A note tho that as far as i know being spun 360 doesnt mean holding the ball - not sure why fans still think it does.

You’re probably right, but I think tackling a bloke in a full 360 deserves a free kick regardless

Thanks for the shout out and answering, 100% true, I do know the answers to all my questions. I don't see how the AFL can expect cohesion and confidence from the coaches and clubs when they are constantly threatened by sanctions.
Accuracy killed us more than the decision I think

Grundy has been a very good aquisition for the Swans. However, so, too, have Adams and Jodan. You also have to remember that all the younger players are a year older and more experienced than last year. They are a very good side, where every player has a role to play and they all do it well.

Doggies absolutely itching for the bye.
Youngsters stood up against Collingwood but couldn't do it this week. Umpiring was shocking for us in the first half as well.

I think way too much gets made of line ball umpiring calls when they happen in the last few minutes of a game. You get a few bad calls every game, some cost a goal, some lead to a two goal turnaround. But if a 50/50 call goes against a team in the last couple of minutes, that is the call that is discussed.

It was a good win by the Tiges. Dion Prestia is injured again, I am not sure how long he is out for (if at all) but he is an integral part of their midfield and they just don't have the depth with the current list and current injuries to fill his role(s)
It is still a very interesting next game against the Hawks.

As if Prestia gets another contract to much injuries for the money he gets paid

@@benjaminstephens5489 He will definitely get another contract. As previously mentioned, they have nothing to replace him with. They are not exactly under heavy salary cap pressure, if he plays another 25-30 games over the next two years it will be worthwhile. If he got to 16-17 games in a year, he would probably win their b&f.

I don’t know.. I think the new interpretation of the holding the ball rule means that yeo choosing to take possession and not slap/punch the ball away whilst on his knees means it’s a free kick.. prior opportunity was that choice.. or something.. I’m not going to pretend I 100% know what is going on

While I generally hate rule changes, especially mid year or just the rule of the week "interpretation" The new holding the ball rule is a great and long overdue change.
The previous combination of allowing players a long time to get rid of the ball once they have been tackled and simultaneously penalising the tackler if he then takes the guy to the ground for a "dangerous tackle" was ridiculous.
They should have seen what has slowly crept in years ago, better late than never though.

Good video mate. Go bombers, even though they are annoying as hell 😵

melbourne were horrid to watch. kept bombing it into their 50 and when they did lower the eyes it was shocking efficiency. once u miss three, four, five in a row as a team it starts to hit. with trac going down it was not a good night. bye is here now but its not looking good for a projected top 4 side, 8 although i think they can make it is even in doubt

Carlton only had 4 less shots from 19 or so less i50's. Essendon just pumped the ball inside 50 for the sake of it majority of the time and yes missed easy shots but also had pot shots that were low %. Carlton had a similar game against Geelong and still kicked 105 despite being 2.8 at quarter time but everyone was negative about Carlton, but seem to want to be positive about Essendon. The Bombers have had a very favourable draw and their most accurate games mostly are against the poor sides. They won some games due to extreme efficiency like against Hawthorn... Essendon got their right whack, again, can't do it against a top side. Carlton are very impressive and still have another gear to go I feel.
