I have that exact same scarifier. I have had it for about 3 years now. It's great for pulling up dead grass, etc. and while not aeration, it's good enough and definitely helps if you are doing a complete lawn renovation (killing everything off and starting over) or over seeding.
Dethatching is my favorite thing to do, soooo satifiying!! Also scalping at the beginning of the season. I have zoysia.
Great video, your yard looks beautiful. I also have a sunjoe and quickly learned to remove that tiny basket, lol. I have a Works string trimmer/edger. It's okay, but I am afraid I'll hurt myself with a gas trimmer😊. Have a great day!
We also have the SunJoe machine, and love it. I use a Worx trimmer, but my hubby uses a gas one when he does the yard. The gas one is too heavy for me, and I do like the Worx trimmer with a caveat. The spool covers break pretty easy so I always keep extras on hand. U can buy a pack of two on their website which is where I get mine, and they’re fairly inexpensive. They also come with free trimmer spools for life (pack of several, but can’t remember exact number), and u only pay the shipping which is $9.99. Just wanted to share what helps me. Happy gardening!! ❤
Idk why they made it so small that is literally my only complaint. Otherwise I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!! I can't believe I waited 2yrs to open the box.🤦🏾♀️ I have a cordless Ryobi string trimmer I've used over the years the string runs out so fast but I love how lightweight it is! I'm going to give the vevor one another try without the roller guide🙏🏾
Hey Jess, I purchased the de thatching machine last Sept. I used it and planted fall seeds. My lawn is so lush and green now.
Hey Ruby!! Isn't it amazing how just 1 treatment makes all the difference?? I did the same (by hand) in the fall of 2018 & the results coming out in Spring 2019 were amazing lushness!! I was hooked LoL 💚💚💚
Gardening intimidates me but this might be the first year I actually get outside and try to take care of my lawn and flower beds. Your videos are so motivational
