The Storm/World Variant is highly referring to Storm being infected by the T-O virus (while being possibly pregnant, as a plot point by Hickman in the original script of the one-shot Giant-Size X-Men: Jean Grey & Emma Frost #1) by an ORCHIS-escaping Serafina in the beginning of the aforementioned one-shot, which was later handled by Storm and an AIM scientist ally in The World (the home of Fantomex and his clone brother) in Giant-Size X-Men: Storm #1 by being contained and distinguished into a mysterious orb. Mutants were in the right to give humanity their things they created on krakoa with certain conditions. But I want to see where Marvel goes with the children of the vault after fall of X.
I don’t like the idea of the COTV they just seem to be another groups of super powered beings that world is chill with while mutants are always hated on. It rubs me the wrong way. How is Orchis so focus on mutants when you literally have godlike beings like them running around.
Yup. And that is the point: be a reflection on the real world that contains rampant hate of specific groups for unfounded or irrational reasons while being OK with the same thing they or other accepted groups do that they base their rationale for hatred on.
Since you came very close to talking about it, but didn't, I'm very interested on what role will the kid shown will play. Rodrigo Muñoz. That's no coincidence that he shares a last name with Darwin/Armando Muñoz, who last we heard had evolved to become code and snuck off his body when the Children of the Vault were picking him apart, he said "Ideas are hard to kill", issue 17, November 2022. And since that's exactly how the Children are infecting humanity, I'll be very surprised if Darwin didn't hitch a ride on that, similar to how he was implied to have hitched a ride on Forge when a data page mentioned his Cerebro backup going from a size comparable to Synch and Talon back to a normal size after Forge met up with Darwin inside the vault. I'm thinking Darwin will take a page of Orchis' book, like when they hacked the Krakoan gates because they got access to Warlock
It's ironic that Xavier created Krakoa to protect mutants from humanity yet it was one of their own a Mr. Sinister clone who destroyed them. Humans were right to fear them
I got to watch it and like Dave of Comic Breakdown's review of it, there are parts I agree & disagreed with it. I've noticed the commentary on politics in this issue like you brought up. The similarities and differences between the COT and Mutant emergence, it is similar and then, it's not. COT does announce their humanitarian support of the rest of the world like Dawn of X, but then the politics emerges Dawn of X could produce their solutions but limited quantities that released through economic/political infrastructure, which controlled the distribution. COT solutions are released as they determine the release without the economic/political infrastructure management. Hellfire Trading company realized their resources can't accommodate everyone immediately and have no ability to control the avalanche of demand or the tide of supply. COT administers to the base as they designate. Economic/Political infrastructure either may/may not realize that control/supply is outside of their influence prioritizing the departure/removal of Dawn of X. The avalanche is surging towards humanity, without awareness of the dangers. Orchis/Nimrod/Omega-Sentinel sitrep of COT is taking a backseat. Nation states/Autocrats (Doom) should be cognitive that COT is a covert operation supplanting their own power & control, as a economics that produces all that one needs, all that one wants, would mean on what basis is the economy? No wealth? Power? What's unknown with COT is how it functions. Are they all the same? How do they decide? Who decides? Is it a hive or a collective? Hives have hierarchy, collectives' common access but like Borg, a central Queen/leader. The virus Cable/Bishop discover makes humanity workers? Will Dr. Stasis, Orbis Stellara, Mother Righteous agree to COT collective/Hive or a Dominion with who at the top? It's interesting that COT only shows a handful of individuals and not a whole city of individuals and Darwin's last communication indicated he wasn't ready along with Sephora allowing Forge to leave the Vault, so her realizing that they were in a dream world should not have been a total surprise to her that did she really believe that they eliminated all threats/competition then what were they doing all this time, sitting on their laurels? Considering her power instantaneously synch up with all tech, know Krakoa fell but not all mutants are gone or the existence of Nimrod/Omega Sentinel should have been identified. Lots more questions.
Ernie, it was so NOT a nod to Tyler Dayspring. Nathan's name was NATHAN DAYSPRING SUMMERS. Yes, Nathan Christopher Charles Summers Dayspring really but marvel introduced him as Nathan Dayspring while to whole it's a secret who is really is for years. What Tyler, who had a behind the scenes and in flashbacks minor role at best, is being nodded at for unless you saw a"Tyler" in the issue somewhere. You were reaching with that one.

So I haven’t been paying attention for quite a few months now since I heard that Hickman was forced out of the project. But what is everyone’s opinion on the events after Hickman left? Are these story lines evolving into good plots? Cause I wanted to see where Hickman was going with this reboot, but now that he’s gone, I’ve lost interest. Am I alone in this?
I've never heard that he was forced out. I'm sure some others didn't either. Consensus seems to be that some of the new writers are doing great with some of the concepts that were introduced in the weaker parts of Hickman's run; and that they are following his broad notes anyway.
