Great informative Video! Before I buy- How is the Sound Quality? Thanks
Bought mine 2 days ago and all i can say is this tv is amazing and classy & im loving it!🙌🏽
Everyone says the same!
What size did you pick up!? I was gonna get the 55 inch, but ordered the 65 inch c1 directly from LG and am so excited for it to be brought in and mounted! Really looking forward to watching the World Cup later this year!
2 days ago.. poor fuck
Does it have 1ms response time?
Im excited to buy this soon my very first oled ill get 65inch and get ps5 or xbox series x!
I got the 48inch C1 a few weeks ago. I’m honestly blown away by the picture quality of this set. I was concerned about the potential lack of brightness ,but it’s not a problem at all. Absolute bargain in my opinion.
Do you have HDR tone mapping enabled?
I'm thinking of bying the 48 inch too, do you regret not buying a 55 inch?.
I’m next
Is it vrr
@@ESPirits87 bro I ended getting the 48 bc it dropped $100 down to $800 now for 48 c1 recently, but the $55 still $1100.
I just bought this TV today after comparing it with the Samsung Neo qled 90a. The only issue I had with the LG was my living room is very bright during the day. So I decided, when I was going to watch TV during the day, I’d just close the curtain. Thanks for your review, makes me glad I went with the LG.
I went for the 77"C1 in main viewing room and 55"C1 in my office last year. So glad I did and both have been perfect since.
Great video, purchased the 65 inch and set it up a couple of days ago and all I can say is wow. Probably the best tv I’ve ever purchased. Just for the gaming features alone it’s worth every penny, top of the line. I’m glad I waited until the price drop as I’ve been wanting this tv since it released.
What was its price when it dropped if i may ask? I wanna get one myself however idk if i should wait on a drop or just go buy one
@@hotmailcombk when I purchased it was down to 1700 from 2700. Amazon has it even lower now at 1496 as of today. Great all around tv and highly recommend it.
I bought the 48" C1 about 2 months ago to use as a PC monitor and I am so thankful I did.
I jumped into PC gaming a year ago and I was never satisfied with my 27" 1440p monitor.
Now my PC gaming experience is like my console gaming experience but without having to choose between fidelity mode vs performance mode.
I have even moved my PS5 and switch dock from the TV room to my desk, so now all my gaming is in one place.
I love gaming on the C1...in addition to other media uses...and general PC use as well.
…how the hell did you get a PS5? 😂😂😂
@@chrismacdonald.6295 LOL
We actually have 3...I pre-ordered mine via best buy on line in Canada and my daughter lined up at a local EB Games to pre-order hers.
I got my other daughter one early last year, again via best buy on line in Canada however I had to go to the best buy store to pick it up.
What can I say??
I am a single dad who loves to game and so do my daughters.
We each have our own gaming PC too.
@@chrismacdonald.6295 Further to my daughter lining up to pre-order hers from EB Games...she dropped off her little sister at school and then drove to EB Games and got in line...she was 15th or something in line and when the store opened, an employee came out and counted from the front of the line until they reached the number of PS5s they had available for pre-order...my daughter was the last person!!!
I was more stressed for her then she seemed to be...she had used my Onyx Edge card for the pre-order so I would check on-line every day to make sure they had not canceled her pre-order...finally a day or so before the release day the store called to book her a pick up window time.
As for the 3rd PS5, I just kept checking on-line retailers until one day best buy had some available...I placed the order and picked it up a few hours later...needless to say, my daughter was very, very happy...it was a very earlier birthday present.
I fully realize how incredibly lucky we are...in many more ways then one.
@@bilbobaggins7527 A heart warming and happy story. And I’m happy for you. What a lovely reply. Thank you.
I'm nearly in the same situation. I had a 27" gaming monitor and was never really happy with the image quality and it was hard to get immersed with such a small size display.
However I got the new 42" C2 Oled and love it. It fixes everything that I hated with the gaming monitor. And I also moved my PS5 to the computer desk. 42" at three feet is very immersive. And why do so many talk about them not being bright? In HDR the highlights are eye piercing!
Literally ordered a c1 77 inch on Friday for £2480 and after seeing all the positivity for it, I'm really happy I did. It's hard to spend so much on "just a TV" (although I did manage to get it for 200 quid Les than you said :D) but I spend so much of my leisure time in my living room, that I think it's ultimately going to be a good investment for sheer enjoyment. Great video mate.
I’m happy with my 48C1 but I bet 77inch must be incredible. Like a mini cinema. Enjoy!
I just bought a 55" C1. After all the videos of comparisons this was the one for me. Price drop really sold me.
