Dude it is so hard keeping a family manufacturing business with 100+ employees humming at full throttle in this market, I'm here to tell ya it is anything but easy. This guy has reason to be proud, he is Tony Stark; his dad was making F16 parts, the kid takes over the firm, goes in his own direction, and is kicking butt making bike parts now. If he shows some pride, so what? Go do it better if you think you can...and I hope you will! That's what is so great about this country.

It's called quality control and quality assurance. Good companies do it, bad ones don't. It's the same reason your pants/shoes/whatever from the store have a QC sticker with an inspector's number. It's particularly important for anything made by hand as opposed to machine.

Ooooohhhhh, I wish these guys made wheels for my bike. But even if they did, I couldn't afford 'm. All props to Roland Sands Design and manufacturing. My "wish" list would be machined front and rear mags, with dual disc brake and calipers front, single disc and dual caliper rear. Risers and bars with internal control cables. Powder coated exhaust, intake kit with FI module. Leave the rest of the bike stock. Wait for someone got a little closer to it and notice. . ."hey, WTF is this?" ~S~

I do not care at all for the whole "proving myself" aspect Roland gives off. All I need is this is what I make and this is how I made it.

On a super high performance car like the V, the larger grill openings feed more air to the supercharger and brembo brakes.

    I really enjoy the show.
Constructive criticism though; I have to watch it with my hand on the volume the whole time, it fluctuates so much. Sometimes I can't hear people talking, other times they boom. Other than that, I really enjoy the show.

I wish you guys would normalize your audio better. The segments with music are uber loud and the segments with Roland talking in his office are pretty quiet. I find myself constantly adjusting my computer's volume and struggling to hear what's being said over the music.

this video was good, but you are having issues with what I have problems with - Grant Ray's mic in the office scene was just nasty. I'd have at least run it through some kind of noise filter or re-recorded it in post. Other than that, good video and looking forward to more.

He kind of reminded me of ken block in the beginning when there's the shameless self promotion saying hes done everything, but he seems like a great engineer and his bikes are pure art I wish they had some close ups. Also hats off the the machinists, its not easy but if their good they can really make some slutty parts.

Sound Levels! Pay attention to it. Your videos would be so much better if the sound was better. I hate having to turn the Volume all the way up for the talking and then way down for the loud music in between. Good stuff overall.

Actually, engineers calculate the theoretical limits. Testing is done to make sure the manufacturing process and materials meet the engineered expectations. 1 step without the other is a recipe for disaster.

I'm not really sure what the purpose of the episode was, just seemed like a way of filling 10 minutes because you had to publish something, nice workshop though.

And just how much "Engineering" have you done? No amount of theory can cover an enirety of real life usage. Even in a controlled situation like a race car let alone stuff that is sold to the public. Do you think nasa just sent out the space shuttle without testing any of the components in a simulated jig beforehand?
