- In this video I try to remove scratches from the rear window of my car.
I used Sonax Glass Polish Profiline for this and a glass polish pad from FlexiPads.
I manage to remove quite a lot of the scratches but the deepest I couldn't remove..
Still Im quite happy with the result as it is a big improvement comparing to before treatment.

Sometips:
Less Water
More polish
Rotation and not excenter Maschine (most important think here
Special Pad for Glass (if you havent use it already)
Pressure (5-10kg) when you polish
Hi, yes It could be better with rotational machine.
I used special pad for glass + quite much pressure. I think its quite hard (impossible) to remove all the deeper scratches.
I came for the video and stayed for the song. You have a good music taste which was a great choice for the video 👍
I have this job lined up for the weekend. Same pads and polish but a rotary I’ve borrowed.

Yes, I didnt have that high expectations to be able to remove any scratches, but I think this performed really well..only the deepest scratches are visible in very bright light..
How does it compare to Carpro Ceriglass ? my windshield wiper made a tiny scratch line. what would be the best product to use ?
I think that the method that have best cutting effect is woolpad and glass polish. You need tio put on quite alot of pressure aswell.
Was a DA polish Maschine good enough for this job?

Nice video, thanks for posting. Question, where any of the scratches able to catch your nail as you passed over the scratches? I have scratches but they do not catch my nail. I had a window replacement tech over to inspect and he said he could not remove them without even trying. Now I looking at a full replacement. Fortunately it will be covered by insurance. I have used Sonnex products before, very good products.
i cant really tell that I felt any of the scratches with he nail, maybe the deepest...those are hard to remove, but if you dont feel them you can for sure remove them or atleast get them less visible with this.

HPV 720, quite standard polishing machine with random orbital pattern 15mm. 720W, Ø 125 mm pad. There are many similar machines from other brands.