Mainly used for pc gaming/sim racing. Replaces my Sony 48" HDTV.
I'm very happy with it.
Are you me? Literally just did this with my Sony Bravia
@@BestWOTReplayss Me too. 999€ well spent, was a hard choice between Sony A80J, but LG was 200€ cheaper.
Brought this around a month ago, got the 65 inch for £1599, absolutely brilliant TV, i had pre ordered a C2 but for over a thousand pound more, that's way to much of a hike for marginal improvements over the C1. The C1 is stunning for movies, gaming and general TV viewing. Oh and the blacks.....wow.
Why do you have a lot of TVs?
I just picked up the C1 77” for 2K it was a no brainier
@@MyZippy13 hopefully the Pixel density is still not far off from the 65”.
@@hastensavoir7782 I don’t think he does. Sounds like he cancel the C2 order. Most people in a family, will have 4-7 tv in house. 1 for living room and 1 in each bedroom. Some people even have a tv in kitchen and bathroom.
I jumped on a Woot! deal for the 65" and could not be happier. It is an incredible value and huge upgrade over my 55" LG B8.
I’m hunting the 65” too. Best price I’ve found is £1400. How much did you pay?
@@jlb4685 $1,649 US
Just bought the C1 65" after literally months of going over all the best 2021 OLEDS, price comparisons and the lot. One of the last few remaining on Amazon for £1,400. This video reassures my decision 😁👍🏽
Not sure that this guy is right about them phasing out production of the C1. I’m not saying he’s wrong or lying but he may be wrong. Considering the huge price difference between c1 and C2 and considering there’s not much improvement, it would seem stupid for LG to stop making C1. Some people can be pressured into spending way more then they want and others will simply say, too expensive and find another more affordable Tv.
@@grahamkelly8662 True, but I ordered a C1 recently. The last one in stock, and the seller said that there had been a mistake and they had sold out. They sent me a C2 instead for the same price. Surely they wouldn't do that if more C1 TVs were available. I would have been happy with the C1 but the C2 looks slightly better aesthetically.
@@nathangonsalves-williams7541 sweet, you got extremely lucky. Enjoy 👍
Just bought my C1 48’ for 899€. It’s absolutely amazing.
I use the 65" G1 in my living room and the 48" C1 in my bedroom. Both are exceptional TVs. No regrets whatsoever with my decision to purchase either
How is the picture quality and viewing experience on the smaller 48 inch compared to the 65? I am thinking to get the 48 for my bedroom but the 55 may be better?
The best damn tv yet made by LG. If I were looking for a tv I would grab a C1 while you can. I am loving mine and have no plans to upgrade ANYTIME soon. Great video as always.
Bang on!
Not in the sound department though. They used to offer much better sound throughput and quality before.
ordered One today 65 inch for 1390 bucks lol

I bought a 48" C1 last year and I enjoyed it so much that I bought a 42" C2 this year. I have the 42" C2 on my desk as a PC monitor and the 48" C1 in the living room for console and movies.
Just bought the 48 inch C1 for $796, couldn’t pass up that deal! I’m in love with the incredible picture quality so far especially when gaming with my PS5 🤩😍🤩😍🤩

Just bought the C1 65" a couple days ago because of this video. Just dropped by to say thank you for your opinion and advice.
I bought the C9 just before out of life cycle, and just today picked up the 65” c1. I always buy at the end of life cycle, it’s nice since tons of updates came out for them. I will never buy the newest model, always the year before
Got a C1 77'' coming next week, going from a B7 55''
I just got my first OLED which is C1 and my gawd it is a thing of beauty with how it looks and the picture quality. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and it’s beyond amazing to watch and gaming on it. However I have to say I wish it was brighter as I feel like the game mode is way to dark for my liking and HDR while still gorgeous it’s still not as great as my 2018 Samsung q7f which is way brighter in both SDR and HDR. I definitely recommend people to get c1 or any OLED in a dim room where’s there’s hardly any sunlight hitting the room because otherwise it’ll be a bad experience having an OLED in bright room.
If you enable hgig, play with the hdr sliders IN the games you play. Makes a really big difference. Also tune some stuff in the game optimizer: the black and White stabilisator 👍🏻
I think hgig is broken on lg tvs. If you want bright just use regular tone mapping. I got the 42" C2 and it's brighter than the led it replaced. You need to tweak the settings.
6 month ago my c1 arrived. I Love this TV so much. Nice quality perfekt for gaming and after 14 hours a Day of usage no burn in so far!
