That model is almost perfect! I love it but my only issue is the wheels hanging way way too low. If you look at the Floating Magnet Display Delorean version that lights up, the bottom of the wheels align perfectly to the base of the cars chasis. Otherwise near perfect, and well detailed model! 👌🏽
Danoby2 and that's what I did. If you look at the film, you'll see I'm correct and the other toy version got it right like I stated. Did you read my comment? In the film, the wheels don't hang below the car, they are parallel to the chasis...
Danoby2 I saw it and I still stand by my opinion. Plus, you told me to base it off the movie, and not another toy model, but you're showing me another toy. Toy models of all brands have made the same mistake, because they base their designs off of other toys like you did. The wheels are still too low. Now go to the movie and see what I'm talking about. LOL, use your own advice and don't look at another toy except the one I mentioned that did it right. I think I will do my own version and raise the wheels like depicted in the movie. Either way, awesome job on your build, It looks perfect to me besides the wheels! 👌🏽
Danoby2 Sorry to have to do this to you, but this is my favorite car ever, and I know it very very well!!!! Don't base your model off of others, only the movie! ua-cam.com/video/qj96Yk9_XGg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/erSTJ3xToxo/v-deo.html
WOW, man: This really DID turn out fantastic. Lucky thing having those "IKEA" lights around-- otherwise, it'd probably be a trip to either "RadioShack" or the Internet.
Thats a great job you did there, buddy! You should try to get some acrylic square pieces to use instead of those round glassed though. Im afraid that the vehicle might slip off those. The struts for the wheels can probably be done in a bunch of different ways too! I'd probably try to utilize the already existing system a bit more though. Maybe even try to get a spare set of wheels and try bulid the led's into it somehow. But I agree with you on not making a permanent convertion. What would be really damn awesome here, is to add actual working mechanics for the convertion. If the plan/engineering was good enough and I'd be certain of the result, I'd probably even make it permanent too! This is a damn awesome display piece! As far as other hover "illusion" ideas goes. What about a wall mount that was secure, and place it so it wouldn't be visible from where ever its supposed to be viewed from? I can see plenty of solutions here, but it would be a permanent spot for displaying it though. Anyways! Damn awesome job, buddy! Brave of you taking the chanse with such a expensive collectible too LOL!
Very nice! Looks fantastic in the last shot on display! Im hoping to get the props for marty such as jacket and hoverboard etc without having to buy the figure itself. My main goal one day with mine is to turn it into a fully functioning r/c car with a speaker inside for engine and noise effects controlled with the same remote as doc uses in the film. But id settle for this mod! I will make a video on mine in about a years time where il make the time circuits light up and il fit in an mp3 sound board to activate sounds such as time circuits or just ambient noise etc
Wow! Awesome work. You have inspired me into converting my DeLorean too. I don't have any 3D printing experience, but I guess it's about time to begin and this looks like a fine project. If you have any extra advice, I'd be very grateful. Congratulations on an excellent job, I love the way your Time Machine looks.
Got my 1/6 scale!! :) Do you know if those pipe clamps on the side will come off without breaking them? I want to replace the rainbow wires on the side so that they aren't so muddy looking.
that turned out great. Probably not gonna do that to mine though. im rich, so I'll just buy the 2nd version too. (if it gets released) if not, then we'll talk about a conversion.
Ken Carpenter Assuming they decide to release it, it will still be 1-2 years before we ever get our hands on it. Plus I think it's cruel that we're getting a Doc & Marty this year and we don't even have the right vehicle to pose them with.
How about the MR FUSION ?? Did you also 3D print that ?? Remember to change the licence plate, the OUT OF TIME one has to be changed for the BAR CODE style one from 2015
you did an amazing job, congratulations to you in an amazing custom!!! would you be kind enough to share where one can get the 3D printed file to hold the wheels in place? or a link to who 3D printed the pieces for you, I own a 3D printer, so I would be very interested in finding the file if available. I was able to find the IKEA lights you used, where did you get the Mr Fusion prop? great attention to detail Boss, Much RESPECT!
I am going to see if I can use EL wire to make the lights around the bumpers. Also, I can design a snap on 3d printed part so you don't have to glue anything, and it won't damage the wheel.
Hi Danoby2, I'm a huge fan of Back To The Future movies and just discovered Hot Toys models, but please for the love of God, tell me how do you guys buy toys from them? I couldn't find a website to buy from. Do they have an online store or something? Thank you so much! PS: If you used a 3D print for those brackets, you might want to modify them and create a functional piece that allows you the conversion from road to flying mode. That's what i would do!
I would be interested in a 3D printed wheel extensions for a reasonable price. ALso, where can I get the 1/6 scale Mr. Fusion or would you consider selling those too?
Back when I worked there, Gentle Giant Studios did a biker scout with a 'floating' speeder bike. they ran a steel rod up his leg to support it, and the effect was great. It would take some welding, but you could up this game by running a steel rod up marty's leg and a proper support plate above and below (you'd want to make a 'street' base of some sort). www.mwctoys.com/images/review_bscout_1.jpg
GTA ONLINE that is from GTA V GRAND TTHEFT AUTO V(5) that contains GTA ONLINE. then you have to buy CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE PACK do get access to THE DOOMS DAY HEIST they have the car they call it DELUXO you can upgde it to hover mode. that is hover a few feet off the ground. then upgrade for fly. you get to install rockets ROCKSTAR GAMES gone out of there way to copy BACK TO THE FUTURE on that one. and they got away with it.
Modded the Delorean.. after they release those other new Back to the future Characters such as Doc Brown and Marty from BBF2. In the end Hot Toys will make another one and you'll go "Oh shit i fucked up.." and they'll have eventually part 2 and 3 made. Really trust me. You wasted time doing this. There goes your 700 bucks lol.. Epic fail..
That figure was so realistic, I clicked on this video thinking the delorean was life sized
It was, he shrunk it using Pym particles he took from Ant-Man.
Me too xd
Yup
Same
Me too
Cool Conversion 👍
My fav is the kidslogic Delorean that actually hovers!
Very cool. Probably one of the most iconic images of our generation. Well played, sir.
awesome modification... thanks for sharing Danoby
Nice bro cool awesome 👍😎 can way to get mine own
This just looks amazing and I would have to agree that the back to the future 2 DeLorean design looks awesome.
That is Nice looking thing there!
Great video my friend!!!!! Great customization and for what your doing between your phicens and now this, it's very professional and awesome!!!
Had fun making it!! thanks!
You really have a huge passion for your toys. This looks incredible!
Amazing customization Danoby. Looks perfect, even by just having it on glasses.
Thanks dude!
Nice Model. I love BTTF and the Time-machine Delorean
Awesome job! Looks amazing!
I really hope Hot Toys releases the hover version.
That is such a great modification. Well done!!
THANKS!
Looks good. Nice job

