Thor was never a favourite of mine but i do love the first Thor film, but after Ragnarok he has been on a amazing arc. What i love is that they broke him, hes was and still is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU and it didn't take physical force to beat him down, the loss of his mum, dad, brother and best friend sent him on a downward spiral and meant he couldn't beat Thanos. Endgame was great for Thor and one of my favourite moments was when he realised he was still worthy! Also Thor Love and Thunder I cannot wait for!

By hammer you mean Mjolnir? Which in Ragnarok was show that it was made for Hela? And there’s a whole unworthy storyline in the comics. But who knows, like I said we’ll find out when the movie comes out.
The fact that Thor’s depression is played off as a joke in Endgame shows that men’s mental health is not taken seriously.

From Ragnarok to Endgame, Thor became one of the best characters. Comedic yes, yet broken. You can kill a powerful man but if you want to truly destroy him, kill everyone he loves. I’m glad Cris Hemsworth decided to stay with the MCU so that story plays out.

@@selim6189 No, but his contract expired with Endgame movie, but he agreed to renew his contract for a couple more movies, we dont know how many yet, I think two but thats no certain, but his story arch it's not over yet, so, I'm glad they renewed his contract.

Perfect. There is a moment in Endgame while Thor is drunkenly talking about the Aether and everyone else has stopped listening when he stops being a fat figure of fun and we realise just how broken he is and I actually had tears in my eyes in the cinema.
I request marvel to bring THOR in his real form. He lost everything but still worthy. Still the strongest......

This is why no one should care about an Oscar. It's an outdated award system that is not suitable for a series of films where the development of the characters span multiple films and cannot be judged by one movie alone.

I didn't like Thor in the begining but after the endgame, he became one of my favourite heroes. He lost everything in litle time. We learned important lessons. Also touching video Ash. Bravo.

Yep, taika and the Russo bro’s did a great job of making someone who was a bit one note very complex.
Sif was more to do with the actor had other commitments, but I do agree slightly with the warriors 3. My only thing is that they didn’t build them up enough as really good friends in the MCU so I didn’t really care when they died.

Wanda loses her boyfriend who isn’t technically alive and she gets a whole ass TV show about it. Thor loses his mother, his father, his brother, his friends, his girlfriend, his home, his hammer, his own eye, and so much more, and it’s made to be comedic.

I thought I could not love him more.... But it's always increasing.
The fact that he is so young by asgardian standards, while his life turned upside down... Just tragic.
Situations made him look so old for his age and broke him but couldn't take away his ever innocent golden heart.. Our Thunderer will shine again but again he never stopped.
Wow that was emotional. And his "let me do something good, something right" killed me. He finally understood the great struggle of his brothers whole life just shortly after Loki had his hero moment. They'd have made such a fantastic power couple after all this shit they went through. Still not over the fact that Loki's gone...

I feel so bad for Thor, he lost so mush, his mother, father, brother, best friend, sister, girlfriend, home, hammer, eye, over half his people, hair, went through all of the trouble to make a weapon to beat thanos but failed to kill thanos and save half the universe, lost Natasha and tony, he basically lost everything of his past, and in endgame it shows how hard he tried to hold himself up and strong but finally broke and I can feel for him

You know what I just realized. Thor in 10 years:
1. Lost his brother (Fell from the bridge)
2. Had to fight said brother
3. Lost his mother
4. Lost his brother (Stabbed)
5. Saw his worst fear (AoU when Wanda gave them visions)
6. Learned he has a sister who he also had to fight
7. Lost his best friends from Thor 1 (we didn't really know these guys but they were Thor's friends)
8. Lost many of his people by a destruction he had to cause to save at least a few (Ragnarok)
9. Lost half of the people he managed to save by the attack of Thanos in their spaceship
10. Lost his brother (broken neck, for good)
11. Most likely lost another half of his people (Snap)
12. Became a depressed/alcoholic
Considering Thor's lifespan though (now he's about 1500 years and physically he's in his early to mid 20s) all these incidents happened very close to each other

13. Lost his girlfriend. Plus she died to save *him* and the children.

I met Thor in a small town in a little Midwest diner, and he wanted to fit in with us. I showed him levies and flannel shirts, but he kept walking around with that darned hammer. He wouldn’t put it away, just lugged it around town all day.