Picked the 65 inch up at Best Buy last week for $1600. I was going to wait until the price of the C2 went down but after reading a ton of comparisons, I didn’t think the upgrades on the C2 were worth the extra 700 bucks and I didn’t want to wait any longer.
That being said, I couldn’t be happier with the C1. My only gripe, it’s not a big one, is the OS is a little slow.
Real drag about the OS, this is the thing I REALLY hate about my Samsung UN55JS8500, virtually worthless for any smart feature & why I need to trade up, perplexed on if I want to get this now though reasonable price drops on the C2 are far off.
@@greggasiorowski1326 You can always just get a Chromecast for 50 bucks. It's gonna be smoother and more intuitive than any stock TV OS, believe me.
I'm looking at the 66" for $950 open box with warranty rn
Just bought my first Oled, Have gone for the 55 inch C1 for £959. Can't wait for it to arrive 😍
I bought LG C1 48 inch recently for £850 and after my disastrous last tv, and being my first Oled. I absolutely love it and even tho I see on this vid that there’s very little difference between c1 and C2. I wouldn’t care if there was a huge difference because I love this tv, I’m appreciative and super happy because many can’t afford such Tv. Even tho the 55inch is only £200 more then my 48, I’m still happy. I had 55 on last horrendous tv and I don’t really notice a difference. This LG c1 just works and looks incredible. Especially 4K wildlife.
I own 48 inch c1 for a year, using it as a pc monitor(had 34 inch VA panel), best purchase ever I made ;) no signs of burning pixels so far(using all safety features, hidden taskbar, the toolbar in browser, pixel-shifting etc ), sometimes playing games up to 8h and panel like new apart of my spit from shouting, no eye strains etc. deff recommending.
Thanks for the comment now thats what i wana hear some real gaming reviews !
Got my 77 inch for $2399. Talk about a great deal!
Thanks for the great vid!
Just got the c1 55 for $1099 - I am a happy camper! Can’t believe the almost identical c2 is almost twice the price 🤭
True, I really want the 42” but it just doesn’t make good sense. I just gave my CX 55 to my dad, so I’m either going for the C1 in either 55 or 48.
I was looking between the C1, C2 and Samsungs s95b in the end the price for the C1 is what won. Costco had them on sale last week. My major issue with C1 was that fitting a sound bar in front of it when using the stand meant most sound bars covered part of the screen. I solved that problem by buying a 4x10 getting it cut to a fe inches longer then the stand. I spray painted it black and it is pretty much hidden behind my Samsung Q850a sound bar. The C1 is amazing when it comes to gaming both the PS5 and Xbox Series x look spectacular on it! I have watched some SD content and it also looks really really good. I have mine in my living room and I have no issues with how bright it gets and no issues with glare at all. This is hands down an amazing TV and the current price makes it that much more amazing
Bought the 77" a month ago for £1980 NEW and boxed on ebay. Works like a DREAM with PS5 VRR and Xbox VRR!
I have the c1 77’’ when first came out. Amazed by the clarity and excellent picture quality on it. My PS5 look excellent on it too. If you can find one for half the price for it when it first came out, grab one. You wont regret it.
That's pretty much what I just did. Amazon has it for 2400 with 10% back if you have they're amazon credit card. I also used some points I already had saved up and got the 77 inch C1 for 1970.
I just got a new 55“ for 750$! I wanted to wait for the QD prices to drop. But I went for the C1 & replaced my 2013 LED. In 5-7 years I will get the QD OLED ++ 8k 240fps 😂🤑😇

I got mine few days ago, 55" went down to 1100 for a day on Walmart website, I get 10% off and I got 10% cash back though Cashback plugin. With taxes it came below 1k. This was going to be my bedroom TV, replacing a 50" TV, so didn't want anything too big.
I just bought the 77 inch for 2900 Canadian. 3400 with taxes and a 6 year warranty from Costco. Best price ever for this size of an OLED and the Costco no worry warranty.
I’m currently standing here ready to buy a new TV, and i have been looking a lot at the C1 OLED. I watched tons of videos about this TV, and it truely looks brilliant and stunning! It looks like a great tv for both movies and gaming with stunning graphics. Does anyone think i should buy the C1? Because it’s still so hard for me to pick a TV :/
Love my c1, it still amazing tv, no reason to upgrade to c2 because not much a difference only the brightness increased from new evo panel, if i have money I will go for sony A90K 42 this year
They will come way down in about or or 3 years. The smaller QD OLED I mean

I bought and lg c1 and I absolutely love it especially for gaming. Honestly I think the games look so much better you think you're playing something completely different. I'm not to thrilled about the tv speakers. Might get a sound bar
i use an 11.1 Yamaha surround with Danish Dali speakers and it sounds awesome with Series X and 4k Bluray :). As i have the Oppo 203 player it has 2 HDMI so you can get around the no DTS through put which is otherwise a bummer on the LG C1.

