Fantastic review! I was sold until the end where you mentioned the lack of foam. I am not looking forward to lugging around our Nuna Exec again plus it’s hard to install on the plane but I feel I would have anxiety with a less safe seat

Is the padding on the Maxi Cosi Romi a lot thicker than the Cosco Scenera Next Deluxe?

Maxi Cosi Padding is thicker over all and also flame retardant free. The Scenera Next Deluxe fabric is not FR free and you do get additional head pad and body pillow which is nice vs the more basic Scenera. I am sure the Romi is going to be more premium and more plush.
