What's going on guys? This is VinylicPuma, back with another Borderlands 2 countdown video and today, I figured we could go over 10 of what I think are some of the Best, or rather Coolest Gun and Weapon Changes that are featured in the recently released(updated?) Borderlands 2 Reborn Mod for PC. Overall, I've gotta say that I like a bunch of the Weapon mods that were featured as a part of the Borderlands 2 Reborn mod and I think these 10 Replacements in particular are some of my favorites.

Fun fact - the Oneshot seems to be based on a heavy weapon by the same name from Gears of War 3, which also slows your movement speed and has a one-shot magazine, but shreds 99% of the game's enemies in one shot.

Love the reference with the midnight coup.
The Midnight Coup is based on a weapon of the same name in Destiny 2. Both revolvers. Same color scheme, high fire rates. And the flavor text I think comes from Destiny 2 as well.

Well to be fair the best sniper in Warframe is a shotgun.
@@tylerwaynes2107 What about battlefield 3 and 4 shotguns? You can make a usas-12 fire explosives rounds with great range, or a 870-mcs with slug and a 8x scope is a pump action sniper

Well to be fair in real life buckshot has a range of around i think 20 to 30 meters birdshot have a longer range of 40

I feel like both BL2 and BL3 missed the opportunity to bring back more BL1 legendaries and Pearlescents (Crux, Violator, Bessie, Thanatos etc.)

The Midnight Coup is a Destiny 2 hand cannon that is a drop from its first raid. The Leviathan. And till this day, the gun is still used vastly by Destiny 2 players.

Idk if it's because you don't play with the UCP normally in your videos but I was kinda shocked to hear what you said about the Landscaper considering (correct me if I'm wrong) BL2 Reborn runs off the UCP. It got buffed a fuckton in the most recent versions of the patch *and* gets grenade damage bonuses. It actually kicks ass on Axton now, which for one of the most infamously bad weapons in the base game, that says a lot

I'm a little surprised the Chroma wasn't a replacement for the emperor smg.
seemingly a stupid decision or personal agenda. i hope he fixes this, else this mod is probably of no interest for a lot of people.

Maybe it is because i/people like the weapon? nice skin, interesting shooting patter, nice effect and overall good. gosh.. aggro kiddies these days.
and no, it is not supposed to "break the meta", it is to re/introduce weapons that are more fun and just due to how the mod author does things, he replaced weapons that have no real use in the game (instead of adding new ones) except for the chroma.

Pretty sure the Midnight Coup is a reference to a Handcannon in Destiny 2...specifically the one of the exact same name obtainable from the Leviathan Raid. This weapon's red text says "The conspirators were too afraid to kill me - rightly so." while the one from Destiny 2 goes further: "The conspirators were too afraid to kill me - rightly so. I am the beloved father of the people, and the glorious mob would not suffer my death. My sentence was exile."
This weapon's colors are also pretty much the same...black grip and lower frame with a white upper frame and barrel with gold stripes around the barrel.

Idk if this is too late to tell you, but literally a few hours after watching your 10 weapons that should never drop; I'm on Xbox One on The Handsome Collection, and I opened a red chest and found a non elemental Hyperion spiker pistol. I'm not lying. I can provide proof

Do you still get the Hive by farming Saturn in BL2Reborn? Cuz I've been farming him for a very long time and haven't gotten a single one.
To be honest I kinda like the Landscaper now ...
.... after I modded its firing pattern to a relatively tight triangle with two grnades always hitting dead center.
I think my favourite weapon from this mod has to be bedrum :)

I wonder if they named the Chroma off of the Chimera from Borderlands 1 cause it had a chance to proc all of the elements?
I didn't even think of that when I made it, I was thinking of Captain Planet and rainbow memes.

@Furious Archer Politics As long as you disabled the "Railgun" in Reborn and used BLCMM to add the Bessie in, should work.
Aaron0000 is there any way I could use a BL2 Vanilla version of the Grog Nozzle without disabling BL2Reborn mod entirely so I could keep the original lifesteal healing values? Also I’m new to the PC version of BL2 and am not sure if using a save editor would allow this without messing anything up?

Funny how Draco in this modpack is explicitly described having poor accuracy AND being a "recreation" of bl1's glitched Draco. But.. the one in bl1 is very much one of the MOST accurate of its weapon type but has quite low firerate aswell.
Why not replace the emperor or another less used weapon? i would have installed it, but i dont want to loose the sandhawk, so as long as this is like that, thats a no-go mod for me, too bad.. :/
For me my favorite replacement is the conference call replacement

Coo (coup) is a forceful overthrowing of a leader, typically in regards to politics.
So, I designed a Pearlescent Jakobs pistol kinda like the Midnight Coup. It has burst fire all the time but it starts with 1 shot and adds 1 shot to the burst until you have to reload. What do you guys think?
What is the difference between the Borderlands 2 Reborn mod and Community patch?

The Community patch is pretty much what BL 2 should of been (Makes the game feel a bit more balanced) while the reborn mod changes quite a bit of BL 2.
Still gotta say for me number 1 has gotta be the "godspeed" relic I mean *500% movement speed!!* Do I really have to say more? ;)

Right now testing this mod with OP8 Characters i already had. Nad its fun yeah but, on op8 it kinda feels harder then only the ucp patch.
Can u make some videos with Character builds and also weapons shown for characters like gaige axton and maya (maybe krieg too).
Also thought of changing op lvl. It kinda sucks a little that u most of the time only need 2 hits to get in fight for ur life. Feels kinda unbalanced -.-

Do raid bosses in Reborn still require 4 people or are they nerfed so they could be taken down by 1?
You can take down any raid boss solo in vanilla but I would say better weapons make it easier

What if the Chroma is a reference to Warframe since in Warframe, Chroma has the ability to change element based on the energy.
Can you grab these weapons by using save editor with the code of its original version in vanilla?