I bought a 55" C1 for £970 a few weeks ago. Of course the prices have fallen again with it going for under £900 now. No regrets though, I still paid a good price for what is an excellent TV.
55 C1 is not under £900 anywhere. I know because I looked hard. It available in 55 for no less then £1000.

We might buy a new C1 within next few weeks! We had seen the TV in a showroom in January but we somehow didn’t buy it back then. But, next week, we're most probably going to be buying it. It is going to be a perfect TV for my PS5!
I bought a 65inch C2 a few weeks ago and it is amazing, and you are right, the current pricing makes these an absolute bargain. The whole LG line is fantastic.
How do you get SD content to look like that lol, i struggle to get SD anywhere near, oh I'm in the uk and run SD through and ariel lol, do you have any tips please?
I agree. A friend has the 65inch. Anything HD and above looks fine but SD is soft at best and decidedly fuzzy at worst. Older films even on blu ray can look overly grainy. So the upscaling has it's limitations and other brands, specifically Sony, may be better at it. That said it's a great tv if you are a gamer and if you watch a lot of HD or 4K stuff.
I tend to agree there. I have to run SD through my sky mini in my bedroom and the picture is not the best.
@@paulbrien9902 Ive managed to faff around with the settings and stuff like bbc/ ch 4 and quite a few others look ok but a lot of others are meh. Oh well, still an excellent TV imo.

Just picked up a C1 48” for my living room, £550 used. Totally epic. Best £550 one could possibly spend.
As a gamer I have been doing some research on the best tvs and I have narrowed it down to the LG C1 and the Sony A80J. At first, the C1 was the obvious choice. However, after further research I am now leaning towards the A80J for the following reasons:
#1. The so called "features" on the LG C1 aren't really features (do your own research on why this is).
#2. The A80J now has vrr and it works just fine.
#3. The A80J has better picture and way better sound than the LG C1, period.
#4. The A80J has excellent picture right out of the box while the C1 apparently has terrible picture and it needs to be calibrated. For me, this fact alone is checkmate.
Idk about you, but I don't want to spend all day messing around with the picture settings just to get it to look decent.
I'm still going to continue doing my research, specially finding something wrong with the A80J. If you guys have any experiences with this tv could you let me know? Thanks!
What put me off about the Sonys was the build quality. The remote, chassis and the stand all felt cheap compared to the C1. Your assertion that the C1 has poor calibration out of the box is at odds with all the reviews I've read. Sony TVs also use LG panels so the difference can't be that great.
I like it, but one thing I would love added to this TV is the ability to pass uncompressed audio via eARC.
It has eARC. The LG TV's just dont have DTS codec.
Grabbed the 65” C1 last week and I do not want to leave the house anymore. PS5 is amazing on this
Just bought a 55 inch for £750 😊
£724 here. Great video but couldn't be more wrong about the price.
77 It may be too big if you are very close to the TV. Double check. 55 is more than enough, 65 is great and probably the sweet spot for most people and 77 maybe too big.
Just picked up a 65" C1 for $1400 on a Memorial Day sale. As you said, it's last call! It's not gonna be around much longer and the deals are fantastic 👌
from where if i may ask?
Thru Verdetoe?
just bought the 48 inch C1 for 920 euro's! Can't wait to use it in my desk setup!
Buying this beauty soon to watch Netflix and play games im super excited itll be my first OLEDTV😆
Just bought the 83inch yesterday can't wait to get it
i bought the 83" c1 from brandsmart, very expensive after taxes and extended warranty but I enjoy it very well, I would recommend spending the extra $$
i got my 48” for $899 about a week ago. for me it was a no brainer. what a fantastic tv
Just copped an LG C1 during July 4th for $800
I have C1 55 about a year ago, the image is amazing especially in HDR and Dolby Vision, The AI 4K upscaling do a well job. About the brightness even in standard mode it is suffisant.
Just got the c1 yesterday for $1,100. Excited to see how this oled works on my series x and ps5
I just bought the lg cs65. C1 screen with c2 power
I have a G1 (upgrade to the C1) that I’ve been using for a few months now, and I have no issues with it. WebOS is still terrible, but I use an Apple TV 4K instead, and the Picture Quality is the best I’ve ever seen.
