It will eliminate itself from the Market due to ridiculous pricing. Kawasaki needs localisation of production too keep price in check.
😂
I agree..it's too expensive
Well said 😂😂😂😂😂
True
Correct! 😂😂😂
Kawasaki deserves the standing ovation of my middle finger for that kind of price for a juiced up Avenger!
Juiced up Avenger? Do you even think before speaking
Now that’s a bit much
Blame the Indian government for the taxes.
Blame the govt taxes that are used to feed our illiterate ministers..
@@rallynfernandes8970 Then why Kawasaki isn't making their bikes in India, moreover this isn't the problem with Kawasaki but with the whole Japanese Brands as neither they're making their products in India nor they're selling their bikes at good price point,
Even if it's a CBU,
then the Question arises as to where this bike coming from as this is built in Thailand but the main Question here is then why they're charging as if these bikes are coming from Japan, when they claim Thailand to be cheaper don't know how if the end product is damn expensive and moreover outdated for the price,
Then again even if they know that they have their product base and sales here then why Kawasaki isn't shifting their manufacturing of not all but some bikes here in India,
either they're reluctant or downright lazy which is leading to properly scam Indian consumers overall,
They should call it 'Self-Eliminator' 😂
Bought 1 about a month ago! Absolutely love it! It's such a great riding bike, so smooth great mid controls seats conformable only thing I changed were the mirrors, Bar end was the way to go
price?
Kawasaki India still living in the early 2Ks
450 cc at this cost needs a comparison , rent, ride, forget if at all it appeals 😅 however personally it gives me goosebumps when tyres are slippery
To be honest, this one is not like the eliminator which launched in India but the actual OG eliminator, Eliminator ZL900, which debuted in 1985 as the competitor of Yamaha Vmax, with a 900cc inline 4. That's why this one has neutral set foot pegs and an inline twin.
Lovely bike… it’s not just one time investment but the cost it sucks through running services…. Kawasaki makes us feel very pricey….. serious riders & buyers who look at buying Kawasaki as a brand would surely look for a higher capacity bike than this….
The Vulcan 650…
Kawasaki bajaj eliminator, still remember that in early 2000s
I used to own a Enticer back in the day. Will never pay 7 to 8 lakh for this bike. We have better street bikes for less than 3L and they will lead the market
Everything is all goodie goodie...but the price ! Too high..! When will they understand and learn !!!
what will we need to do to remove those scratches aur prevent it happening?
For those blaming Kawasaki saying it's priced too high for India, it costs about 5.2L INR in Thailand. So yes, blame Indian taxation.
Seems they planned on selling this in the West, somehow landed in India! When we have stunning motorcycles from RE at 4 lacs, who will go for 7 lacs!
Bandar kya jaane aadi ka swaad
A gem of a bike. Should have been named SELF ELIMINATOR
For seven lakh I would like to have two!
Good one, i think u forgot to show the sound. 😅
Why would Kawasaki bring it to India at this price point when they know it's not gonna sell? But if they did (because they can), then why wouldn't bike brands, including Kawasaki, bring the variety of low price cruisers, maxi scooters, nakeds, etc. available in the International market to India? I just don't understand this deal.
It’s a number game, of course. Where there are big numbers - like the Ninjas for example - they are able to localise the assembly. But for a small segment like the cruisers it doesn’t make much sense, which is why the Eliminator comes in as a CBU import. With this they have simply tried to fill the void between the REs and the Vulcan 650 and hope to get at least two-digit sales per month. As it stands, there are about 15 bookings in the first month.
But in my state assam on road price of this bike is slightly above 6 lakhs rupees.so its not expensive here.your state govt is putting ridiculous amount of road tax on it.on road price of Kawasaki Vulcan s650 is 7.5 lakhs in assam.but fuel average of Vulcan s is around 20kmpl.so eliminator 400 is good option.cause its a faster machine with fully digital console.you won't get fully digital console with Vulcan s650.
Pricing doesn't make sense in front of super meteor
0:31 nice scene Kawasaki Eliminator 175
I think 7 l is the global price it cost 7000€ in Germany or 7000$ in us . The triumph speed 400 cost 5500€ in GER & Us that is roughly 5.2l . I did test ride it for 45 min & it felt like it was on rails really planted ! I did not go above 120 as I had my jet helmet Shoei JO & not good for higher speeds. I think it is a perfect bike for ind if the ground clearance is enough ?
Eliminator mein detonator laga ke uda do, 💥 boom
Looks about average with an over the top pricing! This is definitely DOA
Where is the road to ride these bikes? City is full of traffic and highway is not safe and how many times you can ride on highway...may be once in 4 months
I believe launch price is always high they may lower soon December around would think of buying if it's under 6 .
