I stuck around for a few months as a subscriber, but I'm unsubscribing.
I just don't like the constant e-begging. Good folk shouldn't be parted with their money, because some expat' has made - and continues to make - bad life decisions. If you want to p*555 your money up the wall, you do you... just don't rely on the good-nature of random people on the internet, who you don't know (and who don't know you), to be there to support you financially.
I wish you the best with the court case - but we all know that the Thai 'justice' system is heavily skewed towards Thai nationals, and you're fighting an uphill battle. To pan-handle money from You Tube to fight that (or the fallout from it) isn't ethnical.

F... Hey brother if I wasn't depressed before I am now.
I have been watching this guy’s vlogs for some time. He has the hide to be negative about Pattaya. Alcohol is part of the scene, he’s negative about the sex industry, says it’s dangerous to ride motorbikes, but he does; he also asks if anyone should really live in Pattaya or even Thailand. He sold everything in Australia and went to Phuket and had a great time. Had a girl for a while. Argh, was she a sex worker? Dunno? Moved to Jomtien. Vlogging, that’s good. But, wearing thongs in a Go-Go fell down and broke his ankle; probably had a few beers on board. But wait, it gets worse. Hires a prostitute from Thai Friendly to help him with hospital. A few weeks after meeting they start the horizontal aerobics. Decided to spend a lot of money to buy & renovate a bar. Put everything 100% in the name of this Prozzie. She stopped the sex, and apparently gained physical possession of the bar. Claims he will win a court case against this Thai woman and will get his money or the bar back - unlikely. In the meantime, he is relying on YouTubing for a very small income, as well as donations. All through this video this guy tried to act like the “worldly” man who knows about life in Pattaya. However, he was nothing but negative. From the traffic, to the bars, bagging one restaurant chain (Cheap Charlies), complaining about dengue fever and mosquitoes, rubbishing the people of Pattaya but saying how cool he is because he has had a few drinks in some well-known bars, even though he was bagging the bar scene. Talking about or rubbishing Walking Street when he has not been there at night. Basically, he said Pattaya was a crap or horrible place, even alluding it to being a dangerous place, while looking down his nose at the people who visit or live in Pattaya.
He's got to crap on Pattaya. He was unable to make a go of it, so probably resents all the people going about their lives there who aren't broke. He's trying to knock life in Pattaya because he knows he's going to be forced home. This way he can say he didn't want to be there, anyways.
Its not surprising when the guy blew all his money in a bar & can't even speak a word of Thai nor wants to. When the chips run dry they blame everyone but themselves for being stupid. Having dealt in the Thai law biz his only claim is the chattels & only if he has them in his name? noone does? Well, using a Thai girl; her name, paying cash no receipts etc he's history getting anything back. The case is too long as its a simple shut & dry. His Thai lawyer will work with the girl as well as thats how they work "as he is paid on results" & if he gets a Court judgement which will cost him to appear a judgement means jack if the other party has no baht??? & so the case keeps on rolling along to nowhere.....thats how the system works. Until you live in all Thailand not just Pattaya you have no comprehension of just how hard it can be when you think its as easy as "I own a Bar"?????
He is deeply bitter and knows he has FCUKED up but is in denial

The best way to enjoy Pattaya is don't get too involved with a Thai bar girl, or girl selling herself online. I been going to Pattaya for 30 years and always had fun. If you ask for trouble you get trouble. Never buy a business with a Thai girlfriend, use a lawyer. As a foreigner you cannot own anything or buy anything in Thailand. Apart from a condo. Ask other foreign business owners first for advice and help. If you rush to buy a bar, you most likely fail and loose or sell it quickly!

To be brutally honest mate, I’d say that Pattaya/Jomtien is killing you. Be real about your drinking, exercise regime and food you’re eating. I know you broke that ankle, but you are getting visibly larger and would hate to see you leave this place early because of a few bad decisions. Look after yourself and most importantly be real with yourself. Stay safe and healthy.
I don’t disagree with what you say. It is very sad to see though. I hope he can do something and find some purpose but he just seems to be flogging a dead horse
Come on people drink and smoke all there lives and many guys I know there in there 60s 70s and still going strong if your times up its up no matter what 😮
@@Ardoyne10 yea no shit mate. But there’s certain things you can do to mitigate that damage. Like not be obese, drink like a fish and get little to no physical exercise. Who knows, maybe this fella will have the Churchill syndrome.

@@michaelthegreat44He is almost 60. He should be on retirement track now. He doesn't need "drive". He needs a source of passive income. I agree a more healthy lifestyle would benefit him. However, he clearly is not day drunk (like a lot of Pattaya tourists are) and he says he has been walking substantially each day... so baby steps.... He may be obese but so is 50% of the American population... and the Mexicans unfortunately, have an even greater problem with obesity and an explosion of diabetic complications... Eating and drinking too much is definitely not unique to Thialand.
Take my Advice,Ditch the Motorbike & Start Walking Everywhere.Good for the Mind & Soul.

I go to pattaya alot and moved to thrapraya in January, I enjoy it and I walk everywhere ,like the food and the culture, the locals are really friendly,heaps to see and do, places to explore and I don't drink.....
Lived on soi Buakhao for 4 years in my late 20s. Banged everything in sight, cost me fortune, also lost a small fortune. But well worth it !

2/its a dire warning for others out there of what does happen sometimes when entering into businesses in a foreign country especially in an area as notorious as Pattaya,as much as i love/loathe the place

Well, I was all set to move down there but this video has me terrified! I couldn't watch the whole thing but did he mention dying from lightning strikes and falling on wet floors where someone forgot to put up a "Hazard: Slippery When Wet" sign. What do you think guys? Are those all big problems in Pattaya? Let me know in the comments.
Use common sense and observe for the first month you’re there and you’re fine. People die all the time everywhere, including Pattaya, and a lot of the times it’s because they’re just plain old idiots.
Big problems all over Thailand. Just the other week ago 2 on scooters fell into a 5ft hole on the road. The contractors had no signs---very typical??

Mate, you should mark this video as a turning point in your life. Cut alcohol down to 1x per week. Stop eating street food because it’s full of sugar. Do an audit of your life and think if Pattaya is really the place for you? Maybe it’s time to move on. You get a lot of hate in the commments and I don’t think you deserve it. Although I do think you need to look at your next steps. Head up, stay strong, you got this.
I think he gets a lot of hate. A lot of it warranted. But the tone and the words used just look like attacks. If he actually saw the message being shown through the hate, he might recognise what a muppet he is being. But, alas, I think he is just a little handicapped..

It killed me, after 45yrs of frequent visits I 6:45 flew home, glad of the peace and quiet and no arrogant Russians. Will return shortly but will avoid Pattaya and see the real Thailand
Loved this video! Thanks. Can you do one of walking street in daytime also? And a small request; Can you do brunch at the Hotel Windy inn next to Siam Bayshore resort by the seaside pool? I hear that they have done a lot of renovation there lately and it used to be my favourit spot for brunch. Would love to see it again!

Well brother, the attraction for me of the area is the weather the food, the beaches and yes, I really enjoy walking around and seeing the beautiful people and just people watching. I have no interest in drinking. I’m not a drinker. I have no interest in the prostitution, I have no interest in any of that stuff but I enjoy just watching people, hanging out on the beach having delicious food at a great price and just relaxing and enjoying my life
Thailand being no1 tourist destination in the world, of course it will have prostitution, drugs,sex n rock n roll. Goes with the territory.
You just have to live there best way you want to?
