I have lived a stones throw from the Stoga all my life and only now have found appreciation for her.

The Conestoga was a big part of my life during the first half of my teen years. I found a silver friendship ring on the climbing rocks beside Butter Road. My friends and I messed around a lot at the old dam just upstream from the New Holland Pike bridge. We fished, built rafts and had good clean fun. As a young father I took my children on a canoe adventure for about half the river's length one day. One time I felt that I had spotted an ancient eel weir from the Eden Road Bridge. I reported it to the authorities, and nothing became of the find. (Their loss, not mine.)

Absolutely love the conestoga! Well done team on the great video, article in the paper, and Donald’s book.
Though it may be reckless and ill-advised, I still find immense pleasure swimming in the river
