I have this and have a ulcer above my ankel that hasn't healed for 2yrs and 2 mo ths because these Dr's at these hospitals and I've been to know nothing
If your in the UK you can now get venous insufficiency cured, but do count on the NHS to do this, you will have to pay at a private vein clinic.I have been through it all and now cured. The NHS will only have you going back and forwards putting you in compression the rest of your life, like this ‘well meaning person’ is telling you to do 🤦🏻♀️
Venous insufficiency can now be cured but do count on the NHS to do it they’ll have you going back and forwards to a leg ulcer clinic keeping you in compression bandages.
Treat the underlying cause instead of just managing with all this ridiculous bandaging crap. It’s got nothing to do with diet or smoking or lifestyle. Please NHS Stop spending 2 to 3 billion a year on ‘just managing’ venous ulcers and spend more money on treating the underlying cause.
Yes, the underlying issue should be looked into why patients get ulcers. But it isn't ridiculous that Tissue Viability Nurses, private clinics, hospitals, etc highly recommend compression. You're an idiot to think bandages are a waste of time because you're wrong. Compression via bandages help the viens to compress and work properly. If you don't wear any compression, you'll never get the ulcer to heal. Regarding Diet. It does have some cause on the healing of ulcers. You could even take vitamin D and C, and zinc to help the healing process.
Just for clarity and as positive feedback, just means if you trim extraneous fat a loss of viewers is less likely, and I dunno if it's your accient, or inconsistent tone change as delivered making it appear as longer than needed. I heard in the background my friend said " why can't she get on with it?' prompted 1st comment. Ha, talk of verbosity, dig this comment, not sure if I coulda shortened it. Thanks for video and peace.
