What bad he did? All evil was released by Lucifer and Lilith, killing sinners is necessary, because they are threat to heaven, Charlie's idea is just laying problem of overpopulation in hell to shoulders of heaven. Basically what he did was just doing his job and his hatred to demons more than understandable, even after Lilith left him he didn't chase her or tried to ruin her life, he let her go, while Lilith and Lucifer destroyed his new life with Eve, it's obvious why he hates demons, because they deserve it

I have a theory that maybe Adam smiled because both of his wifes have left him in his life. I have a feeling that he died without any woman around to mourn him, but Lute was there and genuenly cried for him. He might've been happy that at least at his second and maybe last death, a woman genuenly cared and cried for him.
I personally think that's shallow. I think he just genuinely loved Lute, and gave her one last smile of appreciation. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with a woman being there for him. I think it was more that they were very close and he was comforting her in his time of death, giving her one last smile that he was thanking her for all she had done for him.

Adam was by far one of my favourite characters in the entire series, it was fun to see his evil on screen, but deeply I wanted him to get what he deserved for being the horrible person he is. Well, he did, and I felt horrible, especially for Lute, she sounded very devastated. This could signify that Adam had a lot more to his character rather than just being a douche, we might learn more in S2.
My theory is that Adam was a cool guy at first and was pretty dutiful, got send to hell to exterminate and well, basically got "corrupted" slowly because, since heaven seems a bit too strict and boring, each trip to hell was actual "fun" to him because it wasn't well... Hmmm... Let's say, both Adam and Lute seemed like very frustrated people who got a bit too excited to go "ham" in hell.
The smile Adam gave Lute is killing me- They must have been close for her to break down like that. The fact that he smiled at her though before he died really hit the feels.
There was comment talking about how BOTH Lilith and Eve were created FOR Adam, neither willingly chose him and left when given a chance. So, for Lute to choose to stay, in Adam's eyes, and even beg for him not to leave, ie die, it must've been super comforting passing away knowing when someone no longer was obligated to be with you, they didn't leave.

Lute and Adam were friends Terrible people, but they still cared about each other. Adam seeing that Lute was so horrified by his death must have shown him that she TRULY valued him as a person, not just pretending to respect him because of his role as her boss. No wonder he died happy this time.

Maybe she might have a deal with Vox in order to take revenge on Charlie and the sinners, including Alastor, who Vox hates.

Here’s my take on Adam. I think he’s a show off. Big ego and everything. But 90 percent of the shit he says shouldn’t be taken seriously and Lute knows this. He actively calls her bitch and acts sexist towards her but she doesn’t even blink. However she does put Adam in his place to remind him that the exterminations should be secret. It means she COULD stand up to him if she wanted. But she doesn’t. And it’s not just professionalism. She seems to genuinely love Adam and I do take it romantically (since Vivziepop does too) though I don’t think they’re in a relationship I feel like they have active chemistry that would lead to one. I feel like Lute is probably the only positive female interaction in his life, someone who unironically supports him but also criticizes him when necessary. She seems to actively revel in his presence and I honestly just wanna see what the two do in their off time now. If Adam does get resurrected as a Demon i wonder if Lute would give up being an exorcist.

Kinda have to feel bad for the guy. So many things were promised to him, but Lucifer ruined all of it. It's no wonder he is so angry and bitter. It wasn't just his life ruined; the perfect world, his perfect descendants, all destroyed - all afflicted with evil and mortality. Everyone he got close to betrayed him. Everything he wanted to do to make his people great failed. He was forced to live in this despair for *thousands* of years. In all that time, it seems only Lute cared about him.
False, Adam was too controlling over his wives, Lilith left him and met Lucifer, they just fell in love, but because Lilith was meant for Adam, disorder happened. Eve did the same. As for Lucifer, he only wanted to share what he created, but was hated and rejected for it. Adam only lost his two wives, he was loved and admired by all in heaven, while Lucifer was only liked by some in hell, while others plot to overtake him, Lucifer even says himself they were given free will and abused it, so he knows all too well. Adam could have had a perfect eternal life with Lute, but chose violence because he couldn't let go of a grudge, not every angelic of him for someone that's supposed to be above all hate.

