  • When we met, Wendy took pictures of everything, primarily selfies of her with others. Knowing that she must have had some pictures of us from that time, I yanked the hard drive and looked at it. It seemed okay. The problem must have been somewhere else. Wanting to surprise her with pictures of when we first started dating, I waited until she left to go visit her sister before I plugged it into a SATA cable connector to my PC.
    There were pictures there. Plenty of pictures. Some were of us on dates, laughing, smiling. They brought back some good memories. But there were also others of her with different people. One person in particular I remembered. His name was "Bob" and Wendy had dated him before me. There were lots of pictures of her and Bob. I wanted to grab only our pictures, so I thought the easiest way would be to organize them by date, figuring the latest pictures would be of only us.
    But when I clicked them by date, a lot of her pictures with Bob were jumbled up with pictures of us. I began to open the pictures one by one and noticed that in a few of her pictures with Bob, where they were cuddling and kissing, she was wearing a necklace/locket that I had given her as a birthday present in the second year we were dating.

      I have a lawyer friend who has two personalities, she fun and friendly most of the time, then she enters lawyer mode and becomes an unfeeling nightmare, which is as hilarious as it is terrifying. You see she 5ft 7in in heels so most people (guys, generally) don't think much of her, which is a mistake, she was a drama kid and liked playing bad guys in high school so she knows how to command an audience. Most lawyers who know about her will push for settlement rather than fight in court because they know she will crush them. It funny to me because she once got out of skipping her homework by pretending to be a hamster, and she's the woman I will give any price she asks to give me a clean divorce.

    Thank you Redditt! And thank you Reddit commentator. Long story short I got cheated on divorced, left. 20 years later got married to s wonderful woman. I use to think something was wrong with me because when I first found out about my XW I went numb. I wasn't angry I was never sad, and thought I was just a cold calculating SOB. The way you felt then described how I felt then. The person I thought I knew, I didn't. That person was never real. I use to think I died inside. And would wonder if I really loved the woman I'm currently married too. I do love her and we work hard at our relationship. My mindset when I met her has been a work in progress everyday. I think this attitude has kept me grounded with everything I do. However this post cleared up any and all doubt about me going NC. One friend once said to me going no contact is silence. Silence is the is the preferred method of punishment for narcissists. I know I'm not. I explained to that friend that my Stbx killed my soul. Since I'm dead what would be the point of talking.
    Again thankyou.
    Good look to you all

    I met my husband, Nick, in college. After graduation, we spent 5 years in a long distance relationship. I stayed in New York to work and go to grad school while he went to Washington state to work on a submarine for the US Navy. He was deployed five times. This was the hardest point in our relationship. We could write emails occasionally, but other than that, there’s no communication on a submarine. But, I knew that if we could get through that, we could get through anything. And we did. We finally got married, and the Navy moved us to Hawaii. I called this our “two year honeymoon” because we were finally together, and in paradise of all places! We got to make up for lost time. I was worried it would be difficult for us to go from hardly ever seeing each other to living together, in a new place where neither of us knew anyone. But starting over like that really helped us bond. After a few years, he had to go back on a submarine. We spent a lot of time apart during those years even though we “lived” in the same place. In the military, similar to long distance relationships, the lows can be low but the highs are so high. For me, the high was visiting Nick on a port call in Guam. And there is no better feeling than that homecoming hug. I wouldn’t have had these amazing experiences without the hard parts that came with them. Now we live near Washington, DC, with our baby girl, and Nick has no plans to deploy again!” Moreover I was able to track all phone activities using TRACKANDSPYCELL🟢ORG on google Totally untraceable, cheap and anonymous. Let him know I referred you.

    Are first I thought he was overreacting but then when I found out they were engaged to be married when this was happening I began to understand his reaction. The fact that you brazenly kept pictures of you a bob together WITH pictures of you and stbexh was a very stupid CHOICE but a CHOICE none the less. You can call it a mistake till you're blue in the face but at the end of the day? Everything that happened was a result of your CHOICES.

      @Green Monster Can So by your “logic”, Men should also be able to kiss, cuddle, and sleep with other women and the girlfriend or wife shouldn’t be upset by that because it’s not “intimate” or “shows signs of feelings” and they’re “just jealous and controlling” for being upset in the first place too, right?? I mean it’s basically the same thing you’re saying with the girlfriend or wife kissing, cuddling and sleeping with other men. See how stupid that sounds? That’s exactly how what you said sounds like.

