In my area there are three things that are just not safe from theft, traps, trail cameras and tree stands. The worst trap theft I ever had was right out of my shed by kids, well 20 year olds, I was trying to help get started. My shed is closed to that now.

no trouble with "eco" bunch ? -- take your traps because muskrats have feelings too -- know a guy who buys scrap and he was getting "burned" traps in all the time

I haven't, and am very fortunate. I'm very rural though
