For everyone bitching about the movie being far from Greek mythology keep in mind that this is DISNEY. This movie is for KIDS. I myself love Greek mythology but I am not triggered just because Disney like always is trying to be kid friendly. Tiger- chan i understand that part but why does every movie or show make Hades evil. in this movie i kinda understand them having someone replace hera’s role in the original greek myths but they could have used Ares. Not to mention the fact that they keep saying that this story is the “gospel truth”.
Actually I have seen kid friendly rescripts of Greek Mythology. For the parts with Zeus raping people they literally just shown a golden light and then had the narrator give a cheshay parent to child lie as to what is happening, then cut to the woman being pregnant.

At the risk of an r/woosh, in the actual myths, the Titans were descended from primordial beings Gaia and Ouranus. The Titans themselves procreate and created the Olympians. The "Titans" of this movie more closely resemble Greek Monsters, specifically Typhon, the Father of All Monsters.

+Lord Prince Zuko The cyclops wasn't a titan but I don't think any of the guys they showed were either. Cyclopses were actually a full race with blood related to the Titans in Greek mythology.
yeah even when they showed hades freeing the titans they only showed the four elemental titans and then when they talk about how they are going to destroy zeus only those four are shown using their powers, and when hades tells them they are going in the wrong direction only those four are shown. and then out of nowhere hades starts talking to a cyclops that was never shown before. where the fuck did he come from? were the writers just like “oh shit we need something for hercules to fight while the titans are going after zeus, injure the love intrest (forgot her name) so herc can get his powers back!” “How about we put in a cyclops?” “well while a cyclops isn’t a titan they are siblings to the titans and i guess they were imprisoned in tartarus as well albeit before the titans, so that could work. oh but the cyclopses became good guys, how about we make him polyphemus, the only evil cyclops?” “No we won’t have him say his name!” “What why?” “because none of the other titans say their names nor anyone saying their names.” “Alright fine, ok now that is settled lets go tell the animators to put the cyclops in the previous titan scenes.” “The deadline is one month.” “Nevermind he comes out of nowhere.”
