Manipur: This Is What Happened On The Polling Day | Tamal Saha Ground Report | Lok Sabha 2024

A round up of what happened on the polling day in Manipur's valley regions. Multiple incidents of violence, firing and alleged booth capturing have been reported through the day. One 70 year old man has sustained bullet injury after miscreants opened firing at Moirangkampu Sajeb in Inner Manipur Lok Sabha constituency. EVM machines have been attacked and even set ablaze at multiple places in the valley even though there has been massive deployment of forces. Voters, yet, have placed their faith in democracy and turned in huge number to exercise their franchise.
