mmmmplayed in slowmotion ,he extactly knows where the record and his fader is..... , which maybe not the coolest is to listen to outside the scene, but hemakes so many tiny pauses, backspins, which you hardly see at normal speed. I think he also that that he doesn't have to pay for the the new 1200(hifi) and new vestax mixers.....though i wander why vestax only makes a couple of mixer etc. , while i love the brand as turntables for scratching most... Btwstrange that the limited version of the 1200 will cost the same as the normal version, from a hifi standpoint of few... Those arm and feed, ain't real cheap...and other wires in the arm... I think the new arm will fit the old table, just like rega arms are used on many hifi tables in upgraded form... Too bad that it cost about thesame as another direct driven hifi table (4000euro), so 3000euro seems more reasonable, but technics has a new hifi-line..... nice and expensive and the return of the 1200 is i think more due to that, then dj stuff....,since the new hifi gear is in the same alumium style. But if i would need a turntable and also sometimes want to spin the record, i would certainly go for a new technics, where you ain't have a crappy build pcb and shitty feed.which are all second hand, with dried out solderjoints ,crappy cables.... unbalanced platter. Build like a tank.... we'll see now age becomes a huge factor and nobody makes a new transformer and motherboard or upgrades the current components.....which are old. People are too busy with the looks, but spend nothing on another tonearm...., instead they buy a diy arm from somebody on ebay, while there way much better options....
they're not called Hifi, they are turntables or 'Decks' and that mixer isn't made by Vestax, it's made by Native Imstruments and designed to be used specifically with Tractor a digital vinyl emulation program.
