I did this same mod in my Kia Forte GT over a year ago. Huge difference in handling and more consistent braking power. The control arms are shaped similarly to MQB arms.

I can safely say they make a difference immediately after the 1st few spirited corners/roundabouts.
surprising how weak the original wishbones are. (they are from the standard i30 not upgraded for the N model.)
Definately a good investment considering how cheap they are for what they do. 👌
I've had the braces on for a while. Looking at tracking my Veloster N this summer and eyeballing the RS3 ducts. Have you had any rubbing issues against the duct at full lock?

the brake ducts are audi RS3 brake ducts.
they need slight tweaking as shown in the video.
can find them on ebay or google for rs3 brake ducts. 👍
Do you think the wishbone braces would be beneficial to a car only used on the road? I've no plans to track day my car.
If you like to have a bit of road fun yes. the oem wishbones are the same as a standard i30 so not meant for much abuse. i drove it on road to test and noticed the difference immediately. 👍
Did you test the brake duc on track?
did you happen to know the torque spec for the 3 17mm nuts at all?
I wasn't able to find any torque specs when doing a search online.
i did my to 110nm torque

Will this fit the base 130? I have the base trim of the Elantra GT 2018.
I cannot say for sure. best bet is to message rpm performance and ask them.

The standard wishbones i believe are from the non performance i30.
So with the extra power and having an LSD they flex quite alot.
I noticed straight away more precision in handling and cornering after fitting them

dont use the torque wrench as a breaker bar mate you throw out calibration
