  • How to install the front suspension control arms, coil springs, and shocks on a first gen 1967 Pontiac Firebird or Chevy Camaro 1967 1968 1969. Thanks to GM's long running use of the same parts across most of it's divisions, the cost to replace the front suspension on one of these early first gen Pontiac Firebirds or Chevy Camaro's is cheap, and easy to install in a home garage over the course of a few days.

    I will say my least favorite part is messing with springs. Glad it went well and no injuries. Thank you for not painting the brakes red too!

    I left a comment on the sway bar video. I see it's a 67. And the shock mount nuts are welded in where on the 69 they are nut clips. Thanks for sharing your videos awesome work. Glad that your finishing your brothers ride. My brother passed last year and he's watched me restore my 69 in the last 25 years.

      @@ArrowheadGarage Yes sir and very dangerous the original service manual show you to put a chain through the the Spring wrap it around the frame and lock it in cause if that Spring go loose whoever it gets bye bye Charlie

    Did mine not to long ago, was a pain without any weight on the frame, but my springs are cut so I did not need the spring compressor. Good Job, keep us posted if you decide to convert over to disk brakes, would want to check that out.

      A disc conversion would make good content. The available kits are complete and make the job fairly straightforward. Just my dos centavos! 😁 Keep up the great work!

    Trying to lower my front end. It's higher than my rear. I do not like that stance.
    I have airsoft in the back and all the way up. The front end is still just a slight bit higher. What can I do to lower the front end

    • @ArrowheadGarage
      @ArrowheadGarage  7 місяців тому

      You could cut your springs down which will lower the front end.
