Interesting fact about Boo. Since the voice actress was a toddler when she played the character she wouldn’t sit still in the recording booth, so they followed her around the studio with a microphone in order to get her lines.
That’s adorable
Didn’t know that but that is so stinking cute!
Hard to believe that Mary Gibbs (voice of Boo) will be turning 28-years old this year.
@@pastorcoreyadams holy shit
@@pastorcoreyadamsoh my god, I was basically her age when this movie came out?? I’m gonna turn 29 in about a month. Jesus lol I didn’t know we were that close in age.
My favorite detail in this movie is how Boo stays worried when Sully shows her the empty closet. It wouldn't prove anything to her since Randal is her monster and can turn invisible.
I mean, in this movie all children's closet doors are intermittently portals to a monster dimension at night. It seems like a normal closet all day and most of the night; no kid would be satisfied with a 60 second demonstration of an empty closet.
@@Br0nto5aurus This is why when I was little I decided my stuffed animals were guardians who could magically raise a shield around my bed to protect me at night. I also decided that monsters had a rule that they could only attack you while awake so if you could pretend to be asleep well enough they couldn’t get you even without the shield 😂
@@Br0nto5aurus Except that none of the kids KNOW that their doors work that way. To them the monster is either there or it isn't. They have no concept whatsoever of monsters that can appear at random whenever they want.
back when pixar used to actually animate bloopers... we really had it sooo good as kids
They don’t make bloopers anymore.
I looked it up, and apparently only three Pixar movies had the intentional animated bloopers-this one as well as A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2. It's a shame because they were really fantastic, but of course is more work for the animators. The LEGO movies (not Pixar but still animated) also have them.
i want that they make bloobers T.T it was sooooo funny
@@theadamabrams The Lion King also received bloopers years later and it's pretty funny seeing them talk like actors in front of a camera.
@@theadamabrams yess those are the ones i remember shaping my childhood 🥹 they were so good
The scene where Sully scares the prop kid and ends up accidentally scaring Boo in the process, and the enormity of that hits him while he's reviewing the frozen frames of the video, always struck me as what a kid sees when their parent is standing over them yelling.
How scary for the kid 😞
The little glance at her as he's still focusing on mean mugging the robot before he snaps out of his training to actually look back at her as she runs away is a brilliant little touch, blink and u miss it sort of thing. It brings a whole other layer of humanity t the character that you'd usually only see in live action. Also the reflection in her eyes as her tears start to well up... They totally bumped the lamp with that scene. And that's just visuals, not to mention the sound design as well. Absolutely amazing.
20:46 they kinda clarified that in the later prequel "Monster University". Different kids are scared of different things, so one that is scared of lions would be well scared by someone like Sullie, and then Boo appears to be scared of reptiles so they matched her with Randall (like they said in the commercial). So yes, Randall scares her regularly
They also mentioned it in the commercial at the start "we match each child with a unique ideal monster"
I remember it from this movie too. At least my friends and I got it when we watched it as children
they also explain in the sequel that scaring a kid with not just the matched monster, but also the right tactic to make them scream is important because otherwise they'll merely cry (like Boo does when she gets scared by Sully) and this would not only not give them any power but also just alert its parents (tho of course logically they'd get alerted by their kid screaming too, pff)
@@MetaLatias5 I figured that crying would be harder to explain in a sense, while a child could have a nightmare and wake up screaming, and when they tell their parents, the parents think it's just nightmare. But with crying, that's harder, you saw something and cried? that'd be very odd to explain away. It also seems that crying produces unstable scream energy, which caused distortions and a power surge in just one area.
Part of me wished that it was a slightly older Boo saying "Kitty?" at the end, implying that she still remembered what would only be believed as an imaginary friend.
It was her tho-
@@Cody_L._BrockYa, they mean her when she’s older
Boo is Abby from Turning Red cuz she likes fluffy things bec of Sully
@@Glaceonmonshe looks almost exactly to violet from the incredibles. Of course nothing about who she really is is confirmed as she very well might be her own character. But I’ve always seen her as a baby violet.
I thought that was implied...at least that's what I always thought they implied when she says "Kitty" at the end.
Mike putting the door back together because he knew it would mean something to Sully still gets me. Sully had done so much for him, and it was his chance to pay his bro back.
"They're like soldiers going off to war!" Well, when you consider that a single touch from a child will kill you.... they kind of are!