You need to base it off the film, not another toy company's interpretation. :)
Danoby2 and that's what I did. If you look at the film, you'll see I'm correct and the other toy version got it right like I stated. Did you read my comment? In the film, the wheels don't hang below the car, they are parallel to the chasis...

eSeReS The train wheel modification can also be done this way easy. Not a bit of this version though
Danoby2...A very clever idea...Looks Amazing ....!!
Awesome! They make incredible "Toys",..
Dam! You went in on that Bro. Looks badass!
Still keeping my fingers crossed for the preorder, but atleast I know there's an alternative.
Cheers 👍
I grew up remembering part 3 the most. poor me.
Urbz that sucks
Urbz no offense you make me sad. 😂😂
Part III > Part II IMO
very good job, I will follow you to see your next videos. Regards my friend

I don't have 3D printing experience either. Good thing Fiverr.com was there to help me!
Thanks Danoby2. I'll let you know how it goes!!! See you in the Future!
AWESOME, looks great, AND you could EASILY convert it back to the Mk 1 should you desire.
Siri Emerald if I desire to, I can 3D print train wheels and head out to the old west!!
Uh oh... Do I see a Mk 3 video in the future??
Was this shot on film? Looks good
Nice
Got my 1/6 scale!! :)
Do you know if those pipe clamps on the side will come off without breaking them? I want to replace the rainbow wires on the side so that they aren't so muddy looking.
I wouldn't recommend taking it off.
How do you dislike something like this? You will have to prove that you can do better if you do.
Jealousy
Omfg Johnny five!!!!!! He's alive,!
Awesome!!!!

