Was knitting on my own skirt while watching this lol It's on 4.5mm needles and I currently have 600+ stitches in a round (increasing by another 20 every 6 rounds) so I can 100% relate to yours taking forever 🤣 Especially since knitting only has 1 stitch length, so it's like having to make a whole skirt in single crochets 😭
wow!! i really want to learn how to knit and i didn’t know there was only one stitch length. i can’t even imagine making a skirt in single crochets that would take so long 😭😭

i feel that honestly i learned in february of this year so i’m pretty new at it too but the more you crochet, the more confident you’ll be! i say to just go for it because wether it works or not it’s a learning experience for sure

The yarn you are using is too stiff, it's especially noticable in the sweater. Since it's acrylic, I doubt it'll block out. You could try using a bigger hook size to work around the stiffness a bit, but in the end not every yarn is suitable for every project.

i am right handed! and yes i think i’ll just stick to slip stitching the squares together but i wanted to try a new join method of joining!

yes! the yarn is very stiff still but i’m chilling with it and it’s very warm. but a good learning experience for next time!
