I use the M7 pro (MX Pro 2) IEM’s with custom ear tips with my Roland TD-50 RW kit and Roland SPD-SX sample pad. I can actually feel the air move in my ear when I’m playing my kick drum. They work great when I’m playing in concert with my band. With the ear tips, I was able to bring the volume down because of the tight fit of the ear tips. I would definitely recommend the MX Pro 2 for electronic drummers!!!
Excellent review bro! I love that they have a listening solution for all tastes.
It's so nicely laid out.
One thing i'd like to see Mee Audio standardize is their cable connector. Right now they have a mix of some using MMCX (a widely available connector standard for custom cable) and others using their proprietary connector, which even has a slight resemblance to MMCX and can easily confuse a newbie who isn't familiar with what MMCX looks like when shopping for replacement cables.
I definitely can't tell the difference and I'm rather geeky about audio haha
I think that's what these new products are all about, just having 4 products with the exact same design and connectivity.
@@phillipmorales8213 yea unfortunately their 'same' connector went with being same as the proprietary one rather than the MMCX that the pinnacle and M7 pro used.
i guess at least its better than audio technica/sennheiser whose in ear connectors are entirely proprietary instead of 'mostly' proprietary like Mee audio
Your videos never cease to satisfy :)
😁
@JuanBagnell. Slightly off topic, but since these offer great passive noise cancelling (not ANC), someone needs to do a video solely focused on passive noise cancelling for those of us who work around moderate noises, vice jackhammer or super loud lawnmower noises. I think that would be helpful.
What about these vs Shure's IEM's?
Here’s my comparison having owned SHURE SE215’s then the MEE-Audio MX3 Pros.
SE215’s: great starter IEM’s. I loved them! Had them for 2 years and were my first pair. Although I’ve had some issues (needing new wires once a year). In terms of sound, these are alright. The sound is very muddy at times and thin. The frequency ranges are a lot smaller due to the single dynamic driver in them. Overall out of 5 these are about a 3/5. (I can’t comment on SHURE’s higher models except for the 846’s which honestly, my MX3 pros with custom molds beat)
MX3 pros: holy crap man... for the price of these things they’re far better. I stood behind SHURE for a long time. But I got the opportunity to try out these at a musicians show (kinda like NAMM) and was blown away. Their quality is unmatched and very good. The customization of the earpieces are awesome. But in terms of sound, these are FANTASTIC. they have 3 drivers. A bass subwoofer moving coil driver, and 2 balanced armature drivers that provide a lot of headroom while wearing them. Not muddy at all, and the custom ear Tips? They’re amazing quality and look great.
This is just my take and everyone’s hearing may be different but MEE-Audio is a great company and they’ve got me sold.
So I have the M6 Pro as well as two cables and I was seriously close to ordering the custom eartips.
Do the eartips fit the casing of the new headphones? And will my cables work if I was to buy one of these headphones?
I LOVE MEE AUDIO SO MUCH
This genuinely makes me really excited to see what this company does next. It's like a modular headphone, that's freaking insane.
That's a great question and no they don't. I'll make sure to cover that in my next video. Long story short, they reinforced the arm which holds the eartips, but now it's thicker than on the M6.
Loved the video and your explanation about the product. Will definitely look into these!
Videos like this are really really making me hate the removal of headphone jacks
I still think it's insultingly anti-consumer. Such an obvious ploy to force new accessory purchases.
Get an LG Phone Quad DAC
Thanks for a concise overview of an interesting product
Really awesome review my man! Thank you so much!
Awesome review AGAIN!!!! 💯
😎👍
Thanks great video I am looking for great audio quality while wearing a motorcycle helmet. Spotify high quality so which one would you get? Oh and I love bass
Thanks for your review. How would you compare the mx1 to the m6 pro 2nd gen?
Same question here!
NB: the cables on these are basically proprietary. They don’t use the much more common MMCX or 2 pin systems.
Cool video bro. Thanks. Got me thinking I ned custom moulds for my new Sony buds.
Dude. Molds. So good.
4:58 Juan your wife is beautiful! I'm so glad we finally got a chance to really meet your family. Also I completely relate to your wife because I have "funky" ears as well hahah
Both of my ears are different (my left is a free lobe and the right is attached) so that means it's incredibly uncomfortable using earbuds. That's why I bought the M6 so I can actually comfortably enjoy music like everyone else can.
She said "awww thanks". And I completely agree 😁
That's what i love about good pro options, they're a little easier to customize for the right fit.
@@SomeGadgetGuy I'm really excited for what's next for this company.
Thanks for telling her that actually really makes me happy!! I love hearing about your family in the discussions in the SGGQA podcast. A creator that is willing and excited to share his work with their family is freaking awesome. It's what I like about you and Trisha.
I have the beyerdynamic xelento remote do you believe worth to change?
200$ android phone with dragonfly dac vs 1000$ android phone with dragonfly dac sound same?
I am kz lover, did you every try the kz ate for do these measure up? Thanks
I got the Pinnacle P1s (Mee Audio)
Any suggestions in-ear for the lg v40?
Best spotify audiophile setup with external dac and headphones
Are there any other ones like this but usb c?
I'd maybe just scout the earbuds you want and try to find a good DAC to drive them. Maybe something like the Fiio that can go wired or wireless.
Why are you so cool.
😎
Hey I got that shirt
It's a good shirt.
Endgame is fatiguing!
Mx4 xịn
I had a set of their older IEMs and they were, umm, not good.
Since the second gen m6, they've been solid for me.
@@SomeGadgetGuy I'm glad they've improved. I'll probably check out the 4 driver config at some point.
😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I bought these headphones a while ago, the warranty didn't do anything, the two cables that it comes with are rubbish, they both broke the first month, I have to use them with a wireless connection and I can barely hear them, it was the worst purchase I've ever made, every penny Thrown in the trash, I do not recommend it to anyone, my audio is rubbish and very expensive, and the audio quality is terrible, for much less money there are headphones a thousand times better.