Danoby2 yeppers
Awesome work! You should sell the 3D print wheel extensions.
Hmm...
I'd buy them
Or the files so we can print them ourselves
Risky! Risky! Risky! looks good on display table.
nice
Hello friend, answer me one thing, how did you make this plastic piece that hides the wire or cable that holds the wheel? did you use 3d printer?
Mcfly😍😍
Mexican fan right
here 🙆
This looks wicked cool! I sold mine to get the new one?😵😵
All you need now is a green screen...
Where did you find the Mr Fusion?
Great idea!
So you can get a Mr. Fusion attachment? I dont have the 1/6 scale yet. I want it though.
...nice mod but you need to go completely wireless! Don't settle for less!
Awesome! Any chance you have contact info to order a set of those 3D tire mounts?
Oh yeah, btw-- I'm definitely subscribed now.
LOVE to see yer other future products...
ready for the new iron man Mk 5
indeed.
How about the MR FUSION ?? Did you also 3D print that ??

Thanks dude, and thanks for watching! Mr Fusion was found on Thingverse.
Where to find the 3D print file for the wheel?
Are you going to get the reissue of the Kids Logic maglev model? It's not in Hot Toys scale, but squarely hits the BTTF nostalgia button.
I am going to see if I can use EL wire to make the lights around the bumpers. Also, I can design a snap on 3d printed part so you don't have to glue anything, and it won't damage the wheel.
You sir are a man of your word! Kudos! 😁
Is this another version of the hover wheels prints? Are they Available on line?
Good job even though probably nerfs the original value ..what matters is what you value it at
neosrt10 not really, you can just screw the wheels back on.
I wonder why Hot Toys is taking so long to release their own version of the Hover Conversion Delorean.
genius😅
They better!
where can i get this big scale model?
do you have a tutorial on disassembling the whole car? or link maybe?
That is so cool man! i wish i had the courage to try it on mine xD
The wheels are too low like they're dangling. The part where your light is should be flushed with the base of the car. Nice effort though.
Where online did u purchase?
Where did you get the Mr Fusion from ?
I think he forgot about the license plate 8:52
Next month Hot Toys will release the Hover Version...................... Just Kidding.
Part 2 was my fave but only just I loved the original and I guess the 3rd was alright but I just found it hard to follow

Hello there! Visit sideshowtoys.com :)
THANK YOU! I really appreciate!
🐈🐈🐈
How did u get the mr fusion
I honestly think you could have had success to keep both options instead of using hot glue.
I may do that to mine. Badass brother..
Hot Wheels ironically got the wheels wrong on this one...
Hi. Would it be possible to provide info for the 3D printed parts? Thanks!!
Never owned them. Sorry!
Any chance you could share contact info? I’d be very grateful, thanks!
I would be interested in a 3D printed wheel extensions for a reasonable price. ALso, where can I get the 1/6 scale Mr. Fusion or would you consider selling those too?
Nothing shown in video is available for sale.
How much for everything a grand?
Great job !!! I know what you mean about Hot Toys...they've been teasing a 1966 Batmobile for a decade....jerks !!!😡
Very cool. Where did you get that Mr Fusion?
I'd like to know too.
I've seen it on the BigBadToyStore website for a little over 200 unless this is a different version and some people selling it on ebay I think
How much does these go for I like how the hole set up, and it's one of my favorite movie of all time.
How much for a set of the 3D print?

you'd run the electrical through that leg as well
Hey danoby any tips on how to start collecting toys like u?
why dont you just get two really high powered magnets and use that to make it hover...
They sell them that hover now
The wheels are little bit too low... but nice.
#BallsOfSteel
