    Had an abandoned, overgrown house at the entrance to our neighborhood. Used the same reasoning you did for never working on it myself. Finally got fed up one day and spent a few hours working on it pro-bono. It felt like half the neighborhood stopped by to thank me, give me a thumbs up, or honk and wave on the way past. Such a good feeling!

      I got one of those types next to me..some cuts the grass..I decided to get the weeds down in the front(they were tall)..then cut up the pine trees, one of the trees was getting into the facia, cut thst branch amd someothers, then there supposedly was a garage in the back amd it got taken down now there is ass load of weeds, some high, some small... I managed to get that down.. (a little)..I asked for a little compensation still waiting ( I mean I am using gas)...so.far nothing
      .so.i stopped...i mean I would even take a 50 (or higher) gift card....nope nothing...but the neighbors were like holy s @&!..that's the best it's looked in 25 yrs.the mail person was like wow...

    I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

      Here in The Netherlands you can "adopt" one or more roundabouts. You as company do the maintenance or hire a lawn care company to do that for you. You can put signs of your company on the roundabout. Of course there are also a lot of lawn care companies who have adopt a roundabout.

      Many of the lawn services who post videos here apparently don't use #GoatVacMachines? They are used here by many lawn services especially on commercial properties. I hate those guys who blow their debris into the street. It's like let the city street sweepers get it. I'd rather see them blow their grass clippings and sand into a catch basin. 😠

    I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this. But you put the clippings in other peoples yards for the city to pick up? I would be super worried about doing that. Wherever you place the clippings. It's going to stress the grass and possibly kill it. I don't think what you did is legal and you might piss someone off, and just because of that I would have bagged it and hauled it off.

    What did you use to make that blower vac adapter to trash can instead of the bag? Looks good for leaf cleaning.

    Instead of ruining your trimmer blades use a weedeater. Many times you sunk them into the ground. Great way to ruin a pair. Otherwise looks great!

      I am curious, have you ever cut juniper with a string trimmer?

    You did a great job.Whats up with the tarps on the roof of the house right across from you?The hurricane go through your area?

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  4 роки тому

      Haha, good catch! He had some litigation with the roofer who installed his roof years ago. Got another company to put a tarp on to mitigate damage in the mean time. That was years ago. It decomposed over that time span pretty quickly.

    Do the sprinklers work? Also, that entry could be a lot nicer with a little color. Thanks for the video. You did a super nice job.

      They do! There is a timer on the backside of the entrance sign (the side closest to the shrubs I trimmed). Agreed about the color, but that would probably involve more maintenance! :(

    I'm only allowed one "thumb's up"?
    You deserve two from each and a warm pat on the back for that, sir.
    Well done! Maybe it will inspire someone else to add some plantings with color?

      I wouldn't object, but it probably would mean more maintenance!

    whats the name of those plants you trim at 1:00 that are hanging over the curb? Nice work. I see "professionals" leave them sprawling everywhere onto the driveway, lawn etc, the way I see it everything in the mulched area should be contained to the mulch area.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  4 роки тому

      They are juniper. They make a great ground cover if you like the way they look. Thanks for watching!

    Just wanting to know do you fix the irrigation system there in the entrance if you see a head broken etc. Also where is the sprinkler timer for this property entrance.

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  4 роки тому

      Generally I don't fix it, but it depends on what is wrong with it. Best case screw on a new head, worst case dig up to expose piping, cut out damage, join in new. The timer is in the center island.

    Nice video! Can it pick up mulch (colored kind you buy home Depot Lowe’s in bags)? I have artificial lawn and my mulch blows all over it in windy days and blower makes it tougher to get out of blades so wondering if vacuum works better for this and if this can handle it