I don’t care if he was a bad guy; when Randal’s sidekick is in the scream extractor it still disturbs me to even just think about it.
Yeah, this movie messed me up for when you go into surgery and they put the anesthesia mask over your face.
Because of the implication.
To be fair, that machine is absolutely horrifying. There's no reason to think that it doesn't kill whoever is on the other end of it. As someone with Asthma, it was particularly unsettling for me to see. The feeling of your breath being stolen from you as you can't even scream anymore; with breathy wheezes being all you can manage, was far too close to reality.
And the fact it was meant for little kids like Boo. Like he says, “Shivers.”
17:50 - a bit to explain what Boo is saying-
The studio cast a little girl and tried putting her in front of a microphone. But they found that she was shy and didn't want to make much noise when they did it. So they set up a playroom and followed her around with microphones to record what they could.
Presumably, later they found good spots to put the different recordings within the film. So, for example, her being upset and screaming in the studio would be used in the apartment when Mike takes the bear from Boo.
19:35 - with Boo speaking gibberish, the little girl they recorded was only about 2 or 3 years old. Vocal enough to make lots of noise, but not old enough to have a big vocabulary yet.
I'm impressed that they taught her how to say Mike Wazowski.
@@greywolf7577 fr though
Your face when the big M covered Mike’s face and then your realization that Mike doesn’t care and that he only saw the positive side made me so happy 😅
Yeah, I would do the same.
Love this movie!!! Fun fact: The code "23-19" is called that because the 23rd letter of the alphabet is W and the 19th is S, so W-S, which stands for "White Sock".
It's also the initials of the main characters: Wazowski and Sullivan.
@@AlextheHistorianthis doesn’t make sense because wazowski is mikes last name and Sullivan is Sullys first name lmfao
@@Daytondaily nope, Sully's first name is James. It's Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan.
@@AlextheHistorian lmfao I’m so stupid because I literally knew this 😂 8 am brain
I'm 33 years old and just now finding this out! 😮 Wow!
Fun Fact: Billy Crystal (Mike) was originally offered to play either Woody or Buzz in Toy Story, but he turned it down thinking the movie wouldn’t amount to anything. Once he saw it was a massive hit, he immediately accepted the role of Mike in this movie.
Omfg I knew his voice was *so familiar* but I never looked it up. He def could have done Woody, his voice fits it well.
@@bhelliom3at least, Tom Hanks did a great voice of woody.
He nailed it as Mike, I legitimately can't imagine anyone else voicing him.

@CarWashReviewsEthanBickmore seriously. People think that because they saw a movie, everyone in the whole world saw it too. The fact that they haven’t turned this into a ride at any of the Disney parks in beyond me….how cool would it be to ride a coaster around the door warehouse???
I think they did- in Tokyo or China.
There's a ride at California Adventure.
@@Lmmurillo14 it’s not the door ride everyone wants, it’s just a dark ride.
I don’t think there’s a ride at Disney World, but there is an interactive comedy show which is really cool! (Interactive as in, somehow animated characters can see and hear you).
Coming back to this comment to confirm the announcement of Monstropolis coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios, complete with the door vault coaster!
Boo's lines are honestly amazing because, as the comments say, they just walked around recording this toddler saying random gibberish, but then you have the most gotdamn EMOTIONAL reading of the "kitty?" line near the end when Sully leaves and like, how did she voice act that so well without meaning to???
I think Boo is speaking what I would call toddlerese because it’s the weird gibberish that is very specific to toddlers and the only thing in all of that, that I picked up other than “Kitty” was that I think a one point I heard her say “apple juice” when Sully was tucking her in and that was only on this watch but to be fair if I were Boo I’d want apple juice before bed too!
What about when she said "Mike Wazowski"?
I think she also says “wanna ride on it” like asking Sully for a piggyback ride 😂
@@burk314 Well yeah there’s that too but I knew that I think this time I picked up more and the “apple juice” thing if I heard it right was new.
@@lilscenechick1995 I think you’re right.
Definitely toddler gibberish. my cousin sounded like Boo when she was her age. I could never figure out what she was saying/asking for 😂use your words please.. ” was said a lot 😂
Sorta fun and scary fact: The Hairyhausen's restauraunt was supposed to be literally blown up in flames and explosions (Like with the sock earlier in the film) to get rid of the human contaminants. But due to the events of 911 at the time they had to change it to the forcefield.
