- Bit Brigade is a band after our own hearts. They not only perform awesome covers of classic video game theme songs but they have someone onstage doing live speedruns of the game! We first saw this video of the band taken at this year's MAGFest, an East Coast gaming and music festival, on UA-cam user InfiniteBacon's site and were so blown away that we had to ask for permission to repost it. Seen Bit Brigade play this twice now and it's still probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. Seeing the guy tear through Mega Man 2 while these sick renditions of the soundtrack play is a sight to behold for sure.
Probably one of the best things I've seen in UA-cam. My favorite game of all time and IMO the best Mega Man soundtrack too. I know there are other great MM soundtracks with better individual songs, but as a whole this is the best one. Thank you for posting this.

When I was a 4 year old child, I heard the soundtrack to Mega Man 2 for the first time and it gave me a purpose in life; to pursue music composition. To see this played by you gents brought a tear of joy to my eye. Bravo. This is all I ever wanted to do. I feel like I am 4 all over again.

Just saw these guys last night at Nerdapalooza. Easily the best act that night. They floored me with their musicianship and their ability to play fast and keep it up the whole set. Bravo gentlemen.

Absolutely loved the use of Megaman 3's 'Weapon Get' tune for when they picked up item's 1, 2 & 3... Really helped mix it up and made it sound amazing. Best video on the internet right here!!!

When you played the game and got to that stage, you were all hyped up. But that music took you over the top, definitely what I was looking for!

Amazingly awesome. I remember calling the local rental store to reserve this game for me when it became available again.
Might not work as well with the band but I'd love to see guy do it all on hard mode.

Saw these guys at Magfest 11 back in January. They played Castlevania and Contra from beginning to end in about 45 minutes.
The "holy shit" chants were extremely warranted.

My favourite Megaman game is MM3 but i do agree that Megaman 2 had the greatest overall soundtrack. It's fascinating to see how popular MM2 is.
