Well, even though frustrating for you, I did get a good laugh at your bike stand problems. And the accentuating video clips to express your exasperation. I also enjoyed previous videos of your camping breakfast experience. I don’t own an eBike yet. Thought I was sold on a Pedego, but this Aventon looks like a better value. Thanks for the cleaning demo.
I've watched your channel a few times. I'm going to subscribe. I love that you got Tom McDonald on this video. Love it! Sending you good energy and positive vibes. Bless up
I got a 50 pound fatbike and a real super cheap stand I'm at the limit on. I find it easier to hang the bike from the seat post. Supposedly experts say this is safer for the bike as well.
Sems like the seat post would be closer to the center of gravity. Being tail heavy it pried the clamp open. Sure it will want to slide on the SP but it will stop at the top. I'm skeptical about the stand and a bike you can hardly lift AND maneuver at the same time. Good way to hurt your back. Ask me how I know. Nice bike BTW.
I leave the front wheel of my e-bike on the ground when I use my stand. Keeps some of the weight off the stand and it's way more stable. I have a Park stand and my bike isn't quite as heavy as yours. Even with the lighter bike and a very heavy duty stand it's still sketchy with that much weight on the stand. I'm looking at a bike shop quality pro stand to solve my problem($800+).
Haha, well I was just stupid in how I was trying to attach it. Once I figured out how to attach the Aventon with that bend in the bar, it was all good and secure. Its tough there are only so many heavy duty stand options out there. No damage. Thanks for watching!
I have the Ramblas, which is a bit lighter - especially with the battery out. I just got this bike stand also but want to ensure it NEVER falls out, especially while I'm working on it. Is the frame the best location to attach an ebike? Is the post still the best for these heavier bikes? Mine isn't that heavy at around 44lbs without the battery.
Top tube isn’t actually spec’ed for a lot of weight and pinching… some physics friends worked the math for me, and the seat post is engineered to handle a LOT more weight than the top tube. Our butts do a lot more than the bike in a stand on the seat post. I use both my Aventons in my Park Tool 10.3 stand, even elevated and rotated. I take batteries out, but that’s so I can swivel them upside down if I want. Also, if you have a dropper tube make sure it’s fully extended before putting it in a stand. 🤘🏾
I turn on active noise so I can hear everything even more than normal. Also always have an eye on the mirror. Always be safe, though. Thanks for watching.
@@Zainenn I use open ear buds. The ones I got are called bose open sport. There are others thst are more comfortable. Also got this thing called garmin varia radar u might find interesting.
Lol, oh its there, just hidden behind some editing. Thanks for watching, I hope you watch my 2nd most recent video, its Round 2 of this cleaning battle lol.
I love cloud 9, great seat. It does make a bit of noise but my bum appreciates the comfort. I go over all my accessories in the previous video. Thanks for watching!
Your stand sucks. I drove a 5/8 inch threaded tod into the grount d. Enclosed it in a 1X 3 inch metal channel\ l., also driven about 18 inches into the ground. Fill the area with wood pieces/ Bikes all mount to that through the grame hole meant for kick stands. Nut and washer below, amother washer and nut above. I use it with e-scooters, e-bikes, bikes and gas mopeds. Besides washing and working v can serve as a test stand. With washing I spend little time, . But the real time saver is using my battery powered leaf blower fro drying. Improvised tools and devices I find better than anything I can buy. I have a RAM Mia 1200 watt e-scooter. Looks much like a Vespa. Also a gas moped with 120 cc 2 stroke engine developing 12.5 HP. Somewhat over the legal limit but police and authorities have no way to check as the engine has no markings. I live in Costa Rica at an altitude of 6740 ft, and many mountains between 30 and 35^ even found one at 41% City speed limits are 20 to 40 KPH, highway is 40 to 60 KPH. The e-scooter will do 56 KPH, the moped 120 KPH. So withe the exxceptions of HWY #1 and #2 and a couple toll roads that ate up to 80 KPH, I'm good. Also unlike in the US most drivers here are 10 to 20 KPH below the posted speed limit. As many plaves the road is not wide enough for two vehicles, especially if one or more is a truck. ua-cam.com/video/gIggyTAZEWY/v-deo.html I added a few features. One of them a 1 meter wide foot rest/crash bar. Two matching back packs to serve as saddlebags/panniers. And a weatherproof mount for my cellphone. Cost of this scooter was $1600 with a 3 year waranty. Battery is 72 Volts/40 AH so has good range peddling or not. Oh, there is a locked out 4th mode that will hive a top speed of 67 KPH. I am looking into unlocking that feature.
Great local trails. I wish had some like that around me. Perfect bike for those trails.
I would turn that clamp 90 degrees and clamp the seat tube (not the seatpost) pretty sure it would work better. Good video

Haha, thanks for watching. Aventon Aventure is great, I love it. I enjoy the editing process, I like to crack myself up too haha.

Wow, I think I will be trying a different bike stand. Also, taking the battery out will reduce the weight. Hope this didn't damage anything.

yeah, i believe the battery alone weights between 8-10 lbs. I definitely notice the difference when i take my battery out of mine.
So, did you hurt the bike any when it fell?
I have the Ramblas, which is a bit lighter - especially with the battery out. I just got this bike stand also but want to ensure it NEVER falls out, especially while I'm working on it.

So dangerous to have earbuds in while riding on the road. Be safe, loving the channel and definitely the music.

Where was the “FUC” when it fell down?
Lol, oh its there, just hidden behind some editing. Thanks for watching, I hope you watch my 2nd most recent video, its Round 2 of this cleaning battle lol.
Don't feel bad I have to learn shit the hard way too.
I also have the Adventure and I see you put the cloud 9 on. What are your thoughts compared to stock?

Thank you for responding. Not sure how I missed it. Definitely enjoy your videos.
Hey great vibe and video....VERY interested in those open toe toe clips you have and where you sourced them from....
You could have removed the battery and reduced the weight on the stand .
Too much unessesry entertainment

Did you take battery out?
Can't you see he didn't!!