    • @SamAkira2002
      @SamAkira2002 3 роки тому +11

      @Green Monster Can That’s still mildly inappropriate to be sleeping in the same bed with someone of the opposite sex who you’re not in a relationship with. The only exception would be if you’re related to them in some way or if you put a lot of distance between the two of you but I would find it extremely uncomfortable if I was sleeping in the same bed and was pretty much snuggling up with someone of the opposite sex who I wasn’t in a relationship with especially if I have a SO because that’s a betrayal of truth as well as respect to my SO’s boundaries. I would also feel disrespected and upset if I heard or saw that my SO was sleeping in the same bed with someone else of the opposite sex who they weren’t related to and practically snuggling up with them too because that go against what I see as appropriate and is overstepping my boundaries.

    • @SamAkira2002
      @SamAkira2002 3 роки тому +9

      @Green Monster Can It’s because sleeping in the same bed should really only be reserved for the people who you have some kind of interested in or are married with, with the exceptions being that you’re related or you both make it so you both are not right beside each other because you both made it clear that you both don’t have interest in each other and you want to respect the other person’s boundaries, but if that isn’t the case, it can lead to other things if you’re not careful, especially if you don’t completely know what the other person’s intentions are(and by that I mean if that other person secretly has feelings or is wanting to take advantage of the moment if you know what I mean). Also if the other person is younger or older then you(like you’re a teen and they’re objectively an adult or vice versa), that’s also inappropriate and uncomfortable.

    I think the most important part of that was where she refused to hand over her phone at the settlement conference. This proves 100% that she continued cheating when she was married. To connect the dots. She wanted reconciliation that was her aim, she claimed she had never cheated during her marriage. She was offered a chance to prove her claim, this in her mind would of been a win for her Yet what did she do refuse vehemently. If she had not cheated during marriage then the phone would of contained no evidence of this It would be a win for her a chance to reconcile which she wanted. In short logically the only reason for her to refuse is if the phone contained further evidence of her cheating. Otherwise she would of been happy to let them examine it and get a chance at what she wanted.
    So it proves cheater cheat if they cheat on you once they will do so again. This bloke is lucky that he will never now the extent of how much she cheated and does not care.

    The reason you don't feel anything, is because you are a "high functioning" sociopath. I was told I was a high functioning sociopath because during my divorce I felt absolutely nothing after 17 yrs. of marriage.As soon as she told me she wanted a divorce I just thought in my mind, if she thought long enough to go for a divorce she must really not want me. Click, I was done. Later found out she did really not want a divorce she just thought I would ask her how I should change for her. Her mother's advice was she could always marry me again if I took too long to change. Like a regular man, I don't know the rules to fricken mind games so I just walked away after the divorce. Makes for a very happy man!!!

      No. Men have a switch inside them (when hit) stops emotions all together. That switch can only be flipped when a certain amount/kind of trauma hits him.

    "Dont throw 5 years away over a mistake"
    uh, you mean like how she threw their 5 year marriage away repeatedly? It was a choice she made consistently, but rules for 'thee and not for me', right?

    Finally a man I can be proud to say has a spine and a pair. Too many times i hear these post and it's some beta male taking their wives or gf BACK, wanting to know why they cheated or wants opinion on what to do after the wife or GF banged everyone except the local dog catcher. This is a man, he ripped the bandage off in 1 move and proceeds to live a better life. TG for people like you, it give me some hope for western society survival.

      I know this is one year late but... Wow! Best comment in this video... I am really sick of all those posts on reddit about "My wife/Girlfriend/Fiance cheated on me with whoever/everyone and is having an affair for whatever/many amount of time... What should I do?" If you are so stupid and need to ask what you have to do, do nothing and stay with the cheater, you deserve her... Invite the AP to your house and share her, maybe you will fall in love with AP too, who knows. No amount of love, not even children would have you to stay with a cheater, even more if it was a long affair. Disclaimer: an only a ONE time mistake that was confessed immediately and real remorse is promptly shown, might (and that's a big MIGHT) be worked on.

    This of OP feeling nothing is something I have experienced before.
    I guess it's when you feel an emotion to such an extreme/is too strong that it just empties you.
