As for the use of Asian instruments in this song, it was meant to be a rebuttal to the haters who claimed BTS had become too westernized. They even performed the song in traditional Korean clothing. One of their new songs, Idol, even has elements of Korean culture in the lyrics and the music video to once again tell off the haters who say they've become westernized and lost sight of their roots.

Joey, you’ve encouraged me to start paying attention to the musical accompaniment of BTS’s music. It’s so easy to get lost in the colors, the choreography, the lyrics of the music videos. But to really listen to the music has been just as interesting. So thanks!
exactly that's why i love this song so much cuz the music itself is worth paying a lot of attention too. our boys did so well in both lyrics and music this time
Suga (one of the three rappers), composes 90% of the groups music. They all work together on the lyrics but Suga makes the tunes. All credit to Suga for the sweet tunes!
"its okay not to know things"...absolutely right...we are all learning so much with BTS....and I gotta say I am loving the intro to your new song...will b jamming to it once it drops...
I really like how you react to them and I think 90% of their songs are literally made by BTS or the guys you are reacting with because the three rappers in DDAENG are producers or composers so basically they composed it and just seek help to their company but they don't just tell any people to make their music because they make their own music even Jin ( one of the members ) contributed to make music and yeah...no fake coming from their mouth :) 💜
I also appreciate you being humble and admitting you dont know the instruments and saying its ok to not know everything. No one knows everything and we can all learn from each other. Keep up the good work man.

And no haha 😂😂😂 well even if i did idc its worth it 💜
Thank you for this sincere reaction and i wanted to tell you personally that its amazing to see you (a producer) learn throught their music as well , like thats how music should be sharing new experiences and seeing new things i am sure they as producers would enjoy all your reactions and even your works this is one of my favorite songs of them so i really waited for this reaction and i am happy about it~
So thank you so much , Really ~
Pls react to rm- joke plsssssssssss😭😭
i will at some point, i def will!!!
Yesssssssss
Just a side note: "Joke" is heavily sampled (Run The Jewels "Oh My Darling") so you might prefer to analyze the rapping more than production, bc RM changes flows like a dozen times. I personally prefer his song than the original.
@@MsMidorino Yep it's a sample.
Joey (Lucky Boy) Nato the song is heavy sampled so idk if u really want to react to it , RM rap is amazing tho
WHEN HE STARTED "DEFENDING" HIMSELF AS A PRODUCER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg we luv u
I love your reactions Joey. This was so fun to watch. Pretty sure ARMY pranked you with this, we love to show off the rapline.
You should react to Cypher's pt 1, 2, 3 and 4 you're gonna love it
btw nice video, thank you for opinion
They work super hard and they really care about their craft, they inspire me so I love reacting to them!!!!
it's just amazing, thank you❤
i recommend you see this video, here they explain about the meaning of the song ua-cam.com/video/fdJl1SL03Ac/v-deo.html
and this other video, it's like a behind the scenes of the song and part of its preparation for its presentation(with English subtitles) ua-cam.com/video/pcRyT7IpG2M/v-deo.html
pd: sorry if it's too much 🙈
BRUHHHH RM's STUTTERING....WILL FOREVER BE ICONIC TO ME
HOPEANTONIO xxx Indeed
"Whoever mixed these deserves a raise"
I laughed a bit bc they produced it themselves (like majority or their songs but i believe this one was almost like 98% done by Suga, RM and J Hope)
Only Suga produce this song. Rm n jhope write their part
I thought youd enjoy this because its way out there compared to what youd hear on the western radios (i live in europe my self ) and i love how they mix traditional instruments and style with rap. So didnt recommend to school but rather for you to hear something interesting and different that could be fun for you :) really like your reacts keep it up i learn alot from you!
You should react to Tear from bts next 😏
9:22 (click the video on the right)
@@JoeyLuckyBoyNato 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽 Sorry lmao
@@AMIAHSTAR12345 it's all good lol
That true I want see what U say
Don't Leave Me is a Japanese BTS song. I think you will enjoy it production wise. No traditional instruments in that one lol :)
Producer Suga is very talented❤️🥰
you're so cute all flustered 😂 i really like how fast you pick up all the sounds! (i don't know the instruments either so imma just enjoy it lmao)
btw i'm excited for your new song!! 💖💖
Everyone say thank you to Suga for produced Ddaeng and J Pearl for Co-produce it too ! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this one!!!❤
I'll never get tired of seeing this reaction.
you should do a rapper reaction to one of the cyphers
Yes i 100% agree 🔥🔥🔥
I think Cypher #3 would be great!
alessandra ruiz yEss
Yes!!
Yep
Hey Joseph.. No worries.. everyone was surprised as well..
This just proves that BTS is so diverse in their music..
They never stop challenging themselves..
And yes..they flaunt their swag in a very unique way..
Looking forward to seeing more of BTS reactions..
And before I forget..try reacting to their old song.. N.O. ..It's a good one. Thanks man.
Haha... PRICELESS REACTION. ♥️
next please react to SPRING DAY by BTS
Whoever mixed this deserves a raise:
GIVE YOONGI A RAISE YOU HEARD HIM
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Joey, you’ve encouraged me to start paying attention to the musical accompaniment of BTS’s music. It’s so easy to get lost in the colors, the choreography, the lyrics of the music videos. But to really listen to the music has been just as interesting. So thanks!
