After a year-long without any Airsoft at all, finally, I'm dusting off all my gear and realized that I completely forgot how to set up my RunCam 🤦🏽♂️

I really like the phone apps for a lot of the new Airsoft tech.
you can film at 120 fps and when you export the video at 60 fps in post youll still get more than 60 fps in those shots.
To get slow motion record at 720 120 frames a second and you can match Frame rate in editor
The downside to running 720 P at 120 frames per second is that you have to be in a well lit area to run that frame rate. If you are in and out of buildings or in a shaded environment then you lose a lot of image quality. Sometimes you can recover the image if it’s too dark, but often times you cannot. At least in my experience. If you know of another way to save the footage from the higher frame rate let me know.
thanks my runcam seemed blurry for some reason I had the sharpness at 6 and not 1

How long does it record before I shuts off? Do you have an external battery connected? Is the battery fully charged?
@@packmuleairsoft5565 after some testing turns out the battery loose. So it I move too much or bump into something it powers off.
Do you format the cards in all your cameras before every game? Last one I played I lost the last quarter of the day from corruption.
Yes I do, for that exact reason. I couldn’t tell you why files are less likely to be corrupted, I just know from experience that they are.
I have the runcam app however when I try to watch back my clips it will freeze all the time, same when I try to download my clips, when I download them it will freeze at like 20% and won’t continue. Is there a fix for this?
There are two possibilities. One, your phone specs don’t allow for fast enough data transfer. Two, your camera is recording at to high of a frame rate or resolution.
What is the best SD card to use with this camera?
In my experience, the 256gb sandisk extreme.
How do I get the red reticle off my original recording and add a new one when editing?
The red dot is embedded in the footage. The only way I know to remove it is to mask it out. However it will leave a black or solid color of your choosing it it’s place. If you are gonna add your own reticle it’s best to leave the one that the camera embeds out. Just go into the settings and turn it off.
ola guerreiro teria como me ajudar tenho uma scop cam lite so que nao estou conseguindo acessar o wifi quando aperto o botao do wifi so da o abarulho mais nao fica com a luz azul e se eu segurar o botao fica vermelho por isso nao consigo acessar o aplicativo teria como vc me explicar me ajuda sera que a camera esta com alguma configuraçao que nao esta deixando usar o wifi obrigado fico no aguardo

Yes it can. But you’ll have to remove the internal battery otherwise it’ll over heat and power down.

No problem man. Run cam has a new one out called the RunCam scope cam 2. It’s far better than the one in this video. But I haven’t done enough testing to make a video about it. My local field opens up today for the first time in months.
@@packmuleairsoft5565 thanks. Yeah i have just been browsing and have seen scope cam 2. I found a manuel online and you can use a power bank. Doesnt say about removing internal battery on this one so ill wait til i see some vids on it haha.just orderd . Thanks for the help
The scope cam 2 doesn’t have a removable battery. But as of yet mine hasn’t had the same over heating issue.
