IMO wee may have 2 seperate groups now kade cherta willow loola and threep on the living group trying to bring us back and then the OG squad trying escape afterlife. One of the chapters says we have escaped one afterlife but there many others.
As much as I wouldn't like the thought of Raine & his party losing. I believe this challenge is only fair and will give them a humbling experience. Which they all definitely need.
The combat sequence was a lot of fun. Valax needs to find a way to change her dragon form so her vulnerability isn't obvious and exposed. It's RPG 101, when the skeletal being has a glowing center, you hit the glowing center. I'm gonna miss Portia, she was the best guide we could have asked for.
I was also wondering what kind of possibly BAD stuff the old gods could get up to and cause if they're in our bodies. People would be like "the heroes of Morella!" and welcome them but then the gods aren't us and who knows what they could do while they look like us.
I wonder if this has anything to do about what Tyril told us about Nifara in book 2. In book 2 didn't it say that Nifara was an evil elf that liked to rule or control others but she was defeated and executed. However, now we are facing her and the old gods who want to take over our bodies and return to the real world. I think ever since Nifara was defeated she has been planning her revenge and now that we are in the same place as Nifara she wants to return to the real world to take over once again.
