What a creative idea -- making new art from existing prints. Great for those, like me, who aren't "real" artists and mostly take inspiration from the art of others. I am going to use this method for art lessons -- not only to mimic brush strokes and shading by overpainting but more importantly to challenge myself to come up with my own ideas for alterations: additional images embellishments, or simply adding more colors. Possibilities/themes are endless. Your Halloween theme is a great place to start. So much friendlier than the blank canvas.
