Elpis did something VERY similar. IDK what she hurt it on but she gouged the hoof really well, I think it was earlier this year but maybe it was last year? I did what you did similarly with chlorhexidine spray and I did injectable antibiotics.
I remember! Ava’s fell, at least part of it, but she healed up pretty nicely and now she is back to her normal self! I didn’t give antibiotics but I was wondering if I should have done it just I. Case… no infection thank God

And she is so mellow and quiet, never gets in trouble, never starts trouble 😩 but accidents like this happen even with the quiet ones 😂