I bought a 55 in C1 and a PC with a 3080 and bought a PS5 it's the best TV I've ever owned
For the longest time I was after the CX. But it was very expensive.
Then the C1 came saw it from linus again 1000 quid+.
Then the C2 came and its 1299 gbp.
Then by some coincidence. I saw an LG C1 48 inch last friday 3rd of June. For £799. Plus Jubilee Discount it dropped to £719.
I already got an MSI qdqrf 27 inch 1440p quantum dot. And that monitor on sale was £499.
It was a no brainer. I Pulled the trigger on the C1 and it arrived last Saturday. Delivered by the store's own delivery truck which was an added bonus. I was shocked, I live way south and the store way up north. It arrived! Lol
Verdict?
Really FREAKING GOOD!. Replaced my QD monitor.
I have a 3080 on a pc, and tested my brother's 3070 laptop. Both can run the 4K well. Although yeah laptop was loud.
Now just the wait for the 4000 series cards!
I know I am fan boying on the C1. But really in person its very good both on PC gaming, Console and movie content.
I know that on bright or white background the C1 48 inch dims the brightness. Its noticeable. But it does not bother me. For one its to protect the tv and two protect your eyes too.
As for normal tv viewing or gaming on it. You won't notice the dimming.
picked up a 55 for 899 on Amazon, looking forward to trying it out.
Great channel plenty of sound advice I've just purchased the 55 in C1 and was wondering if you got any ideas about a good soundbar to go with it and do you have any specific picture settings that you are using on your C1
Why is everybody so obsessed with brightness??? Brightness washes out colors I have 55in c1 it is beyond bright enough for me.
I just don't know why 95% of people wouldn't buy an LG TV for gaming and media useage. It's by far the cheapest and the best(!) on the market for most users or even enthusiasts!
Only thing that I don't love is how slow WebOS is and competitors have them beat there, but i'm still so happy at paying £1330 for a 65" C1 a couple months ago.
I honestly hesitated bcus I HATE the webos, but I’ll just deal.
I bought an LG C1 65 inch today for 1500. I hope I don't regret it. I had a Plasma back in the day with the worst burn in. I really wanted an OLED though. Plus I figure to replace my tv more often these days anyways.
Any idea as to how much of an upgrade this would be over my old LG OLED B8. I'm still pretty happy with the B8, but am tempted to upgrade at current prices.
Specific areas of the B8 I would like to see improved are motion handling, upscaling (especially of of SD broadcast material), and colour banding removal. I'm not worried about gaming on it.
Other approach I'm considering is to get a Sony A80J (assume its price will drop when the A80K is widely available). Likely to cost a bit more but supposedly better at the points above. Would welcome any comments?
I'm in kind in the same boat except never owned an oled. Hard time deciding the c1 or a80j. I think I'm leaning towards Sony cause from all the info I gathered colors seem more accurate and not over saturated so you get more detail but cost a few hundred more. More shadow detail as well. Screen retention also seems to be a problem but I think that's both more so on Sony though. I just don't know who to pull the trigger on but also don't want to miss out.
@@dirkdiggler2695 LG make great all rounder TVs. My Samsung TV only lasted a few years whereas my LG TV has lasted 8 years. Just switched to the 65 inch C1 recently but LG tvs are very reliable!
I`m currently owing C7 since 2018 and I`m thinking about changing to either CX which I can get used or C1.Its mostly for PS5 that I use from time to time.I was thinking about CX because I like the menu more ,but I`m thinkng that proper step up would be C1 actually.CX feels like a mix of older/newer generation, while C1, C2 , C3 like newer one.And from what I gahthered over the internet C2 is like C1 and a half while C3 is like C2 and a half.C1 one would be definitely a sweet spot considering the price.
Brought one as well 2 days ago C1 55" £839, from eBay £60 discount code, very happy with it so far, 😁
Thanks for the practical advice.
Wow lol, I actually bought the 77" c1 2 month ago for 2500 euros. It's dropping even more in price now. I am really glad I got it, enjoying it a lot. But I do have some friends that keep saying the Sony is much better. (They didn't specify, but they claim it's that much better in picture quality). I did look at 77" sony but the difference was like 1000 euros.
I been having mine for a year now definitely worth it.
We have the Sony A80J, but came very close to getting a C1, I've heard nothing but good about them, now is the time to buy one. especially the 55", they are cheap.
I’m even blown away viewing 1080p content
Just picked up the C1 in 65” for $1350 from amazon in “used-like new” condition with 10% cashback. New was still only $1500!