Cable's time displacement has never been depicted as leading to variable aging. Whenever his 50+yo version comes to the present, he's always been depicted as continuing on aging +1 year each year he experiences. If he was 15 and went to the future for 35 years between events and came back to the same day, that would make sense why he's suddenly 50, but he's referring to him coming as a teen, being captured as a teen, being held for only weeks, and now looking like his older self. That said, I believe this Cable was caught as an old man, on his own ship, and not in the version of events it looked like when he was ambushed by Orchis in FCBD.

my question is. If just one of the Children of the Vault can go clap up a whole team of XMen, what are their levels? How many of them are Omega level in power? All of them? Over half? I need to see more on them, they need their own series and data sheets.
Excellent content. But seriously, where are you getting your t-shirts from??
I think the storm variant is the one she got in that giant sized issue from serafina and they had to get fantom X help.
Mutants were in the right to give humanity their things they created on krakoa with certain conditions. But I want to see where Marvel goes with the children of the vault after fall of X.
It is important to share, they gave it to the poor. Not just everyone.
I don’t like the idea of the COTV they just seem to be another groups of super powered beings that world is chill with while mutants are always hated on. It rubs me the wrong way. How is Orchis so focus on mutants when you literally have godlike beings like them running around.
Bruh this beat slaps 👀🤌🏽🔥
How is orchis any better than mutants? Make it make sense…
They aren't but humans seem to become irrational when mutants are involved
That's my whole problem with people hating mutants only. Fei Long has red skin and shoots lasers out of his mouth but no one cares.
#FACTS Mutates get a pass, smh
Yup. And that is the point: be a reflection on the real world that contains rampant hate of specific groups for unfounded or irrational reasons while being OK with the same thing they or other accepted groups do that they base their rationale for hatred on.
@@bajansamurai you're so correct. Irrational hatred is just that, irrational.
As am I. I am intrigued about Darwin
Nice shirt, Blerd
3:47 MJF treatment 😂😂😂
It's ironic that Xavier created Krakoa to protect mutants from humanity yet it was one of their own a Mr. Sinister clone who destroyed them. Humans were right to fear them
That’s because the writing is bad. Why even ally with Sinister AFTER EVERYTHING he’s done? Smh
11:15 no way bishop was the traitor?! Have you done a video on this already ?
This was good 😊 ✊
They change that story line too much on who the traitor is/. I thought it was prof x who turned out to be onslaught
Nimrod will take out the children of the vault
5:30 😂😂✊✊✊
Loved this commentary 🤦🏽♂️
.......the children of the vault recent evolution upgrade is due to Darwin..... Wouldn't it be a trip if Darwin gave them all an X gene.
I blame evil Mr. FANTASTIC
Love the shirt.
Man! I love me some Cable!
Do an explanation video = Bishop vs Cable.
idk any superhero/ team that has more enemies than the x men… That’s why they’re #1
Darwin is going to have to save everyone
Was awesome.
In X-men 25 kid cable was kidnap by Orchis and his arm was rip off by nimrod
Old man cable was kidnap in his graymalkin ship in space
Orchis will use kid cable as bait
Children of tommrow they will be tough for bishop and cable to beat
They have to use strategist to be them
What's the difference between the children of tomorrow from earlier comics, or is this also a retcon?
💀 @ that Premium Cable
Cool issue the title I was looking foward the most orchis scared to get clapped
And cable man this man just too cool for school I love cable
Iam here for it all
All X-Men comics are about real world social and political situations in one way or another..
9:17 Nothing would have happened except the same hateful stuff. Humans would've found some way to take them down because the X-Men still wouldI've been "soft".
So it's a newer INHUMANS
Do you mean like offering everyone vaccines, which are demonstrably evidenced to save lives, humanity would have accepted benevolent life enhancing gifts?
And NONE of the other non-mutant superheros don't find any problems with it? 🙄
Exactly what I was thinking. When the Phoenix 5 were doing similar things in AvX in terms of averting natural disasters and ending wars, the Avengers fell all over themselves to stop them. But nobody says anything about the Children of the Vault? Nobody's the least bit suspicious? 🤔🫤
@@Jgd3322 phoenix 5 - hosts of the fractured entity of life and destruction being slowly consumed by their power, leading to them committing atrocities
CotV - not hosts of a cosmic entity
@@hypertechual4436 they did start committing atrocities for sure, but only after being provoked by the Avengers. Their initial actions were fairly beneficent albeit autocratic.
ill forever hate marvel in comic humans because they except any and everyone except mutantkind so easily with minimal question.
So they evolved into mutants ?
If Cable is old after a month in 2023, it LITERALLY doesn't mean anything, Ernie. He's time displaced; for all we know, his aging was accelerated.
