Can you show me how you connect the cables to the amplifier for the method. My confusion is do i need different amplifier for groupings and another for main stereo output?
Good job sir recently joined your channel and have come across this video please me too there are some questions on this video which is not answered. Moreover can you start all over when doing your connections so those that don’t know anything can learn from this channel takes. More on this particular video you said compressor is in our mixer but I don’t know can you please do the video again whiles doing all the connections please. God bless you for helping us too
Thanks so much sir for the wonderful explanation. I would also like to request a way to connect two or more amplifiers to a single mixer. I would really love that. Thanks sir
Thank you ❤. Please can you do a video on connecting drum mics and vocals to mixer, to 1equalizer, to 1crossover and to 1 amplifier, to speakers and get a good sound quality.
Hello Kelvin thanks for your videos. Could you recommend a mixer for my purposes: octophonic speaker setup + subs? Music will be spatialised sometimes through software in Ableton, other times through diffusion. Thank you 🙏
Hi Kelvin, plz can u do a video on how to do a group compression on the MGP32X, i noticed the MGP32X does not have a 'Group Insert' just like u did for this MG32. Thank u
do the individual channels have to be panned HARD left or right, like 100% either way? because even though i have mono sources, i still have some set to different amounts like, synth #1 panned left 20%, guitar panned right 50%, etc.
Great info!! i have a question, i purchased an Yamaha MPG32fx that dont has an foot switch input for muting the fx section when you need to talk without reverb or delay. So my workaround would be to assign the vocal to subgroup 1 , then assign the Fx1 & Fx2 to this subgroup and disable output to main. On the console the subgroup out to an channel and in the insert of the subgroup i attach the foot switch, would that work? cheers from Switzerland
Thanks for the lessons, but when you're running a mono group, and you pan signals which u want to be sent to either group 1 or 2, won't the panning affect the channel in the main mix
Yes, you can. However, you have to be careful with the way the group busses are routed. If you send the vocals to multiple groups and then route those groups to the main output, you might have feedback issues.
Thanks bro..and God bless you.... My own request is to help us shed light on "Direct Output" , "Sub Output" and "2Tr" on Mixer...the functions and what we can actually used them for.... And Also if you dont mind sir... I will love to have your mobile contact sir
2tr or 2-track is mainly to connect to an mp3 player to play music like for preshow. direct out can be used for many purposes, such as connecting all channels to an audio interface separately, duplicating a track, or even to send to a rack unit if you don't have inserts.
I understand sir,but my questions is ,those group assigned,by the time I control group one with its fader, will the effect be felt also on the auxiliaries, or it's only on the main left and right,I will appreciate ur WhatsApp number sir,so I can explain myself with voice notes, thanks sir
@@adamsonstudio7930 Sorry, I didn’t properly understand the question initially. The group bus can only be sent to the main L-R outputs. There’s no way to send it to the auxiliaries, hence, it doesn’t work for auxiliaries. You can chat me up on Facebook messenger or send me a DM on Instagram. Check the “about” session of my channel for links.
Also According to what you explained if you assigned the channel into mono group... Will you be able to pan your input ...E.g toms or background vocals in opposite direction? Please help us out sir
Great! Thanks! You explain things in minutes that takes other reviewers a whole episode to explain- and your explanation is clearer and more logical!
Kelvin....great job again! Explations are excellent. Thankyou so much....Pete.
ps...Love your graphics "intro and exit."
This was exactly what I was looking to learn, thank you SO much! I'm a faithful subscriber and like smasher now
Thank you brother, your explanation is accessible to me who is just learning, but not to simple still keep up educating us newbies :D

Knowledge is good. Thank you for this explanation.

Thank you, Thomas
Great video. You answered two questions I was looking for immediately.
Can you show me how you connect the cables to the amplifier for the method. My confusion is do i need different amplifier for groupings and another for main stereo output?
Internal compressing, good trick. Thanks

Good day brother, I hope you’re well. Is there mixers that have send buttons group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4, instead of Grp 1-2, Grp 3-4?

Thanks for the lessons, but when you're running a mono group, and you pan signals which u want to be sent to either group 1 or 2, won't the panning affect the channel in the main mix
It will. So, you shouldn't send the signal directly to the main mix. Send it to the group bus, and then route the group to the main mix.
Great explanation pal, thanks a lot! Can you recommend entry/mid range mixers which are not trash quality and have group function?
Great job bro
Learnt something new
Sir I wish to ask, those it mean using groups, you don't use the master fader again
Very helpful
I need more videos about the mixer pls
Does the Group function work the same as DCA?
Which function of signal when you use aux
Please How do we use the mono volume for subs
Can I send the lead vocal's mic to multiple groups at the same time without getting any feedback or any issues at all?
Yes, you can. However, you have to be careful with the way the group busses are routed. If you send the vocals to multiple groups and then route those groups to the main output, you might have feedback issues.
Can we give active speaker to group out in the mixer?
Please sir mono mix and stereo mix which one is good please
Thank you Bro ❤️
You’re welcome

Thenx for this bro.
Those that are new in the sound engineering this teachings is very difficult for me to understand without any connections
What is the purpose of the PAN
Paning is turning the sound left or right, when u hear it me or from left or right
Good afternoon sir, those the grouping work for auxiliaries too?
You can only group your input channels. Auxiliaries cannot be grouped.

Is it actually bad to assign channel strips to two buses.....like 1&2 3&4
No it’s not. Just be sure you know what you’re doing.
