well i managed to get the skr v2 installed on my cr10s. the only problem is, i can build the firmware with no errors at all, but it won't upload to the board via usb to pc. i have to use an sd card and keep swapping it out back and forth. another problem is, i am getting no printer attached, but it still works. i have tried everything on this issue. one last thing, i am unsure if i hook the cooling fan to fan 0 on the board if it will kick on automatically after the first layer. i am going to assume these are common problems that will come up. i would like to add, i have 20 different things connected via usb, flight controls, wheels, usb hardrives, that might be the problem with upload. i am able to use pronterface without issues.

Depends how you configured fan. If it's not automatically configured in Marlin firmware with Controller Fan or some other configuration_adv.h. so probably a Slic3r issue.

@@EdwardBraiman i appreciate your quick replies, i will become a patreon to help you out some. these skr2 boards have become nothing but a pain in the ass to the point i considered just using the skr 1.4 turbo until some of these problems are ironed out. it is nice turning the fans off when the printer is not used though. it saves fan life an my dining room doesn't sound like a jet engine anymore. i don't have controller fan enabled in marlin, but i am using the btt tft 70 screens that can change most settings in the touch screen. surprisingly i still use marlin mode over touch screen, jjust a habit i guess.

TFT display allows automated gcodes and sending commands like Pronterface.

Mate I have a small issue or I'm sure if it is. I am up and running with an SKR2 and TMC2209s running on Klipper with a TFT35 and Octoprint. The board has USB and PSU jumper there. If I have it on USB, it works well. If I put it on PSU (correct wiring done), it will not boot up and load. Any idea why this is the case?

My guess as I'm still learning Klipper is it might not yet be supported.
You can always load Marlin firmware and see if it works.

There is an rgb connector on the board. Why is it needed? I want to control a led strip. Which port is the best way to do this?

Yes there is a RGB port, still have not a comfortable method to configure physically.

Interesting, but why not use an addressable LED strip, like the NeoPixels? Much cheaper and you can have many LEDs or just 1, you only need 1 signal line and they are supported by Marlin
