Love seeing your young Britt. It's my GSP's first season too. He handled the woodcocks well but the grouse are still a bit much for him. Eventually he'll figure he can't be that close to them. We moved 12 grouse today and brought back 4 in the bag. He had nice retrieves though.
Thanks dude! One collar is a GPS to track the dog, the other is an ecollar. Sometimes I run their regular flat collar on them too, but for the most part I take that one off and it's just the other two.
Thanks for sharing this. South Central WI here and have a 10 month old Brittany myself. She ended up missing out on most of the summer training after breaking her neck in a freak accident. How many lbs is your brit?
Man that's a bummer, sorry to hear! I hope your pup recovers fast and you guys are back in the woods together. Aspen is about 23LB, Ember is a little smaller yet and is 22LB, and my Male Yeti is 34LB.
@@UplanderLifestyle Thanks for the reply. Kes is right there, last weighing in at 23lb. Been working on getting her out in the field finally, and hoping to get on some dove or woodcock this week. Love the videos, and keep them coming!
Hey James! My orange female is from Southern IL and my liver female is from North Dakota. Both breeders don't do many litters, so I don't know what their future plans for pups are. I'll be having a litter of pups with my little liver female, Ember, who is 22lbs next spring. Keep in touch, and good luck this season!
@@UplanderLifestyle thanks for the reply. Definitely be interested. Are you going to post anything about the litter on this channel? Or is there a better way to get updates. Thanks
Would you be willing to take a phone call. I had an interesting weekend in WI on a ruffed grouse and woodcock hunt. Wanted to ask for some advice and training tips if you had a few minutes.
So much fun watching a dog and human do what they both love. SO jealous! My mutt doesn't cut the mustard. 😀 Thanks for the video!
Aspen is full of pep, thanks for bringing us along.
She's always up for a good time! Thanks for watching!

Time and patience! You guys will be pinning those grouse! Good luck and thanks for following along!
It’s awesome once a first time bird dog realizes why they’re out in those woods. I got to see it with my dog this past weekend.
Awesome to hear man! I'm sure there's a lot more to come your guys way!
BIRDWORK makes the Day in the BUSH !!!!!!
Thanks for the video !!!!

Awesome videos man! New into upland hunting, what’s the reason for so many collars?

Great hunt and dog work keep up the great videos
Thanks man! Have you guys been able to make it out yet?
@@UplanderLifestyle we're going October 8th thru the 17th for grouse and woodcock

Nice Job!

Was this in the UP or south of the bridge?
Great video! Can you tell us what kennel(s) your dogs are from? I would really like to get a dog around that size. Thanks

It’s a Swiss bell from Lion Country Supply.
Thanks for the reply
What earbuds/ear pro are those?
They’re Walkers Game Ear Rope Buds. They’re ok, a little scratchy sounding while on. I just put them in before I’m about to shoot if I remember to.
What shotgun and vest you running there
Hey Mathew - thanks for following along man! I use a Stoeger Uplander in this video for my shotgun and the vest I run is the Pyke Wingman.
Mark knee memorial?
No this was not a GEM site.

Nahhhh, you don't sukk mannn...you're quite good actually...Did you train your dogs yourself?
I was more or less talking about my shooting abilities there when I whiffed on that grouse with a good look at it 🤣 Yes I did train my dogs myself.
@@UplanderLifestyle I get it...I just got crushed skeet shooting
She has Gods thumbprint!