To be fair...He did kinda commit a genocide. And enjoyed it a lot which is evident from his...Every appearance. He doesn't even have a necessary evil approach like Sera and straight up enjoys the Extermination. And he and Lute cut off Charlie's girlfriend eye out. And he killed Pentious. And he always treated her like a child and straight up threatend to murder her friends multiple times. So it's not surprising she isn't sad about his death.

@@hhjhj393that too, but I've heard guys who talk like him and that some of them were hurt once or twice by women who left or used them. Ya know? That doesn't excuse his actions and personality but it gives it reason as to what could've caused it.

Someone else said this that I agree to, he smiled and cared for Lute since she stuck by him till his end. Lilith went to Lucifer and Eve ate the apple. Lute (to him) did not betray him.
Comparing him to everyone else in the show. He’s the least “evil” person on the cast.
My theory is that Adam was a cool guy at first and was pretty dutiful, got send to hell to exterminate and well, basically got "corrupted" slowly because, since heaven seems a bit too strict and boring, each trip to hell was actual "fun" to him because it wasn't well... Hmmm...

I loved Adam he was such a funny character, if he doesn't come back as a Sinner then I hope that we see a backstory that explains his relationship with Lute
Theory: Lute will still be a major antagonist or main antagonist in the second season, might be Vox and The Vees, or Lilith, I mean Lute might take revenge on Charlie and the sinners and avenge Adam, she’s probably like a successor or her love interest to Adam more than a second in command. Maybe she might have a deal with Vox in order to take revenge on Charlie and the sinners, including Alastor, who Vox hates.
I really like the idea that Lute becomes a main antagonist to avenge Adam
And she is the type of charater who can learn from her defeats.
Lucifer is the King of Hell, but he's a merciful polite King.
I know they are the 'bad guys' but that little smile Adam gave Lute at the end was so wholesome. Like even tho Adam was a dick it feels like he really cared for Lute and Lute had real respect for Adam in return. I really hope we get just a little bit more lore about these 2 in future seasons!
i mean technically they're the good guys since they're from heaven, and adam kinda has his reasons to hate hell and whoever comes out of it
If Lute knows what’s good for her, she and her exterminator sisters won’t come back to Hell again, or this time, there’s no retreating for them.
*So… who’s up for pancakes?*
Yup, they have up the game now by a lot. I'm sure as hell Heavens won't assume they're invincible no more
Also, can I have strawberry syrup on top?
Hmmm they have a new martyr in Adam, a direct threat and can prove to Heaven that Hell isn't just an abstract possible future danger, but a current and present one. And while Lucifer as a major angel defeated human based angels. These are the level 1 villains. Meaning archangels or even more powerful soldiers than the regular squad could exist. Meaning now that they have been defeated, they can learn from it. Or not, depends on the skill of the writing.

False, Adam was too controlling over his wives, Lilith left him and met Lucifer, they just fell in love, but because Lilith was meant for Adam, disorder happened.
Eve did the same.

Adam only lost his two wives, he was loved and admired by all in heaven, while Lucifer was only liked by some in hell, while others plot to overtake him, Lucifer even says himself they were given free will and abused it, so he knows all too well.

To be fair...He did kinda commit a genocide. And enjoyed it a lot which is evident from his...Every appearance. Aww, it's sad. You can tell these 2 cared about each other.. how he smiled at her and her reaction..
Lute screaming “ADAM” gave me chills 😭
That part was hilarious.

