He shouldn’t need to call a timeout. Just let the team get a final shot, either make it or go to overtime. It’s completely Cade’s fault for shooting too early. Cade has to be more aware of what he’s doing.

Every player good enough to be in the nba knows not to do that in that scenario, especially a point guard. He needs to be smarter. Hopefully he learned a lesson from that possession.

Probably means there were many opportunities to win the game and one possession doesn't tell the whole story. It's not a good coach move to throw a player under the bus, look at Doc Rivers. Why shoot with 12 on the clock why not 3 on the clock cade cant be that stupid hes in the nba you either miss at the buzzer and force overtime or win it lies at monty williams feet to be yelling and reminding cade on the floor of the situation miami had all day for their final shot which was a bad shot 5 feet behind the line miami got lucky bam is not a 3 point shooter
Whistle seems to have been way more fair since Monty finally stood up for his team and called out the league a few weeks ago.

Yeah I agree. The training wheels are off when they let burks and bogy go. Cade has a high enough iq to know that and you can’t put that on Monty.

It's easy to be lucky when the other team hands you chances to win the game.
Sure Cade IQ on that last possession could of been better but let's look at the positives... Cade had 17&9 which is all that matters
