I miss the early 90's PC games. Back then, we were easily amazed by anything. Even hearing sounds coming from our Sound card or seeing more colors on screen was cool.
Thank you for including Syndicate. That was a fantastic game!
Another world and Flashback were amazing!
Another world is so atmospheric!
X-COM: UFO Enemy Unknown is a freaking masterpiece
Such an atmospheric game
Terror From The Deep, too😀
Ah, Cannon Fodder. Starts easy and then gets insanely difficult.
I can't believe Supaplex is on here! My brothers and I were really hooked to it, and later we even managed to create levels for it and shared them in specialized forums and pages! Such good times.
I was so surprised to see it here too. I remember spending quite some time playing this game, cool memories 🖖
technically it was a Boulder Dash clone.
@@cehaem2 you're right, I remember playing Boulder Dash on C64 decades ago!
Supaplex is available online even now, I played it for tens of hours just a few months ago
Several flops in this list. Shame.
Great video series that evokes nostalgia of a golden period of PC gaming. I'd also recommend the 1993 RPG 'Betrayal at Krondor' if anyone hasn't played it.
Nice. Among a bunch of other games, I'm missing Metaltech Earthsiege in the video when you already have Mechwarior 2.
So nostalgic! Especially the music!
Lemmings is the only one that I would still play today.
Memories….Warcraft 2 was one of the first games i ever completed.
haha same for me ... its was my second fav back in the days ... first one was heroes 2 and 3
@@jasmynbelley3107 Heroes 3 was after 1995
I loved all the kings quest and space quest games. Mechwarrior ii was an amazing title as well as a kid. Of course wolfenstein and doom and quake ahhhhhhhh the memories
Many great memories and many great games as well.
Great compilation
Indiana Jones, C&C, LBA and Theme Park brings memories. Thx 4 uploading
Oh wow, Wing Commander: Privateer.... God only knows just how many hours of my life were 'lost' to that game in particular!
Full Throttle - what a game, great story and comedy!
3:22 Dune 2 (Westwood)
5:22 Desert Strike (EA)
5:37 Wolfenstein 3D (id Software)
6:22 Doom (id Software)
6:52 Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos (Westwood)
9:22 Lost Vikings (Blizzard)
10:22 Elder Scrolls Arena (Bethesda)
13:07 Warcraft: Orcs & Humans (Blizzard)
13:52 Command & Conquer (Westwood)
15:06 FIFA 96 (EA)
16:07 MechWarrior 2 (Activision)
17:22 Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness (Blizzard)
harika bir video olmuş, eline sağlık abi
Çoook teşekkür ederim. Sizler ile birlikte hep çıtayı bir öteye taşıyacağız.
That Wolfenstein 3D looks ... different from what I remember.
Also that "Myst - 1993" looks like "RealMyst - 2000" to me.
Lemings, Vikings, Prince of Persia, Lotus, Street Fighter, Cannon Fodder, Desert Strike the best games
I can't believe how many of my favourites are in there :)
Same here. I only miss Prince of Persia 2
this 90s intro sound of the video is damn nice😄
Buram buram nostalji tadinda , emegine saglik 👍
Bu yorumlar için, seve seve... zevkti.. Ne mutlu bize o nostaljiyi verebildiysek.
Eline saglik muhteşem bir video
Eyvallah çok teşekkür ediyorum..
Another world was incredibly good. Lost wikings was also fun
Sehr gutes Video!
Nice collection. Love the montage! Some captures are from remakes of these games, though, right? Like in the case of Another World and Myst. Would be nice if you found the time to do 85-90 which is also part of the golden era of dos gaming. :)
Indeed, I played Myst back then and it was all (3DStudio) _stills_ :) Another World was the 20th anniversary edition.
That was an interesting looking version of Wolfenstein 3D. I've never seen it look and sound like that before. The MS-DOS original looked and sounded different.
Probably a mod
@@Josep_Hernandez_Lujan Definitely a heavily modded version.
It's not the original version, this looks and feels more like Doom. The leap within 1 year from Wolf3D to Doom was HUGE - the video unfortunately gives a wrong impression.
@@surject It's probably a modded version played on an emulator. Same goes for Ultima VII. Wolfenstein 3D had no horizontal scanning, that's why there's no floor or ceiling and all hitboxes are vertical. Doom 1 had the same issue but Carmack and Romero managed to hide it better as they used a different mathematical model for rendering. Their technical genius is still underappreciated. Everyone knows that as the guys behind the games but what they achieved there from a technical point of view was just revolutionary. And we need to remember, at that time PCs used only software-based rendering, GPUs had only a support function, everything was done via the CPU. Amiga and the consoles had dedicated graphics chips. Even Commander Keen was a fantastic piece of work as smooth scrolling was unachievable on PC at that time.