That exhaust can looks like an eyesore on otherwise interesting design. Also is this the 450/451/500? The reason I am asking is because OD has referred to this bike with all these name. 🤔
But the price, that itself will make it will find very few takers , especially since Kawasaki bikes arent really light on pocket when it comes to servicing and parts
500? Did I say that? It’s a 451cc, is called the Eliminator 450, and is based on the Ninja 400 engine albeit with a longer stroke.
@@rohit_paradkar no no, not on video. I meant on OD website, OD as a whole. I remember the initial reports did says eliminator 450 only. Then atleast one article I read did mention it as 500. That is the only reason I asked..
airfilter mesh of de 200 silenser mit ktm gop pro attachable legs plus mount gaurd
Just dont like the design of the exhaust can. Would have love to see the slim dual pipes thay would go well with the design of the bike. And the rear end or the mudguard resembles Indian motorcycles.
Love the overall design, tank, front portion, headlamps, blinkers on top, retro round Instrument cluster, split seat placement, paint, etc. they all look good. Yes the handlebar could have been better with either a flat roadster type handlebar or tall cruiser type handlebar. The in between form is not the best looking handlebar for this bike.
need to give engine cover it looks ugly from those dual pipes
Good point!
Looks good
Price does not match the Features what it is offering.
Yes. They should have done USDs and USBs at least 😅
Bajaj avenger 400 is getting ready to eliminate this one 😂
7.3 lakh on road Mumbai.... thank you 🙏
kawasaki prices writing cheques that their bikes cant cash.
Kawasaki valkun 650 available in same price and looks heavier and better than this
Vulcan is about 1.5 lakh more. But I get your point and agree with it.
Only if it was under 4 lakh
5 lakh on road was still alright in my opinion.
I will call it overpriced even if they reduce the price by 1 lakh. At one hand they provide z900 at a mouthwatering price and on the other hand offering ninja 400 and eliminator 400 at ridiculous prices.
It could be my first choice if it would have came under 5-5.50 lakh on road..
Its touching almost 7 lakh..
And that is ridiculous..
Nice bike :) Do you know the max load weight for the bike?! Thanx :)
What's with the price?
Super meteor 650 rocks 🎉
Eliminator 1999 model available
Who's gonna buy this when we have super meteor for just under 4 lacs though it puts out 40 bhp, little less but for almost half the price and a lot better design, more premium looks with chrome lines and USD forks and duel exhaust. Much much better looking bike then this, but look is subjective. So I will say mich more premium motorcycle with premium parts.
4.75 to 5 lac is the ideal price 7 lac is too much wide options are there in the market
For 3.5 l on road we have Scrambler 400x, Svartpilen 401, Himalayan 452. One can buy 2 bikes instead of this not so cool bike. The speedometer and suspension looks so bad for the price point. Kawasaki Vulcan will only eliminate the eliminator 😂
Offers value? All it offers in nuisance value :) . It should be priced at the most 4-4.5 L. So should be the Ninja 400.
I dont get it !why would they not put a BELT DRIVE ON THIS BIKE ..FOR US OLD FARTS ..😊
Eliminator vs 502c
Eliminator, hands down.
Kawasaki needs to take India seriously and start locally manufacturing the bikes at least the 400cc class no one's buying 400cc basic ass bike for 7 lakhs
Not for 7 lakh rather I go for hero maverick, it doesn't look premium
Buying a second hand Harley would be a better option.
Ahem. I wouldn’t dare do that at the moment looking at how Harley-Davidson is going.
Yes
Bikes like this one open up the cruiser segment for folks like me who can't lift a heavier bike. I occasionally get to borrow a friend's kitted-out Harley Dyna Superglide. All 750 lbs of it. This Eliminator 450, with forward pegs / windscreen / luggage / crash bar / etc could be a very cute fuel-efficient cruiser. The only things I'm liking better about the RE Super Meteor 650 are the looks and the ease of doing valve adjustments. The fact that it's 500+ lbs is a distinct negative to me however.
@@suzyamerica4679 I’m just back from riding the Shotgun 650 - a sportier take on the Super Meteor. Quite like it. But the Eliminator makes the Shotgun feels heavy and a lot of work.
@@rohit_paradkar Exactly. And I'm not getting any younger these days .. it's nice to have a bike I can pick up easily myself. I am already comfy riding that big borrowed Harley on gravel/dirt roads .. but there are so many more places I would explore if my twin-cylinder highway bike were light enough for me to pick up alone. Otherwise I have to ride a 250cc thumper long distance to get to those places.
It's a joke! Would cost more than 8lac in Karnataka! Why would I spend so much on this... by the way how come no one spoke about the really bad weld on the numberplate holder? How come they could not afford to use one piece of metal instead of welding in the middle 😛
Forget it... what is kawasaki's idea about india and indian consumers ? Surely they don't know much.