YIKES
I mean... big explosions in public areas aren't how to properly handle biohazards anyway. The force field made more sense.
@@tricitymorte1 Indeed. The point of the explosion was supposed to be a joke by Pixar on how monsters deal with human contaminants me thinks. just super over the top nonsense. The Forcefield works just as well too
Also the big explosion implies people actually could’ve been killed, compared to the force field version where it seems like there were only injuries. The latter definitely fits the tone better, in my opinion.
@@hunterlawrence3573 Well I mean the CPA agent did radio one of the other agents the area was cleared so there is that.
Monsters university is the prequal to this one and DEFINITELY worth the watch. Its underrated, fleshes out more of the world, and has a really good point to convey
Yes yes yes!!! I came to find this comment
And the soundtrack is FIRE
When Boo was showing Sully her toys, she hands him a Woody doll (from Toy Story) and a Nemo. :D One of my favorite movies of all time. A perfectly-cast...umm...cast...of voice actors. Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, James Coburn, Jennifer Tilly...SO GOOD!
It wasn't Woody, it was Jessie :] and Finding Nemo came out in 2003, while MI came out in 2001, so it was just a regular squeaky clownfish- tho, today I could understand why people would think it was Nemo 😆 but another cameo in her room is the ball she hands Sully- that's the Pixar ball :D
Oh I love this movie...
Fun fact, the reason that Boo sounds like that is actually because they just followed her voice actress around with a microphone. So it's just natural, baby gibberish. XD
My daughter sounded exactly like Boo for a little while. It was so cute and hilarious!
This movie was a big part of my childhood. Whenever my mom suspected I was up to something, she would use her impression of Roz & say "Always Watching"
Awww😂❤✝️🫂I absolutely 🧸love that! It's adorable ❤
When Monsters inc came out on Blu-Ray, I believe, they moved the outtakes to the special features instead of the credits like it used to. Unfortunately, Disney+'s version is based on that one. I'm happy to finally see someone react to the outtakes
I never understood why streaming services don’t put many special features from DVDs up with the movies. Especially Disney+, since they have a whole section for it. That was one of the best things about DVDs, so it’s sad to see it becoming a thing of the past
@@hunterlawrence3573 My biggest issue is with the Lion King. My parents gave me a special version as a kid that replaced one scene with a newly animated version with "The Morning Report" (a song from the Broadway version)
Now, i always watch the movie and feel it's missing something
The fact you've never seen the bloopers tells me you've never seen A Bug's Life or Toy Story 2, which had bloopers for both! I recommend checking out both!
I feel like the scene at 30:17 hits so much harder after seeing monsters university. It adds a lot of context of all the things they had to do to get to the position they are in at the start of this movie. I highly recommend you watch it (if you haven’t already)
Mike Wazowski is one of the greatest friend characters in animation...
He is flawed, he is prideful but also humble, he is rational but can recognize his mistakes...And the fact he went through so much to fix the door for Sully...
I think Boo is supposed to be talking in baby babble, since she’s just learning to speak and can only say a few actual words. But her parents must be really confused when she comes home and starts repeating “Mike Wazowski” a bunch XD
Monsters Inc is one of my favorite Pixar movies. It always makes me sad. Fun fact: the garbage scene is based on a Looney Tunes cartoon where Marc Anthony thinks that Pussyfoot turns into a cookie. Boo is named after her voice actress Mary Gibbs
🔥🔥🔥😢😢😢🤣🤣🤣
I thought something about that seemed familiar!
Fun fact, this one was Pixar, not Disney. Disney only distributed their early films. :)
"Give me that shovel" is one of my favourite scenes in any Pixar film 😂
"Get 'em, Ma!"
17:21 i think it was along the lines of "take a look i drew a picture"
(I've babysat a lot of little kids so I've developed a bit of an ear for translation of kid english)
That is just so Pixar. They take seemingly simple ideas and they transform it into such a complex, heartwarming story. The same studio that gave emotions personality, they took idea of monsters in the closet to make this little gem 😄
Another fun fact about Boo, her real name in the movie is actually Mary (same as her voice actor). You can see she has signed her name on the drawing she made of Randal.
I love the gel dude they pass on the street...he slips through the grate and says, "Oh, Great!" The prequel, Monsters University is worth a watch too.
For a realistic movie about contamination watch Silkwood with Meryl Streep and Cher. They work in a nuclear energy processing plant; based on a true story.
