanics as this game and hunting from hunting games. If only stupid battle royal games didn’t exist
This is probably too late to mention, but the way the scavenge sites work is that when you pick up a load it will shortly afterwards spawn a new random size load at any one of the available scavenge sites. Also, I am rather curious why you didn't utilize the utility trucks to repair themselves as well as the trucks they towed. I maybe wrong, but I'm under the impression that a damaged vehicle has reduced power output. Lastly I thought I would mention that from my experience the Freightliner is actually not all that bad offroad. I actually took one into the swamp with a crane attachment and long log setup and collected some long logs from one of the scavenger sites. It's high power combined with it's "always on'' diff-lock allows it to slowly push through on dirt roads.
4x4 evolution 2 was amazing...i wish they would offer a game like that these days....theres literally no off road games with truck lift and customization

As a child I always wanted a realistic off-roading game for PlayStation but there was none and now that there is one after so many years of waiting, I have lost my interest and moved on to circuit racing. I guess I got tired of waiting.
I have 3 on laying on thier side now lol. Just bought the dlc, awesome 13 bucks Cd. Wheres the next one .lol. Good vid Jim . I did notice low gear on the LtL with a '''load''' on isn't bad. Makes it a challenge .
It is kinda funny though to just randomly click at certain points in the video and laugh at what this game is: watching a virtual vehicle struggle up a hill with a whining engine noise in the background...not making fun of it, cause I think it's kind of alluring lol, but its just funny.

I found this map to be easier, even if the Western Star is massive, so left those off to do at the end.

Hopefully truck physics are better .... I like mudrunner but the physics felt odd not enough tire spin or drift effect , definitely on dry or gravel roads trucks should slide/spin tires causing more of a drift effect , always felt like all vehicles were tanks stuck to ground
balance points are essentially like levelling up. Completing maps gives you more points, which automatically unlck new maps and vehicles for you to use,. As a secondary function, each map has a point allowance to spend and it varies depending on the map - the more starting points you can use, the more powerful the equipment you can select. This is why a Hummer costs 1 point and a Forwarder costs 5
Really nice game overall beautiful graphics but I can get past the drivers hands animations it’s so horrible they could’ve just done it like in far cry 5. They look much more realistic there.
The American scout vehicles are way better than the Russian scout vehicles. I cant tell you how many times I have to quick wench the russian vehicles. I call the American hummer h1 "Mr Unstoppable." . I use american scout trucks on Russian maps and they handle the mud much better than the Russian vehicles. 😎 They also Look, and sound better. So American scout trucks for the win!
Do I need to buy mudrunner and the american wilds game to play the american wilds or does the american wilds have everything? You've confused me by calling it an expansion... do I need to buy and install mudrunner then buy and install american wilds to expand on it?? Know what I mean? Thanks!
There is now a version of the game that is Mudrunner + American Wilds combined, but for those that already have the base game, you can buy the add on separately
Thank you for the video. I am a little concerne, about why, right when you start, the car seems to drive so bad on the road? Its seem to slip on the road for no reason, like you are driving on ice or mud, when you are obviously on concrete. I would understand if you were off road, but its not the case at all, and it seems to drive so bad. Wanna purchase the game, and its all about driving, so i am really concern about that.
Old comment, but it's because the vehicles probably have deflated tires for offroading, the trucks that aren't built for offroading don't have the turning issue if I remember correctly.

It's been a while since I played using the Scavenger mechanics so I forgot that new logs are generated when old ones are taken

Whats the advantage of scavenging for logs when u can just goto a log station and auto load ?
it's a different way of playing, plus in Hardcore mode, maps with scavenging don't have traditional log points so you have to scavenge

Varies depending on the map. Island has a trophy for trying to get to the top of both volcanoes so that's a good rock climbing opportunity
