What an amazing chapter!
Starting off the scene with kade was really emotional. he has never been one to give up on his best friend and never will..
Also my theory about them traversing through afterlife was correct, but everyone is together so that's something interesting. i thought we would get them one by one.
Reading through the lore tablet it has a similarity to the real life mythology in my culture as well. it says if you face an untimely death your soul wanders until it's time to finally go to the final destination. seems like they would traverse through this afterlife and face it's trial and tribulations as well.
also the the city with no faces seems to be ruled by nifara as we got to know by the end. seems like she wasn't able to reach THE END OF ALL THINGS, maybe she needs a realm walker for that so she summoned us?
Can't wait for the next chapter.
Also i realize i made a mistake of not getting the perfect walkthrough so if you want to get a perfect full XP, in chapter 1 select shield skill and dominance. then in chapter 2 at the start select the guide skill. seems like that's all you need for now to get a perfect score. if you don't select dominance and go for befuddle then you need to buy the diamond scene to get the last choice xp while fighting the birds.
or just wait for choices wiki to update and then restart your walkthrough!

So journeying through metaphysical realms, this is a unique twist. I admittedly would've thought these beings would've come for the group at least a few chapters down the line and not this early.
Part of me wonders in our reality if there are multiple afterlives, not just Heaven and Hell, afterlives from all religions and belief systems with perhaps ones the living don't even know about. (This is speculation given that I just don't know, it's something I've wondered about before though.)

I wish I could play Blades of Light and Shadow book 3 but I don't have the vip package.
Also, I think we are going to be traveling into different realms or universe's. In order to get back to the real world we are going to have to defeat Nifara and all the other gods. However, I also wonder if any of the gods will help us along the way.
