- I have used Photopea several times. I have even made tutorial videos. While making thumbnails for my UA-cam videos, I often remove the background first.
In this video, you will learn the process that I use to remove background. The video is the answer to: how to remove background in Photopea.
Depending on your image and its complexity, you can use one or all of those methods. I have explained which method is good for what image types. Click the below timestamp to find the ideal way.
Chapters
0:00 Intro
009 Method One (Easy and Fast)
0:36 Method Two (Solid backgrounds)
1:17 Method Three (Works on most Images)
2:28 Method Four (Ultimate method)
The first method uses AI to detect the image background, and with one click, it removes the background. It should work on many images, but it may have difficulty with complex photos.
The second method works great on solid backgrounds. If you have a green, white, or any other solid background, use this tool to remove it quickly.
The third method is slightly complicated because you must learn to use the tool to remove it. However, it is a popular method involving AI and manual work to provide better results.
This is our good old manual method to remove the background. It is a full-on manual, and you must do the work, but because it is manual, it is on you how you want remove the background.

how to make the obeject smaller or bigger after you remove the background ?
Select the object layer, then go to "Edit," and then click "Free Transform." Then, use the corners to change its size.
It is helpful but I need to know when there are more than one person in the picture and how I can remove the 2 persons in the background image of a person from the picture
There are multiple ways to do that, but it is hard to explain that in a comment.

Object selection and background removal - your final method? Look around you, the world has changed and lasso object selection is a thing of the past. Just because Photopea hasn't yet adopted the advanced features from the new Photoshop 2023 for object selection and lassoing doesn't mean you can't remove objects or backgrounds in dozens of free online tools, editors and generators for photomanipulation. If you're going to give advice to others, be a little responsible. Thanks and good luck.
I still use Lasso tool in Photoshop. You know why? Because it works. Yes, there are other ways now, and I have covered those here. Lasso is still part of those photo editing tools, and it works great. If you are going to give advice to others, please do some research first. Thank you and good luck.
