That's a nice place. And the outdoor space and laundry area is an added bonus. The music in the video overpowered your voice and was a bit distracting. Are you able to lower it for future videos, so you can be heard more?
@@cleanwithallison you're welcome! I said added bonus, because a lot of apartments don't have in-unit laundry. It'll be in the basement of the building or in a neighboring building. The two previous apartments that I lived in was an example of that. It's so convenient having it in the unit though. No lugging clothes from here to there. Enjoy your new space!
Generally when there is an overhead switch but no overhead light, one of the outlets is wired to the switch so you can still turn on a lamp by the door. A bit of trial and error will tell you which outlet then you can just make sure a lamp uses that outlet.

I have a floor lamp, I used the over head switch one time & the next day it stopped working 😩
