What a heap of hyperbole !!!
Varicose vein treatment such as laser ablation , following wound care on the ulcer and compression until the ulcer heals followed by compression socks

I always use for a venous ulcer is a compression stocking with a bandage underneath with some zinc oxide on it. Hard to get stocking on with that bandage but it works for me. Takes a while to heal approx.6~8 weeks depending on size of it . Usually it’s on inside of my ankle . But it worked for me .

I had a venous ulcer which our UK NHS just kept managing for eight years with lotions, potions, cream, medical honey and compression. I eventually referred myself to an internationally renowned Consultant Professor of Vascular Surgery and Consultant Phlebologist and had EVLT together with TRLOP followed eight weeks later with Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy at his clinic in London in 2018. I haven’t looked back since and it was the best money I ever spent. No more compression since.