@@joaopaulolimacavalcante3050 No, never needed it, besides, there are those that like Adam, and those that don't, I'm among the don't. Have a good day now.
I can't help it, Lute's my favourite character in the show.
Fan theory: Adam will be revived. Lute grabbed his Halo for a reason.
RIP the best character in this show. You will join Rorscharch and Ken as characters that the writer tried too hard to make unlikeable only to end up being the best of the story.
Ken, as in Barbie Ken ?
Not for me, I absolutely hated him, and watching him die was the best part, and Lute realising she's not invincible any more was great, both got what they deserved!
I REALLY don't see the comparison between Ken and Adam here. You're comparing a guy who was actually a victim to a sexist system and barely did anything wrong vs. a guy who kills people for fun and has committed THOUSANDS of acts of genocide.
Like yeah they're both beloved male antagonists, but they're beloved for very different reasons. And Adam isn't even a stand-out fan favorite like Ken is.
He smiled at end showing that he cared for lute it was sweet
Now she knows the pain she caused
Adam was an awesome character from star to finish, I don't think tey could have written a better antagonist.
Wow, I really thought it would be either Alastor or Lucifer who kills Adam but nope it was our favorite little housekeeper nifty
Alastor? Really?
I really hate to think Nifty is on her hit list.
@@kekcecovich4929if he had used holy weaponry yes. He would have killed Adam when he striked him to the face
@@knowingbadger he would scratch Adams mask, but definetly not kill em. After what, Adam would have used holy beam and one shot Alastor.
Lucifer and Adam are my new favorite characters.
Adam may have been stupid, but people have forgotten that hell and its inhabitants are much worse than him. And their hatred is comprehensible against hell. And I don't see the sky, Adam and the angels as villains, they are more than right to exterminate hell
No, Adam and Lute were even more despicable than the sinners they hunted. Exterminations were not a harsh necessity for them as was for Sera, but a fun activity to gleefully enjoy.
Lute's personality is mostly defined by her hatred toward sinners. To the point she maimed and abandoned a fellow Exorcist for the crime of sparing a sinner just ONCE.
To the point she ripped her own arm rather than giving up.
@@raistlin3462 same sinners who are also murderers, cannibals, rapist, pedos and whatnot are less worse than Adam? Same sinners, as seen in the show time and time again, kill, eat, and rape their own cus they can?
@@raistlin3462"more despicable"
In the end Sinners are depraved as hell just as trigger happy and just as blood thirsty, remember those at the Hotel are some of the most civilised of the sinners, those who were relatively innocent and victims of circonstances (and Alastor but Alastor is a manipulator at heart so he can hide his intention to a great extand). A great many are the genuine mass murderers, r*pist, predator, thief, people which are objectively terrible in a place where only being the most extreme of these people allows you to thrive.
In the end even if the system isnt working as intended and send countless people which couldve have had a shot in heaven to hell, its hard to say Adam is worse than those he kills, akin to them but not worse.
@@raistlin3462 you mean the same sinners who were murderers, r*pists, and cannibals?

Its a shame that Adam died in the first season, i would have really liked to see more of his singing
This is gonna be a little dumb but I kinda feel bad for Adam if you think about it the other way he was just doing his job
Just following orders.
Eh . . . no. He was ALL for this. This was all his idea and he was in absolute love with it. This wasn't someone doing their job because they had to. This was someone literally inventing the job and loving every second of doing it because they wanted to
@@noneofyourbuisness1679 Its funny cause Adam is in heaven with that attitude but when you realize he never ate the apple which is the origin of evil it makes sense
@@noneofyourbuisness1679 true true sorry my bad with my dummy brain
@user-pf2lh7lm1k Well it's not like you're wrong, but it's not the full story clearly. He is acting on malice, sure, but he has to obey too. There is no need to make self-denigrating comments. Both comments are right
Nah I feel bad for Lute. I feel like they both had feelings for each other. In season 2, she'll definitely take her revenge.
I don't she got what she deserved, know she knows how it feels when someone you love is killed, and she now knows she's not invincible, 100% deserved!
@@CondemedOutcast Damn, you must REALLY hate Adam
@@Illuminaaa I do, he's a complete dickhead that thinks highly of himself, and if he does come back in season 2, he'll have been humbled.
Before the battle, life was a joyride to Adam and women overall were hot eye candy for him...
In the end he smiled likely because it's his first realization of what a true caring emotion towards him felt like.
Despite how horrible Adam is, or rather was, this is actually a heartbreaking scene, especially with how Lute is reacting.
Adam better pull a “I always come back“ move 💀
Fr
Fly away, Lute and never return! Lute is like Zira, Vaggie is like Kovu and Adam is like Scar.
Lucifer’s little “please” was just the icing on the cake 😂😂😂
