Congrats on picking up one of these for a good price! I have the brown dial version and I love it! It is one of my most favorite pieces! I do think the lume could be a lot better though! I call this watch the Longines Legend Diver Killer! Looking forward to your full review!
Really close to Legend Diver, that was kind to expensive for me couple of years ago, so I got Vostok Amphibia Compressor as alternative (well, actually it's not alternative to Longines anyway, but it has compressor case, holds 200 m of WR and has a really nice lume). Take a look on it.
I have the white and black one and feel this could almost be used as a dress watch. Very elegant, only 12.4mm thick including box crystal yet 300m wr. Probably would appeal more to the masses if date window was at 3:00 and there was gobs of lume, but I really like it. A very wearable diver that is different than typical diver.
Big Congrats Anders!!👌🏻 Looking forward To your review, which I think will be mostly positive, there’s always one negative..... most pros, maybe some cons ✅😉 these kompressor Diver style watches are cool looking, one positive is that it isn’t a Big bezel which makes The Diver thick, The innerkompressor makes it slim!😎👍🏻 Congrats again!👍🏻
@@TimeAndCrown you’re welcome, I myself is wearing The new SWC Bunker.... I’m over The Moon with this one, if you haven’t checked them out, I urge you To do so......😉 Good Luck with The Alpina, you definitly have Made a homerun with that one!!👏🏻🤩
Nice watch, but a diver with a dressy style dial?? Maybe its the color of the dial or something but those indicies are barely legible for a diver style. They look chrome like for a more dressy as oppose to thick, round style, or chunkier indicies. Just my opnion, but I like alpina, i have the seastrong diver 300 and appears way more legible/sportier. I like your reviews, cheers!
The box is excessive for a watch at it's price. The watch it's self is very good looking. Sadly most of their watches are too big for sixteen cm wrists like mine.
Oh dear. A diver that is too dark and lacking contrast to be legible and what on earth is going on with the off colour trapezoidal date window at 3.45?!?
@@TimeAndCrown i don't think my screen is defective I am actually colourblind so it seems very lacking in contrast to me. Im glad to hear there are no legibility issues. I like your videos but I am surprised to see you with this one. I think this watch is a collection of design ideas that just don't really fit.
@@TimeAndCrown I think I have an idea what @pmewUK means, at least this is my initial thought when it comes to usability (legibility specifically) as a diver: When under water, using the watch as an actual diver, when under lower lighting conditions, you would probably need a lot more contrast. The indecees would be harder to see as they are not loomed. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful watch, and I wouldn't mind owning it myself, but from a functionality perspective as a diver, maybe just a little tiny design flaw ;) Looking forward to the review - I don't know anything about this watch so maybe it will redeem itself a little if the internal bezel is loomed ;) Btw, I don't mind the date position
It's a great catch at a reasonable price!!
And i,personally, love date windows at unusual places in the dial.
Congrats from Warsaw.
Alpina is an amazing brand. way under rated.

Reminds me of a cleaner Longines legend diver. Nice!! 👍 👏
Very good looking piece. I'm a fan of the vintage styling. Nice pick up 👍

Hi Jon. Great choice. It’s like a dress-diver. It’s classic but it’s also tough.
Best regards,

Tillykke :) Rigtig lækker farvekombination du har fundet dér. Det giver en meget speciel visuel effekt med en intern krans til en domed urskive :)
Very impressing for the price.
Congratulations

Mange takk, Torben. Now I will wear the watch for a while and test it to see if it holds up 🙂.

It looks very similar to a JLC Polaris Memovox. Only at a fraction of the price. Nice find!

I prefer the Certina heritage PH200M diver...
Pillaré el verde
Such a nice looking wstch
Beautifuull.. excelent
That date window placement is ridiculous. It completely spoils an otherwise handsome dial.
Is your Heuer Monaco for sale?!
Hi David. No, it’s here to stay :)
@@TimeAndCrown good to know. Tag Heuer are decent. Yesterday, today and always!
Damn that’s nice

Absolutely no legibilty issues. Your screen must be defect.

@@pmewUK Oh, I see. That’s probably why it becomes harder to read for you. Looking at the watch right now I find it legible. Thanks for watching.