Now that’s harsh. Don’t forget how well-priced their CKD bikes are - the Ninjas, the 650s, the 10R 🤷🏽♂️
Kawasaki do not want to sell bike's in India
7 lacs.... WTF. Not a single will be sold
kawasaki india is not allowed to design bikes, so they show all of their talent in sari guard and no. plate holder
Cruiser with sportbike engine. Pass
khudko eliminate karneki Ninja technique
😂😂😂
too expensive, i will not bike. Dont like the silencer, the shocks , pretty cheap stuff, but very high price, even though it is not a CBU
Predator
7 lacs betr go for triumph
Get both Triumphs 😂
7 lakhs is too much
There is nothing for 7 L here.
Kon lega bhai itna mehenga
15 log miley hai abhi tak
Good luck selling that😅
Poor camera angles... 👎🏻
7 lakh ? .....😮 Nope
The original Kawasaki eliminator was a powerful bike for its time. This is as bad as Yamaha remaking the R7 as a weak little 700cc twin. Shame on Kawasaki.
Well this too is very powerful for a 450cc cruiser. Blows the REs and the likes of the 502c out of water as far as performance is concerned.
Too costly
No
Ghanta value.... 😅😅
Nooooooo
That has got to be the ugliest looking exhaust pipe.
Nobody in their right mind gonna toss their hard earned money on a dumb machine like this. Kawasaki must raise their standards. Kawasaki smoking cow dung thinking they are smoking marijuana. It's their fault of product doesn't sell. It's 2024 already the odo is too outdated, No GPS, no adjustable shocks and levers. Kawasaki is living in 2016 while the world is moved on to 2024 😂. If we complain, we get called "Ungrateful" 😁🤌. And The price? It's laughable. I'd rather buy 2 latest Himalayas from RE and rent them out and make more money from it than but this old tech junk they are selling to modern young customers in the market. What a shame and a lame game by cow-asaki 👎
Odd look, nobody will be interested
Kawasaki's 450cc>RE Chewing gum Stuck 🐕💩 648cc Air-cooled furnance. Hell, With VFM pricing, Bring on new products and try lowering the cost and manufacturing in India. Plz, Show a big F off for Jawa/Yezdi/RE/KTM/Unrefined 🐕💩 European bike companies which simply blow their cylinder head, high maintenance costs, low fuel efficiency, No high revving Engines, No refinement, Sounding like a tractor, Vibrators on 2Wheels.
The moment you said 7 lacs rupees, I ended watching it 😢😅
I hear you 😊
No .... Never..... That much money what they are thinking?
An Easter egg worth mentioning for whatever it is worth.. Kawasaki has brought back the original Eliminator's engine back in a BS6 V2 avatar as well in the W175!!!
For that price one can buy a Super Meteor 650 and still have money to buy a Classic/Meteor 350. 😢
Bajaj Soon be building a new bike with 450 cc engine
Eliminated😂
After Launch of several brands like Harley and Triumph At low price eliminator will not sustain in Indian market.
7 lakhs on-road for this.... Forget it man
7 lakh sun ke dil baith gaya
I like my Eliminator but why do they want $260.00 for frame sliders. Virtually no worthwhile accessories out there. If something doesnt give soon will be getting rid of it and go to Yamaha or Honda
Kawasaki accessories are usually quite pricey. I’m sure you will find some aftermarket options though from the likes of R&G, Puig etc.
Check out the Evotech frame sliders that are compatible with the Honda CB650R. They should fit into the frame right below/behind the radiator. Round shape too, so shouldn’t mess with the appearance of the bike.
@@rohit_paradkar will do, ty
@@rohit_paradkar will check it, ty
@@rohit_paradkar T-Rex Racing makes excellent aftermarket stuff like that. Reasonable prices. I have their crash cage on my gen1 Versys 650.
An Easter egg worth mentioning for whatever it is worth.. Kawasaki has brought back the original Eliminator's engine back in a BS6 V2 avatar as well in the W175!!!
Noooo freakin wayyy i would buy that one...not in a thousand years😠
If it was Rs 5L on road I would buy it. I think Kawasaki's top management is not in sync with the Indian market realities.
Way too expensive for what you're getting. Shame on you Kawasaki!! Love the bike but my money will be going to another company for more bike for less $$$.
4 lakhs and it would eliminate all other cruisers in its segment.High price will do no good for its comeback.
For that price i'll go for CBR650R anyday, If not then Z900.
Bullet looks great will forever
In ₹ 7 Lac I would buy RE Super Meteor 650 + Alto 😂😂
Too costly compared to its contemporaries.
In 7 to 8 lacks i can get pre owned Fat boy😂
5 LACS would have been killer
ranger swing seat cos 'um dehat und heat raps is mod i wud do... cos pillon i don care bc
Probably it will eliminate Kawasaki from India!!
People blaming Kawasaki for pricing ought to blame the Indian government for the most ridiculous automotive taxation in the world.