9:05 The Monsters Inc. directors confirmed several things, first is the room at the other side of the door at the time mark is Sid's room, the evil kid from Toy Story.
Second, the descriptions other give of the kid, that floating, shooting lasers and mind powers, is a theory that Jack-Jack from The incredibles, who in the second movie has the power to travel between dimensions, when he does his warp he does to the world of Monsters' Inc. and all that the monsters described was Jack-Jack going crazy with his powers since he can't control them.
This actually wasn't Disney! It was Pixar before Disney bought them!
Pixar has always been disease
Pixar is diseny
Disney owns Pixar now, but originally Pixar was started by George Lucas but then sold it to Steve Jobs. Disney originally was just the distributor for Pixar’s films until Jobs sold the company to Disney after Wall-E was released. So everything from Toy Story to Wall-E is 100% Pixar.
@@codyweathers4415they are now, they weren't then
if Monster's Inc. was real, Randal would have been my monster during my childhood. ever since seeing the movie Forbidden Planet (1956) on TV for the first time when I was 7 years old (in 1970), I have had nightmares about invisible monsters trying to get me! (😵💫I'M NOT PARANOID, YOU ARE!😵💫)
in the early stages of writing the story, they wanted Boo to be an older girl when she got into the monster world and she would speak, but be gibberish to the monsters, and from her POV, the monsters would speak gibberish, but they soon tossed that idea and eventually made it with the younger Boo as a toddler.
my son was still a baby when this came out, and I watched it with him a lot! when he was a toddler, Disney had Monster's Inc. on Ice, and when they came to our town we went to go see it. my son got so excited he actually fell out of his seat (so I had to hold him on my lap)! and it was so impressive with the skaters wearing all those monster suits to skate around the way they did!
This is what I needed today to make my Birthday that much better. So glad you got to see this and enjoy it! The "Dang it man. Again?!" Was just perfect, hope don't mind saying so, but love when you cry to films haha!

@@ttheunfortunate Awesome! Happy Late Birthday Twin 😄
I used to have this movie in VHS. During the credits were "bloopers" of the movie and Mike actually made his music number, being a parody of all they lived. We could even see Mike's mom.
Edit: Oh, they are still there! My favorite is the one of the closet.
This was my favorite Pixar movie before we got the Incredibles. I always love it when fantastical stuff gets turned into a tangible thing that might actually work in real life (granted if screams could be turned into a source of energy)
I can't express to you how much this reaction means to me. This was the first VHS my dad bought after he got custody of me and my sister from the state - this movie means my entire childhood and I am so, so happy to see you enjoy it
love your reactions! :)
fun fact about the movie: at the beginning they say they match the monster to the kid, based on their fears, so it makes sense that boo is scared of randall (slimy snake) but instantly likes sally, who is quite the opposite (fluffy kitty)!
The best way to go into this is to not ask questions, the more you think about it the more confused you will get 😅 its in its own universe
Im truly glad you enjoyed it! This movie was my childhood!
There’s a prequel to this movie called monsters University! It’s about how Mike and Suly met!
Yeah and it stinks!
Boo's naitive language is English, but has baby, gibberish vocabulary as she's only 2. The only actual words she says in the film are "Boo!", "Kitty!", "Ew" and "Mike Wazowski!".
What about, “I’m Tigger!”
I love that duet between Billy Crystal and John Goodman. The song "If I Didn't Have You" is fantastic.
Also, if you don't recognize the voice of Mike's girlfriend Celia, that's Jennifer Tilly, best known as Tiffany, the love interest of the iconic serial killer doll Chucky.
Once you know it, it’s unmistakeable! 😍🥰 Jennifer Tilly is such a gift!
@@samanthaweis3228 She really is. She's like Helena Bonham Carter in terms of her acting versatility, too
really? I've always hated that song lol
There's an interesting PIXAR Theory that 'Boo' grew up to become the witch from Brave. When Sully suddenly stopped visiting her, she became obsessed with magical doors in trying to find him - in fact, if you look closely, you'll spot at least two of the witch's carvings which are clearly Sullivan (and not bears).
There’s also a theory that Boo’s mother is Violet from the Incredibles, which explains why the bedroom wasn’t turned into a crime scene after the toddler disappeared. If her parents are superheroes, then anything the police could do they could probably do better.
I love John Goodman in this one. He's such a great actor.