Ey! Notification squad? HAHA Thanks for reacting bro 💕
thank you for being here!
this time your reactions is soo funny! XD. when Hobi face pop up and say 땡(DDAENG)! ㅋㅋㅋ
Actually Ddaeng is a song which you would have to pay attention to the lyrics more
Thank you for the reaction 💜
exactly that's why i love this song so much cuz the music itself is worth paying a lot of attention too. our boys did so well in both lyrics and music this time
Suga (one of the three rappers), composes 90% of the groups music. They all work together on the lyrics but Suga makes the tunes. All credit to Suga for the sweet tunes!
Please react to BTS “NOT TODAY” and “Lie” 😭😭😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥
Both of those WILL HAPPEN!!!!!! just wait on it. I cant wait either!!
It also has a huge meaning behind it, amazing word play. They make ddaeng mean so many different meanings, it's so cool.
Yes bts!
Now Vixx: Shangri la is also traditional!!
I really enjoy your channel
This song is full of asian elements..it is quite natural not to know..well being in asia i dont know what they used..yes thats a hard hitting truth..
But i think it is cool you reacted to it cz its an incredible song and i think you definetly gonna search what sounds all thoses 😄 cz this music gets hooks up in brain for so damn looong.. 😅
I'm so glad I found your page. Because of you I'm listening to parts of BTS music that I never paid attention to. Most reactioners just focus on the voices. So I'm loving what I'm learning from you by listening to what's going on in the music. It's giving me an even greater appreciation for what they do. Love you man.....Keep it up.
The track is produced by j pearl, RM, suga and jhope! Your reaction made my day, you are so funny! Thanks for the reaction :)
I thought it was just Suga and Jpearl who produced it. I think RM and JHope helped write the lyrics, not produce the music.
Stop spread false information the main producer is yoongi and j pearl help him
@@Deena958 You're right yoongi is the main producer and j pearl co- producer
I really love your professional analysis on the BTS music in terms of realizing me why I liked the musical instruments of their songs, not just by the fact that I love BTS as a premise.
Support you Joey, I love RM's Voice
Give it to me also have really different types of instruments like a harp, violon, a church bell? I think? idk, all I know is Yoongi is really creative and doesn't give us the typical pop/Kpop sounds with his music
You should really react to BTS *I NEED U* which gave them their first win
A producer of this song is Suga, a member of BTS!
*FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BROTHER*
I love your reactions to BTS! Helping army understand the songs better by the production helps to appreciate the songs more. Thank you for looking at their work. Can’t wait to hear your new song also!
Can I just say that I'm happy with your reaction to Ddaeng cause you ain't faking anything and be like some of those people who say random stuff just to show viewers that they know what they're saying but they don't.
Keep doing you, bro! Highly appreciate your videos!
im waiting for this 🤙 thank you for reacting 😊
I LOVE ur REACTIONS!!! U CAN TELL U ACTUALLY ENJOY THIS! U ACTUALLY ARE A PRODUCER WHO KNOWS WHAT U R SAYING!! MANY THANKS!!!
You gotta react to Not Today, Fire and Spring Day
Its also good to note that this was a free song they put on soundcloud for the fans. There is a small video online where you see them mixing a d producing and practicing
6:09-6:13 - is me during my first listen to Ddaeng. 😂😂😂 That's it joey is my new spirit animal there I said it
Your channel it's growing so fast. I really see why.
You're different to the other reactors, even if u don't know the instruments, your comments are still interesting, plus you're funny, so your reaction is always good. Thank u.
Oh, and welcome to the BTS world , where everything can break your head in a few seconds, literally.
Sounds like a homework~ 😂😂😂 btw, joey I BELEIVE YOU ARE REAL MUSIC PRODUCER. 😂💕💕
I love how shocked you get by bts' songs omg thank you so much, I enjoy your videos a lot and you make me learn a lot of things of their songs in which I didn't pay attention before!
YES you are one of my fav reactors
This was so much fun to watch!! Loved your reaction.
Also, 7:08, is how I feel everytime I listen to anything from BTS- shook af :P
6:37 I love Joey Nato you guys 💖
I had chills the whole video. They cannot be more fantastic
I love your video, next one is Save ME by BTS pls 💓
Btw suga is producer this song.. Suga win an award producering other singer in song"wine".. And also most of the music are producing by themself(whether, suga, RM, jhope, and probably jungkook, jimin, v, jin) even also with the song lyrics which is from their heart, their messsage, their mind, their soul.. The bang PD are the one choose whic lyyric, music can be use, mic and etc... Well am really Enjoy how your honest reaction, especially when you are honesly a bit confuse or amaizingly "touch" by the instrument.. Keep on track to react all bts mv... Awaiting next your bts reaction 👍😎😎
LMAO your rant about not knowing the instruments.. calm down... We understand bro...
The teaser for your song is good tho.
He's too worried about it. Its such a small.thing they are instruments they are way different in sound but they are still either percussion, wood wind or etc
I still LOVE this reaction 💜💜💜 I get so tickled seeing you frustrated identifying the instruments.
I know you can hear and identify so many little sounds and give really good explanations that’s why I keep coming back to watch your videos. 🤗
The biggest sin about Ddaeng is that they didn’t put it on iTunes 😢
That unexpected beginning tho...
I was like: "Am I on the right channel?"
i dont know if anyone has said this yet, but i love the way you analyze sounds and imitate them ?? it helps me find exactly what you’re hearing and it makes the production analysis so much better! even if you dont know the instruments you still imitated them so we get a rough idea of what you’re hearing,, i find that so tight and just wanted to highlight it hehe
i more like it because you are so real..