@@cehaem2 Yup. Loved Keen5 and finished it I think. Didn't like the ones before though. The next ones I played were Jill of the Jungle and Jazz Jackrabbit by Epic MEGAgames ;) Always wanted a SEGA system and never got one ;)
Ahh commander keen my childhood’s game when I was 3 finally found
Also couple of great games from the 90's
Zool (1992)
Dungeon Master 2 (1993)
Return Fire (1995)
I remember dragging my old PC 486 with a turbo button over to my friends house and we connected both PCs with a serial cable and played Warcraft 1 for a whole day.
It was my first encounter with multiplayer and it was mindblowing!
same
I missed the original Wing Commander Games (part IV came out in 1995)... great compilation, nonetheless. :)
...and Strike Commander - one of the biggest games in the early 90s. Privateer is wrongly tagged in the video as well (Origin Systems, not former-Blizzard)
INCORRECT:
Myst was NOT a real-time game in 1993!!
RealMyst from 2000 was!
Wolfenstein 3D didn’t get visually overhauled until 1994.
This was sooooooooooo my childhood!
CIV 1, Dune 2, Supaplex, Doom, The incredible mashine, Lemmings, Settlers, Sim city 2000, Master of Orion
Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss as one of the early great dungeon crawlers.
How much does it suck being 40 in 2022, knowing how things were and how things have changed for the worse. The innocence that is literally lost for ever now, with the invention of the Internet combined with a cellphone.
Agree, still better than be 50 old gamer like me…miss early 90’s gaming when i was 18 and play all day pc games
Commander keen so much fun realy good work vorticon company.
The screen transition looks somehow the same as that of the Daily Wire .. Great video though!
Ahh be..
Settlers, Transport Tycoon, Worms, Command&Conquer ve Warcraft..
Ne gunlerdi...
Yupp... Oldies but goldies :'(
man those bring back alot of good times. and man ive been playing pc games for ages i see ahahaha
Great memories
Played many of those as akid. so definately agree on theses choices :))
Thanks a lot :)
1:06 this soundtrack was done incredibly well
Bundesliga Manager Professional!
Colonization is my favorite.
Quest for Glory series of games were the best ones for me
34 games recognized, 16 of them finished
I'd put for sure Prehistorik /P2 on this list. Also maybe: UGH, Raptor, Tyrian, Body Blows, One Must Fall 2097.
The king Quest series should really have a remake, make them all grafical as KQ VII. But in a higher resolution
At 9:40, Wing Commander: Privateer is credited to Silicon & Synapse. That was Origin Systems, though. I just caught that one right away.
Yup, the craziest studio at that time :) Strike Commander should also have had a spot in the video.
Çok güzel video ellerinize sağlık
Çok teşekkür ederim. Sizlerin güzel gören gözü.. 2. Bölümü geliyor 2 gün içerisinde. Kaldığı yerden 2000 yılına kadar ki oyunlar... 😊
Wow! I wasnt aware I played that many games back in the days
civ için... öncebir.... kaçdamlayaaaaşşşşşşşş... gözlerimden süzüldüüüüüü..... :) eline sağlık adaşım, fps derdi olmayan günlerimizin, şimdiki gibi birkaç saatte tüketilen değil, aylarca oynatan oyunları hepsi. çok çok güzel bir derleme olmuş.
:) muhtemelen bu gece de part 2 sini paylasicam. Özellikle 96 97 ve 98 yılları oyun tarihinin kaderini belirlemiş. Adaşım o duygu bende adventurelarda ve RTS türünde oluşuyor. 😊
@@RetroKafaYT bekliyoruz efenim :)
@@blablabla3806 Bu gece.... :) Haftaya sizi nostaljiyle başlayacağım.
wolfenstein 3d yanılmıyorsam ilk fps oyunu :) ms-dos'ta oynanıyordu bitirene kadar göbeğimiz çatlamıştı o yaşlarda :)
Evvvet..
Alone in the Dark was so good.
You have several errors in this video:
1. The version of Another World you show is not the 1991 game. It's the anniversary edition released in 2014 / 2018 which has upscaled resolution and redrawn backgrounds.
2. That is NOT Wolfenstein 3D from 1992. That looks like a mod of the game with redrawn graphics, high res textures and higher overall resolution. The sound and music are not from the 1992 original either. Completely another game.
3. That is NOT Myst from 1993. That's Real Myst released in 2000. It uses a fully 3D graphics engine with 360 view and free movement.