I always forget how stacked this cast is. His voice is *so good*
"Kitty!" Best ever. So freaking cute.
12:24 Sully knows that he gets a lot of the spotlight since he's the scarer but he also values Mike as a friend and coworker to try to share it with him.
17:50 actual toddler babble! It's so cute... :D
29:08 my heart goes out to the poor monster employees that had to enter the human world through some kid's closet carrying the banishment doors (or the materials to build them) and then travel through the terrifying human world to the middle of nowhere to finally place the friggin doors and then come back just to be able to vanish monsters
36:38 the trailer that Randall ends up in is the same one from A Bug's Life when Flick goes to get city bugs. I think you'd really resonate with the message in A Bug's Life. It's an old one but it still holds up very well and has an animated blooper reel.
I'd like a Monsters Inc. 2 where instead of going into individual rooms, they've set up children's comedy clubs in the monster dimension to harvest more laughs per monster and kids are just all in on a secret. Boo could come back as a 10-year-old.
this and finding nemo were probably my two favorite movies when i was a kid
Did you notice Nemo doll Boo is showing Kitty?
The ending to me represents the power of laughter, and joy, literally being stronger than the pain we feel over losing someone we love, as well as how we always carry of piece of them with us in our hearts. Sully hearing Boo's voice again and she's the exact same as he remembers always sends me, makes me think of everyone who is forever young, while we get older. Monsters Uni is awesome as well!
Monster inc old classic 100/100 movie 🤩😁
Old?
I just want you to know that watching your videos really lifts my spirits 😊 You have such a beautiful smile and your joy is so radiant it's infectious. Im a new-ish subscriber, but so glad i found your channel! Keep being you ❤
It's a shame they stopped doing bloopers for animated movies, of course it's a huge bundle of extra work but like you said it makes the characters feel real and gives some extra dimension to them.
In addition to the bloopers they had the company musical "Put that thing back where it came from or so help me" during the end credits.
I love it whenever I get to call the score 23-19 in a volleyball game 😂
I also recommend some extra shorts from the end credits of VHS version (likely bonus features on the DVD or out and about as short pieces)... One, is of course, the company play. Yes, it is a musical and there is a song of Put That Thing Back Where It Came From. And then one where Mike gets a new car!
I'm a 28 y/o Man, and everytime i remember or see the scene when boo and mike saying good bye to each other, ahh man too emotional tears everywhere 😪 such a great animated movie ❤ i have a beautiful and adorable daughter now like boo 🥰
I keep axolotls (aquatic salamanders from Mexico), and they have a somewhat similar head/body plan to Randall. So my mom, who is afraid the the axolotls, calls them Randalls.
te toilet in this film is the first ever to be animated in cgi! also boo's drawings were done by actual young children of the story artist. they asked the kids to redraw their simple sully and randall designs then used the results for the film, which is perfect to me cos i can always tell when an adult is "pretending" to draw "childlike"
when you see monster’s university and then watch monster inc, you see sullys and mike’s relationship and why they are to each other, you see their growth, you see them surprising/changing things for their world, making a difference, and the greatest duo to be ! the writers did amazing to continue and make a prequel. good vid mate!
Fun fact : Sully actually comes from a long line of famous scarers, so he’s a bit of a celebrity because of his lineage 😌
Today's my dad's birthday, and Monster's Inc. is one of our favorite Disney Pixar movies, because me and my dad's relationship is like Sully and Boo.
I highly recommend watching the shorts that came out with this movie and with the incredibles. They're so good and are such a treasured part of my childhood.
Edit: Writing this post made my heart a little full ngl!
They were originally going to make a sequel or short film of having mike and sully return to see Boo, but time had passed in the human world, so she was very old. They saw her hooked against a heart monitor or something. When she wakes up she says, "Kitty?".
The monster saying a kid shot its lazar eyes at them, there’s a theory it was Jack Jack from the incredible
The fact That you search for the bloopers, made my Day❤
As a Brazilian, I love this movie. The dubbing they did here is GOLD. I love it.
15:45 fun fact, this was originally a mushroom cloud explosion, but they changed it bc this came out a few months or so after 9/11.
The first Toy Story was rendered with 294 processors, Toy Story 2 used 1,400 processors, and Monster's Inc. used 3,500 processors. Pizza Planet truck at 36:33 also : D
You HAVE to watch Monsters University, it is so rare to have a prequel better than the movie!!
