- Replace your fuel pump and filter easily following along! This took me about an hour in total from removal to installation.
The issue being resolved here was a crank but no start issue after the engine would warm up. Feel free to leave any feedback in the comments!

Not a lot of Toyota Solara videos so I appreciate video!! So is that thin white bag the fuel filter? Do you have the oem part number for that? Also what else would you recommend changing down there since your in the fuel tank? Thanks again!
Glad the video was helpful! You'd be correct, the filter is the thin white bag. I don't have the OEM part number, but the aftermarket part number used in this was USEP8727. It only has the pump and filter as opposed to some parts that advertise the entire assembly. Gas mileage definitely saw an increase from 15mpg to about 25-28mpg from the filter and (I'm assuming) failing pump.
As far as additional repairs, you could probably do the gasket as well (don't have the P/N handy for this). I didn't replace it and it hasn't been leaking (180k miles).

Are the 2001 solara have fuel filter in the same location?
very helpful and clear angles as usual!
Hi, My 1999 Camry have a same problem. Can I just change external fuel filter instead of change internal fuel filter? Thank you.
Absolutely, if your car has an external fuel filter instead, you should still be able to see similar benefits by replacing it.

Hopefully that gives you an opportunity to find somewhere that knows how to get to the fuel filter. Best of luck!