I have played that Canon Fodder with Nokia 7260 phone. How big was were the 1993 PC computers?
OH shit, Civ 1 I loved that thing.
Indiana jones, Larry 👍. Police quest, swat, darkseed, Tex Murphy, Martian memorandum.
Anyone remember the game Sir Daniel Fortesque? It looked like Medevil. He had a dagger and was pointing it at you on the cover of the box.
Dune1 Dune2, WOlfeinstein, Doom, Duke Nukem, Diablo, Sierra adventure games, Lost Vikings, Warcraft, Starcraft, Eye of the Beholder, Westood adventure, Lucas arts adventure games....
Can you recommend a channel like this but with voiceovers like reviewing the old pc games? Kinda like game sack or chrontendo
100 bin aboneyi hak eden bir kanal 🎮🕹️🤙🖐️👍😃😉

Isn't it impressive how many awesome games came out in the 90s? So happy I experienced so many of them (thanks to BBS) in my youth. These days all I play is BF3 for 11y lol...
The Myst snippet was a bit misleading, the game was groundbreaking, but not THAT groundbreaking. :D The video shown is realMyst, a game that came out in 2000, not 1993.
You forgot Star Control 2 which is one of the🐐s
Are these clips of you playing? I'm wondering which version of Master of Orion has background music. I thought it only had music in a few specific screens, but not during galaxy map and colony handling.
Its wasn't me matey.. (At least, most of games..)
still playing civ(1) today. 2022 October
PC games with a Commodore Amiga 1200 for thumbnail 😂
2:53 what is that music played with Utopia game?
Seslendirme yok ve tanıtımdaki oyun video süreleri kısa. Fakat güzel flashback olmuş.
Best of videolarında seslendirme olmaz ki.
What is that version of Larry 6 or Wolfenstein 3D?
Does anyone remember an educational game(~2002-3)where was a alfabethical song with Animals. The most important memory i have is a guy that fluesh tears into his eyes when you exit the game. I can not find .. thanks
90s - best decade for PC games...!!! But this is a very German list. There's many I have never heard of!
These are all English games that were very popular in English-speaking countries. I don't see anything German about the list.
What is the name of the game that has clans like wolf, dragon and kabuki warriors?
yeni video hayırlı olsun
Teşekkür ediyorummm Gopnik.
Video feels like click bait when you see “Myst” and it’s the 3d remake, or “Final Fantasy” when it’s FF7 (in part 2 of this series), etc
Thers some good games here.
2:26 nothing like arresting a glass jar, for no reason at all.
Ha! Crusader - No Remorse I still have the original game here somewhere. Also it is unimaginable to me today how I could be playing DOOM for hours. I mean, seriously? But it was the sh*t back then. 🙂
i will try to found one question game... something with travel i think or local questions for many country's... 🤔
A little disappointed that The 7th Guest, Dracula Unleashed and X-wing aren't on this list.
I played so many of these, I loved flashback and the early Lucas arts stuff Indiana Jones and monkey islands
14:07 That's not Crusader: No Remorse, but *Crusader: No Regret* ;) Still good game and good soundtrack ^_^
Helen was great ! Enable in game console and use code "casper" to enable ghost mode.
Why is the video thumbnail showing an amiga500?
Dune 2 is the GOAT
Thank you for the nostalgic, I have look all of video about PC games 1980-1990 but I haven't found the game that I played when I just little kid, only some memory and never remember the name:
- It was surviving game at the base with lots of corridor on other planet or earth (like aliens movie)
- the protagonist only one person (that us)
- like RTS game, it camera angle 45 / isometric
- we're defending from lots of alien white slime bubble (really hard to kill even using laser gun)
- That alien will start spawning after some time (so we can prepare defending)
- we can activate some robot by using terminal to help defend
- when the alien invade, at the map will showing that some corridor will turned white (showing the alien position), and if it too many alien then all corridor will turn white and it was nightmare
- the game its over when we absorbed by alien white slime bubble
Anyone can help the name of game?
can you please tell me what is the name or how can i find the intro music? thank you
Sorry for late answer mate. All musics licensed by "Envato" You can make membership (of course monthly payment) and use hundreds thousands music from there.
@@RetroKafaYT ok sir. Thank you!
they forgot the best game from the 60-95's period,, Master of magic, hands down the best game
How can you highlight so many good games and not Ultima Underworld? If anything deserves to be here, it is this game. One of the best of all time.
Maybe he just didn't play it.
Guys, Its not about i played or not :) Many list, many combination of peoples this lists appear... Some games, i didn't play already. But they r in list.
Yepp, that was a revolutionary game back then
No Doom 2?