Great reaction. The ending always makes me cry. Especially after Sully takes boo back home and she opens her closet door and he's gone. Always chokes me up
THANK YOU for watching the blooper reel. All of the early Pixar films had these, and they were ALL amazing! You gotta see them all, they are such a riot!
Wonderful reaction as always, good sir!
John Goodman voices Sully. He's been in a bunch of films. He's in many Coen Brother's films.
Billy Crystal voices Mikey. He's a great comedy actor, "Harry Met Sally", " City Slickers" "Running Scard", Oscars host, stand up and more.
There's a theory behind why the monsters claimed human children to be extremely toxic. Once they invented the power to travel to the human world, a monster was infected by a child and couldn't be treated as it was an invasive disease. Leading to everyone believing they'll suffer the same fate.
Also that Boo is Violet from the Incredibles as she practically disappeares and reappears.
Pertussis, man. That whooping cough, it'll getcha!
People also wonder about Abby in Turning Red being older Boo.
@CKaffeineIVStat exactly cuz Abby is obsessed with fluffy things cuz it reminds her of Sully
Something I recently learned: in the original cut of the Harryhausen's scene, the CDA actually blew up the building in a huge fireball. They changed it to a force field because it was just after 9/11 and Pixar felt that blowing up a building might not be in good taste. That's why the bag "recovered at the scene" looks scorched, like it was in an explosion.
You melting over Boo's gibberish was the best 😄
I feel like you'd really appreciate the prequel Monsters University for fleshing out some more about the monster world, the logic/skill behind scaring kids and why some monsters become scarers while others don't and of course, seeing how Mike and Sully started out and became such a great duo ^^ I hope you'll react to it
Also so glad you watched the "bloopers" at the end, we all miss that time when Pixar made those cfgvhbjn
Always make sure to check if one of those older Pixar movies has bloopers or not, they're absolutely worth it XD (I definitely remember Toy Story 2 and A Bugs Life having them as well at least)
They were so popular, they even made a set of bloopers for The Lion King at some point, waaayyyy after the movie had come out, those ones are on UA-cam as well
Now you need to check out the prequel, Monsters University!
I second this. It’s one of the most underrated Pixar movies
the fact they send randell to Florida is wild lol
Celia (Mike’s gf) voice actress is Jennifer Tilly from the chucky /child play franchise
Since Incredibles came out I always thought Violet was Boo. Randall going invisible and a blue/ purple force field is too much of a coincidence for her powers, especially given the well to do room that famed Supers in hiding could afford. The 60's style decor of Incredibles following the 50s of Monsters Inc also tracks, and it also jives with Violet's character arc in both Incredibles films where she knows she's capable she just prefers hiding... Having a dad that used his super strength on the regular would translate to Boo's comfort around Kitty/ Sully, and a mom and Lucious and how many other Super powers would desensitize her from the various monsters.
I think there is some tie into the Incredibles, because the powers that they attributed to Boo are more like Jack Jack’s powers.
They animated a small scene of the play Mike made up “put that thing back where it came from or so help me.” And they perform it for the employees. It’s pretty funny.
17:46 fun fact for boos voice they literally just followed around a toddler with a tape recorder and put random things she says into the movie😅
The trailer near the end that Randal was sent to, had a pizza planet truck (toy story) and resembles at least the place the ant from A Bug’s Life went to find warrior bugs.
Reminder that Sulley has canonically yeeted the most evil, sadistic and bloodthirsty Keyblade wielder in Kingdom Hearts without breaking a sweat. He GOATed
watching this movie again (mainly the intro) gives me overwhelming nostalgia.. I used to watch it religiously when I was little
You have to check out “Monster’s University” next! It’s the prequel where Mike and Sulley first met in college
To this day, I consider this movie to be one of PIXAR's most creative concepts. I wish they would make a sequel where an older Boo comes back. They could even make her an adult.
However, they did make a prequel, Monsters University, and you should check that one out.
Lookin back at sully, god i never realiaed what a great guy he was. He becomes a serogate dad, he's VERY humble about his role as the best, he's just so unironically wholesome
“See Mikey? *Ted’s* walking to work”
“Big deal, the guy takes five steps and he’s there”
Boo was voiced by a small child so all of it is baby gibberish. The girl's name is Mary Gibbs and she has her own channel here on UA-cam, as well as at least one interview I saw.
