Man this brings Memories Back just finding this guy at the arcade at the movie theater I was just happy to see a guy as powerful as Ryu and Ken that just so happen to be black. Ha!!!
He's mixed race, sadly :( I'm not being racist or anything, but why can't he be pure black like Dudley? Sean is Half Japanese, half Brazilian.

Sean is really fun to play with in the first SF3. Dan plays quite good in Alpha 2.
If they both end up in SF5, you will get your answer.
Whoever play this game is a professional player in every match he wins without losing a single life and gets perfect in every match and using the finishing maneuver as the finishing touch I have to admit I'll raise my cap as a gesture of respect

I really enjoyed playing this game when it was in the arcades. And to this day it has a great deal of nostalgic value for me.

Sean is a monster in this game. With the new information available for New Generation, if you did a redux of this with modern MAME/30th Anniversary you could easily wipe the floor with the AI

NG Sean is incredible! Also, I love Dudley day & night stages and Ryu's stage area change. I wish SFV would do that kind of thing but then again that's asking for a bit much when it comes to 3D, due to loading screens, especially in online.

Sean was so good in this game and 2nd Impact. If they ever put him in Street Fighter V, they should use these versions of Sean's instead of the 3rd Strike one. He was so fun to play in these games! 🙁

Unfortunately Chun-Li does not make an appearance in "Street Fighter III: New Generation" and "Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact - Giant Attack". Fortunately, she makes an appearance in "Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future" and is also playable.
Twelve and Makoto did not make an appearance in "Street Fighter III: New Generation" and "Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact - Giant Attack" either. They were very first introduced in "Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future".

Yes, Sean Matsuda is able to use Ki (a form of energy).
Sean practices the same fighting style as Ryu and Ken; however, due to his inexperience, there are notable differences between his moves and theirs. He even shares different moves than his family's "Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu".
The most notable difference is his projectile known as the "Hado-Burst", which is only available to Sean as his first Super Art.

Sean Matsuda has appeared in 4 games so far.
His very first appearence as a playable character was in Street Fighter III: New Generation and afterwards he appeared in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact - Giant Attack and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future. Sean has also made a cameo appearance in Street Fighter V but unfortunately he was not a playable character.
Sean is trained by Ken Masters.
